I guess I kinda do kill for comodities, I make most of money and get most of my herbs and gems and such from Slayer, and then get coal and logs from MTK.

Nice guide! I just watched a view videos and realised that seeing as range is so much easier to predict than mage that it would be best if I just kept mage prayer on until I saw him rear up, then switch to range, then back to mgae after it hits. It made it a lot simpler for me lol.

Probably just playing other games that I'd probably just be spending more and more money on lol. :roll: I don't turn down doing anything just because I want to play RS, so it would just be a matter of how I use my spare time (time when I'm not socializing/working/eating/sleeping and don't really want to go out.) I wouldn't spend it studying that's for sure, so yeah, I'd either be playing a different game or perhaps spending more time talking to my family. :?

They're obviously just part of the map that hasn't been drawn/released yet and they'll undoubtedly move into it at some point with a new update. :roll:

I know this is fairy nooby/newby but if anyone has ever had a better Fire Giants task without getting a rare (d med, spear, shield, dstone) drop then I'd like to see it lol: (I started with 200 fires and 195gp, and the drops start down from the vials down + the 7 crims)

Any gathering skill (primary) still does, mining, woodcutting, fishing being the main 3. Any making skill (secondary skill) does not. Not technically correct. Runecrafting still makes money, just less than before. Also, a few fletching methods can make money/lots of junk, same with smithing (cannonballs.) There are probably other examples too, but this is just off the top of my head.

This was a good read and he brings up a good point. I remember, when I got to 92 fletching, that I could actually make a profit from it, and people would buy yew longs just to alch them to get mage xp. The old unofficial fletching guild in Yanille is long gone now along with so many other skills. Although I actually prefer the combat side of RS, I prefered being able to dip in and out of skilling to make a bit of money and talk to other skillers at the same time. However, I really think that with the new PvP feature there will be an increased demand for various things that have been in recession for some time now. However to think that people will be able to make money from fletching yew longs again is a bit far fetched. With PvP: Sharks will probably go up even more, along with potions and rune armour. Combat runes will go up, but the rise of laws/nats/cosmics etc is questionable. I beleive that due to the power of rune crossbows now, bolts will go up more than arrows, and shield will become more useful for rangers. I really wish we could get back to that (not perfect but good enough) equilibrium between killers and skillers that there was before all the RWT updates, and can only hope that PvP will restore that slightly.

:wall: ive done quest but did it so long ago ive forgotted about it thought they stayed there :o oh and why do people mage metal dragons if they have 70+ range a rune crossbow and 84 range owns all metals but i see many people using mage and taking x2 my time :lol: Why do people with 70+ atk/str not just melee them instead...? It's sooo much faster! Anyways, on topic, I tihnk he meant Clan Wars instead of castle wars, and although I've never hunted green dragons myself I'd always choose to avoid the Wilderness/take good rev avoiding kit with me.

If you can't see it, it's quickchat -> items -> i got an item -> "oxidised". Possibly PvP armour? Oxidised can mean rusted irl so maybe it's a degraded new armour, either way it's definitely new! :shock: EDIT: I thought I might give this topic a bit more discussion worth. My mate and I were discussing what it could be, and think that perhaps considering it's a full set then maybe it's too much to be PvP rewards? But then what could it be? Dropped only by monsters in PvP worlds perhaps? Or a later update of some other month?

I remember seeing people selling cosmic runes for 300gp!! :shock: so when I found a couple on the floor I ran over and sold them, getting me (don't ask how I remember this) a total of 1014gp! : I thought I was so darn rich lol.

I find it expensive and quite annoying and although I need range xp I'd rather get it differently lol.
