I know someone who had a tonne of granite stored away and made about 75m selling/junking it all off. Anywho I lost about 1mil "hignsight geepees" from having made a load of granite lobsters when granite was about 1.1k each. It's now 595 and plumetting! (As I knew it would after this update.) :roll: :wall:

ok look at what you just said then look at the defense stats of the dfs compared to it. you are very wrong now gtfo :lol: Fail. :roll: Although the actual defensive stats are lower than that of the Dragonfire shield, Divine has a 70% chance of reducing the damage you receive by 25%. This makes it the best defensive shield in the game. Not only that but the Summoning defence of Divine is far higher than DFS, and the Crush defence is three higher. Also, I personally put prayer under the defence banner, and Divine has a +3 Prayer bonus.

So it will only heal back to max hp if you leave the place completely...

Well Arcane, although I'm not a mager, is the most interesting to me. A shield with not only decent defence generally, but a whopping +20 to magic!? That's THE best mager's shield in the game by so far it's not even funny. Divine sounds pretty awesome to me, I see a lot more kills for solos in most monsters and Pray Pots perhaps going up in price. Elysian's 70% chance of reducing hits by 25% makes it the best for Slayers and campers, while Spectral undeniably beats it for boss hunting. Spectral also sounds fairly interesting, +30 mage defence is great but I can't see a huge demand for it when most mage attack-based creatures that can't be seen off by Karil's only really apply to lower level players. In realation to DFS, while DFS is a generally good shield, all of them beat it in certain aspects. Jagex have, yet again, brought out a selection of items which are all good in their own way but none is the standout best. I don't know whether I'd go for Divine or Elysian really but I would definitely go for one of those due to their pro-melee specs. However as the prices are crazy at the moment I won't have my hands on one of them for a long time.

How much food is actually needed for the quest? I assumed that as Jagex suggested higher WC level and reasonable HP to be helpful, maybe about 60 wc and 80ish hp would be enough for no-fooding it lol.

Anyone realised how this new beast looks kinda like a merging of the old and new Jad, and has also replaced Jad as highest level monster lol? : Anywho, really looking forward to getting 20k pray xp from this quest (15k + 5k bonus) and going to try to slay the new hardest monster in the game for some of those crazy rewards! :shock:

Also I just tried it in a deserted area and got this: You appear to be telling someone your password - please don't! If you are not, please change your password to something more obscure! A fun fact - which I posted in this tread - is that the correct answer in the stronghold of security is that your password WON'T get blocked - eventhough it in fact does. Maybe they just wanted to show off that they found a way to block passwords being spread! :lol: Or maybe they're monitoring when people say their passes so they can black mark people for trying to sell their accs. :ohnoes:

At the start of GWD people were using just 3 man teams to get a few kills. Maybe it's just because it's the first day but to me that sounds like quite a lot. To me "beats" means a bigger challenge so imo, if it needs so many good players it beats GWD.

O hai der! : I've finally completed the blog, everything that I wanted to add has been added and only things that you guys suggest/inspire me to add will be added now. Why do people consistently deny that dragon plate may be coming out? All you could see in the picture was his shoulders and his bare arms. Chain = bare arms, plate = covered arms. The shoulders were exactly like Dragon Chain and the only vaguely complicating factor was that people thought there weren't red shoulders on an untrimmed slayer cape... but there are. I wish everyone would stop speculating so wildly about the tiniest detail. Anywho, on topic, I haven't seen any hints for this big quest yet but I'm sure there will be something soon, maybe similar to the summoning icons on the mugs in the Development Diaries?
