There has to be a mixture of both imo. If they keep on bringing out new items then as soon as you get one great item a new one will come out, the one you got will crashand you'll lose your money. However, if there's a long period in between they have to fill it with something, and new skills are great fun as long as you actually have a use for them. Hunter was never hugely useful tbh, and it just seemed to be a skill for the sake of a skill, but summoning was unquantifiably (sp?) useful and although more boring to train is still a far better skill.

Glad to know you survived the muffin! On less srs matters... how can you get a detention for getting a question wrong? If you get it wrong they didn't teach you well and they should go on a course to learn to teach you better and not give you a detention. :(

That's a good point Stealth and I have to say I didn't think about it. I suppose if it's half from nothing and half from pray and you don't have prayer it'd only take one half and not the other... however that would be logical and considering that this is RS that makes it uncertain. :roll:

What I don't understand is why he didn't just eat the shark he had on him? did he just accept it and die? also, in him pm it says he has no food, I see food =.= meh, mabye i'm over analizing a little. A day of firsts for me, starting with my first GWD drop: and ending with my first unexpected death in about two years: I kept bgs, the shard, and Torag's Legs and the death was due to me managing not only to forget my teleport out, but also due to me not actually knowing about the alter teleport.... :wall: Massive fail!!! :lol: Live and learn I guess, although I learned the hard way I guess I'll never forget about the teleport on the alter now... :roll: Anyone who's seen all my posts on this will see me gradually calm down as time goes on lol. This is the last one...

Wow I had a wierd day today. For the first time in ages I had time enough after school to actually go to a boss, and not only did I solo bandos 3 times but I went on a duo bandos with Naruto_x89 too! The duo started off really well with this from the first mini kill: (Spam is due to it, although small, being my first GWD drop!) and ended with naruto_x89 teleing out (he warned me etc, he just ran out of food) so I was like: OK fine I've got a load of food left, I'll just solo the rest of this kill and leave it at that. Now being the stingy sob I am I didn't piety the mini kills because I wanted to save pray... -.- I finished the kill and then to my distress realised I had no teleport out! So ofcourse I tried a home teleport which they spawned on almost instanly. I then tried soloing the whole kill with minimal supplies left and while panicking somewhat. Little did I know of an "alter teleport..." So yeah, the trip ended like this: And of course being the stingy forgetful fool I am, I didn't even have item protect on and actually tried to get into the 10% hp zone to get a rol teleport out.... So yeah, great trip ended horribly by my shear stupidity and ignorance of the alter tele... :wall: I kept bgs, the shard, and torag's legs.... GF Bandos, I'll be back!

Wow that quest was short and really surprisingly easy, I only died once and that was due to lag lol. I now have access to the new scourge or RS! :shock: Time to go check Corpee out! :

When you bless a players grave or in this quest; the souls, your prayer is drained. But theres an altar in the third cave which you can use. If you need a break you can run out of the third cave into the second one while you eat or restore run energy. Awesome I didn't see that lol, thanks! :

Just means more girls left for straight guys! \ To be honest the only thing that annoys me about homosexuality is people actively discriminating against people for it. As long as gays don't encourage other people to be gay - which they never do - and only flirt or chat up (or whatever they do) other men who they know are gay then I'm fine with it. It's not natural in my mind, but it's hardly like the population's suffering because of it, so if they seriously prefer men to women then something in their biological make up or the way they were bought up must be different and there's nothing they can do about that, so there's no point torturing them for something that doesn't affect us and isn't their fault.

I have to agree with people saying "lol" in real life as being on of the most annoying things in the world. :wall: The only time it's funny is a group of kids in my school are all completely spack but are probably quite normal on the internet, but they just say lol and rofl all the time and will occassionally literally start rolling on the floor going "lololol." That sort of thing's so sad it's funny! :

Dark Beasts, cool Skill Cape, potentional new high lvl Slay monsters, ... + Overall level and experience :thumbsup: Whats the point in dark beasts? In fact, theres no point in training slayer at all besides it's 99 benifit. Sorry for the double post but I only just saw this and can't leave it unresponded! Slayer not only just gets you another skill up, it practically gives people a way of life. And if killing beasts while hitting 15% more often and 15% harder while getting Dragon Boots and Whips and Dark Bows and uncountably large numbers of rune items along the way isn't worth it for you then by all means have fun sitting at your one monster hitting away for 2-4 levels at a time nice and slowly while I get up 5 levels at a time, and faster due to my attack bonus from Slayer mask, and make huge profits from the drops I get. Whats the point in 85+ slayer? Dark Beasts, cool Skill Cape, potentional new high lvl Slay monsters, ... And Abyssal Demons. :P

They're waaaay worth picking up if you want to train Summoning, and even if you don't you might want to some time in the future. Even for a gold charm spending half and extra second picking it up is well worth the 60xp you get, and for crims/blues it's 300/700xp per charm and they're just begging to be picked up. The only time I've left charms on the floor is if I was boss hunting and had better things to pick up + knew they wouldn't add up to much when stacking. I've never left a crimson/blue charm on the floor to date in my memory however.

Why are you talking about the shield when this thread is talking about rubies...? The beast is being killed a lot by people using ruby bolts (e) to hit 100s with their specs frequently. Lots of people hunt it because of the really expensive drops. Why would the use and cost/availiability of the shields people wear affect them using ruby bolts to hunt the beast?? :wall: Anywho , On topic, it's not actually the best method, my mate's found an easier way involving certain vunerabilities to the beast so when these are known to the wider public people will start using less Ruby bolts. However in the short term maybe a small investment would be worthwhile lol.

Nice guide, I've tried using Graahk and it's really good. Why do you suggest going under all those trees in your routs though when you can just run through the clear patch by the water...? It makes it unneccessarily longer.

Do I need to take in Pray pots or did I do something wrong? Because in the 3rd fight I blessed 2 graves then realised I was at 0 prayer.... Is that just from blessing the graves or what?

Oh so that's why that one's worth killing lol. I thought it was just a one-off kill reward for some xp. Does Corp drop that too or is it only that?? :shock: EDIT: Woah just realised that's at 15m! Nice one! :thumbsup:

It's rare but not technically a one-off, just good luck. Although it most likely won't happen to you again. ;)
