  1. Well it's fairly obvious that your account has been made to spam these forums now, and will get banned as a consquence.
  2. I know you'll apparently ignore me, but really if you're going to make a new thread get the spelling right. :wall: On topic: I think Andrew Gower is now one of the richest young people in England. No idea what the categories of that are though. ~£40m i heard.
  3. ^ Exactly. Until you try every possible kc (and it goes up to 4000) about 1000 times each, you will never know which kc is the best. Even if you try them all 1000 times, what with barrows items being quite rare it could still be down to luck. All you've really done is made an explanation of the game theory and then said: I got lucky with 13! Thus it must be the magic number! Actually kc goes upto 9999, then it says "Too many!" if you kill another. I like getting 30 KC using crumble undead on the skeletons, 35k Mage XP/ 4 runs per hour Oh yeah lol, I was thinking of GWD. Still, it's far too much kc to test out thoroughly. (sp?)
  4. I had an odd experience today. At greater demons I was killing a greater and another one spawned, the other guy there ran to kill it but got attacked by a wild dog. He had just started killing the dog, so I attacked the greater. He then called me a noob for "stealing his kill." I didn't really know what to think here, but I noticed he had been there longer than me and was still having the dogs attack him, so I told him my trick for avoiding them. He then promptly flamed me and told me not to talk to him. I mean srsly, wtf!? :wall: I guess, seeing as there are so many people playing MMORPGs you're likely to run into a few people who hate you/drive you to hate them. Just ignore them and get on with the game I guess.
  5. There will be no war. America is going into economic meltdown. There's more likely to be another Great Depression than a war. Houses that would sell in England for about £900k (at least $1,500k) are selling, in Hollywood, for $86k. Just like before the last Great Depression, the banks got over-confident and started letting out loans and mortgages only asking for yearly wages mouth to mouth and not needing verification. Because of the house prices plummetting, there's no point people paying back their mortgages, noone has any cash and their houses are worthless so banks have nothing to reclaim in return. Also, back on topic, you seem to have forgotten that China is in the middle of a huge propaganda drive to the west - thousands of videos uploaded onto youtube showing china's prosperity and programmes on the tv are proof of that. Both sides know that a war could be potentially fatal for the world due to the war-technology availiable at the moment, and people are less war-orientated than they were; back in the times of WW1 and 2 machine guns were new, planes were only used for surveilance at the start of ww1 - pilots of opposing sides waved at each other as they passed, a year later they took pistols up and shot at each other, they then started throwing grenades out of the planes, and fighter and bomber planes were started. In ww2, a war hungry, mad dictator invaded Poland, underestimating the serverity of the proposed intentions of France and Britain when they said they would protect Poland - they had said the same for Czechoslovkia and ended up letting Hitler take control of all the best parts, why should he think they wouldn't do they same for Poland? What he didn't know is that since he invaded Britain underwent the biggest peace-time rearmament in history. Are we doind that now? no. We may be on a peace time budget but we have a fairly small army stretched across the Middle East and advertising frequently for more soldiers. Even if you've just skipped through all that, I'll tell you here: noone wants a war, noone is ready for a war, and there are no real reasons to go to war.

  7. Looks like there's a leak and all the spec attack fluid's draining out lol. In other news, I got my 2nd best clue today! \ That dhide top sold for 911k! :D
  8. I'm not convinced tbh. :| If somehow you'd ended up at 13 I may have agreed seeing as I got all my drops (see sigs) in about 40 chests at 13 kc, but really I think that was just luck.
  9. Jagex's ever famous customer relations. So in the first one when it's obvious you're talking about gold bars they mute you because you said you were buying 8m worth of gold I'm guessing. :wall: In the second one I have obsolutely no idea what the offence was. #-o Sorry to hear you got muted again. :(
  10. Yeah, it's in West Ardaugne in the row of houses. The update made it have more walls than before or something like that. Anways I've had that clue like 5 times in the last week so it's still working. ;)
  11. I do agree with you whole-heartedly with the coin picking up idea, but on the others I wouldn't. You say, ooh 100 bones and it's the same as a really good bone. But 100 normal bones buried is not just 100 clicks, but 100 clicks followed by 100 waits for the bone to be buried. It's a time:xp ratio thing. Also, people play this game for fun, they don't want to be picking up and sorting through the drops of every monster they kill to get 4.5 pray xp and perhaps, occassionally, 2.5 herblore xp. It's really not worth it. Now I don't know how good an account you have on RS, but in the first few weeks of me playing I remember burying every single bone that I saw, and trying to pick up every item I found on the floor. But now I have a decent account with 84 Slayer, and if I had carried on like this then I would have been bored out of my mind years ago, I would have either quit, or be about 70 Slayer. OK, I may have 1 more prayer level, and probably a couple more herblore levels, but it would be so boring and repetetive that it would render it not only boring, but inefficient. You say it's free xp, but time is money, and the time spent doing this would actually render it very expensive and inefficient.
