Yes it would. Thrust is what matters. The speed the plane is going over the ground is irrelevant, the air going over the wings is what's important. In the end the wheels will be spinning twice as fast as they normally would, but the plane would sitll take off.

It's amazing the places on the internet I all of a sudden remember when it comes time to study for finals. Anything to procrastinate, hah. Just (March, anyways) restarted on Nazjatar after a little over a year not playing.

Nope, been years and years now since I've played, and a little over one since I last logged in. Actually I haven't even posted here in 8 months, I was just cleaning out my favorites list and figured I'd pop in one more time :P I sold my party hats+masks on ebay so theres really no reason for me to ever log in again, and the whole reason I joined this site in the first was for Arenascape back when that game started.

!!! This game is fantastic. I haven't enjoyed a game this much in such a long, long time. I lost faith in gaming, but damn this is fun stuff. I love the changes, just about everything is perfect, and the stuff that isn't is damn close :P . Religion is fun stuff. The second after it was installed I fired it up, chose the Arabs and 3 hours later I realized I had to do something 2 hours earlier :x. I think it took me 7 hours total (over a few days) to finish that one game. The only bad thing is how much of a time-sink this game can be. I don't care so much for the multiplayer though.

Its been "out" since the 8th. You just need to go shopping at better stores. I downloaded the demo a while ago but havent even installed it yet, the game looks pretty cool but if its not to my tastes I don't want AoK memories to be tainted :P It was released on the 18th in the US, it's not out in Europe yet, due for release november 4th. Installing the trial as we, err, post, I guess. Note the use of quotation marks ;) (scene releases often predate the real release date) And I don't think theres much sense in pirating it either if you like multiplayer RTS at all.

Yeah, I think a lot of us here have just outgrown this place. Oh well, I still don't think I'll stop looking in anytime soon, looking doesnt take much time, especially with the lack of topics here :P. Finding one worth posting something quality in is tough stuff though.

Maybe some more people will finally recognize how great Opera is. I've used it for a long time now, and everything else feels so lackluster compared to it.

Comparing the Revolution to the Virtual Boy is pretty lame, I mean at least this thing has a shot at success. 1, Its in more colors than red and black. 2, you don't have to shove your face into it. Thats enough right there.

Only because it'd be really hard to eat while having both hands full of controller, especially when one has to be pointed at the TV.

Could be fun, and thats all I care about anymore really. However, it could also suck and be a complete chore to "play" with, and be a miserable failure (but I dont think so).

I have restrained myself from buying an iPod up to this point in time, because of worries that I would never actually use it. However. That thing is sexayyyy and sexiness overrides usefulness.
