The USA guy was directly in front of the keeper so was in play and interfering with play and offside. Also the ref was alright actually. The 3 sendings off were deserved. Agreed Phillip. I think De Rossi needs a head check. To do that, in a world cup :shock: He should be sent home on 2 accounts: 1) Extreme foul play. 2) Idiocy.

Excellent advice. I think I recall somewhere actually selling you cases with the CPU only fitted, to avoid this problem. It's something to seriously consider if you don't have, shall we say, the most delicate hands. :-#

Yeah, technically through on goal + last man = automatic red. not exactly malicious, as you say, but warranted. I'd fancy Ghana to get through, but like Arctic said, because of the mass amount of yellows, Ghana are consequently missing a lot of their players for the U.S. match. It'll be interesting to see whether the depth of their squad can cut it. Although, it does mean we're likely to see Pimpong starting :D

I don't think exploring the reasons for cheating was the author's intent. he was just conveying his personal experience with the issue. If that's the case, it just makes the article even more mundane IMO.

I was doing nothing of the sort. I was merely initiating a discussion to highlight the hypocrasy of the thread author. As to which, I received an unfounded, uncalled for insult. Perhaps you should read posts, instead of reading into them.

The author seems to neglect a massive part as to why the cheating community exists. For many of the creators/instigators of cheating programs, it was merely because they wanted to put their java skills to the test. RuneScape, being a browser-plug in game, was the ideal game in which to test it in. The influx of cheaters and macroers were merely a by-product of this testing. As for the article itself, well, I'd have to say it's one of the least impressive I've read. I can't seem to get past the whole "I cheated - I banned" theme. You see threads like this everyday, and I fail to see why this article is any different (and believe me, I've tried to engross myself in the emotive language, but to no avail). Sorry, but a bad review on these weeks article from me. :(