  12. I wonder if they'll allow people attacking from different levels? Because If so people could take Ardaugne Castle, Falador Castle, Varrock Castle, and many other places that would be awesome for PKers! I really can't wait for this update, I'll probably just walk around with no items for the first day and see where people are gathering lol.
  13. After adding pointless gilded benches and tables and clocks and all that shizzle that used to be really expensive to my house the flatpacks from clues really do get annoying. They should, if having them in the clues at all, at least make them a rare enough reward to keep them at the prices they were before instead of taking out the tiny bit of profit constructers can make without lending out their houses.
  14. They aren't the best but they're nice siggies, the fact you can have your own backgrounds and logos is good too! Btw, where is the link to them on the front page or isn't there one? I always have to go in through the forum post, but that's won't be there forever. :?
  15. Wow that's pretty pro lol, didn't know you could grind on carts.

I pretty much live in my Jeans lol. They're just safe trousers: never really in or out of fashion, comfortable and can be worn for practically any activity, from meeting friends to helping your dad in the garden. Spending tons of money on jeans however is really kinda of pointless, because they all look pretty much the same lol. :
  17. It's been proven that it's unhealthy to live on vegetables alone, and potentially fatal to live on just meat. I love food generally but for me the meat is the centre of any meal, it's also key to physical strength. I personally think someone has to be fairly wierd to be a vegetarian, but really if they don't want to eat meat, who am I to stop them?
  18. People only flame you when you're doing something better than them. It's jealousy taking the form of trying to make the better person feel insecure in some pathetic attempt to console themselves. If you get flamed, feel proud that you're so much better than that person that they feel the need to ridicule you.
  19. The old pking is coming back as we speak. What the hell do you mean? its not what it has been, because you dont get the players item if you kill him... Also, if you want to do "civilian" activities, you'd have to be mentally impaired to go to a PvP world to do them.
  20. I doubt it will just be 1% of the map in a big block around lumby castle tbh. GE is most likely to be safe, as are banks and minigames. Quest-only areas will probably also be safe. Entrana could be interesting, if they allow pvp on there then high level crafters and fletchers will probably have a whale of a time killing innocent Law Rune runners lol. Although I doubt people will go on pvp if all they want to do is run law runes.
  21. I don't see why people consider MMO players to be losers or outcasts or anything like that. I personally play RS when I'm not doing anything else, and often go out with friend and socialise and play sports. I like Runescape becasue of the fact you're always palying it with other people. When I have played non-MMO computer games in the past, if they're on the internet I'll be bored in about an hour or two maximum, and if it's a big computer game I've bought myself, it might keep me amused for a week or two. I find that if I can't interact with other players while playing a game, I very quickly lose interest. I always mocked any of my friends at school who tried to mock me for playing Runescape. Their only jibe was "Ha! You play Runescape!" These guys would go home and play fake-football on a computer or PS2 all on their own, while I would play a game that would allow me to do things that are impossible in real life, and I would play it with thousands of other people. In my opinion, that makes Runescape the least-loser-orientated game there is.
  22. Boss hunting is always fun, and until I have every decent item in the game with money to spare I'm not even considering being bored of this game lol. There's so much to aspire to acheive, and even if you don't want to acheive anything, just chatting to all the mates I've made through RS stops it being boring in any way.
  23. One Slayer dart isn't gonna get you very far! : :P Nice guide lol, try adding fire wave though lol, because due to modern prices it's actually a lot cheaper, and it's hits better than Slayer Dart!
  24. Well in the past I think people would have just quit, because there was nothing to aspire to. If you look down the top 100 list on the GE database, ignoring rares, 3a, gwd items etc (newish things) it takes a long time to get to Dragon Chain. Since gwd, the price of d chain has gone down because there's better show off armour, (more expensive things to buy) so in the past, it only follows that otherwise expensive things would have been even more expensive due to the lack of rare expensive items for people to spend their cash on. They would buy up loads of rune sets and any drag they could get their hands on instead of rares. This would increase the price hugely because all these items would be taken out of circulation. Then, when 3a came out, these people would sell their stacks of rune and dragon and spend on 3a, and the same would happen when godswords come out, causing a flood in the market. Basically, without rares, the Runescape economy now would be very different, and Runescape may even not exist, at least not in such huge popularity. In the early days, if people didn't have phats to aspire to, maybe they would have quit, maybe not, but lots of money would have been undoubtedly drained from the game by rich people quitting because they had nothing to spend their money on. However maybe Jagex would have noticed this and brought out hugely expensive items to replace the expensive item gap where the rares aren't. There is so much of Runescape based in rares that it is really unbeleivable. Although nowadays lots of people invest their money in godswords and 3rd age gear instead of rares, and the high-end rare market is being hit badly by the trade limit and the GE, a lot of modern Runescape is based on the past economy and the influence rares had on that.
  25. Whenever that's happened to me, if our team is double or more the size of the other team, we stop pushing orbs away and making barriers and just leave them to it. However, we do want free ess so we carry on racking up our own points as fast as possible lol.
