  1. That was the most awesome thing I've ever heard rofl...
  2. Jagex said in BTS that this was the penultimate cave goblin quest, not the final one. Good. Then they can finish the more interesting series, though I admit this one was pretty incredible.
  3. All dragons heal pretty fast. Don't worry, 175 is the correct HP. Monday, November 12, 2007 Added Skoblin (level-15) Added Snothead (level-35) Added Snailfeet (level-45) Added Mosschin (level-55) Added Redeyes (level-65) Added Strongbones (level-75)
  4. Note: MIS is a new abbreviation I am trying to spread. It means Monster Info Scan, a phrase which means Monster Examine. SPREAD THE WORD! MIS is easier to type. :) Here you go, Ginger... PS - Kudos to Jagex for FINALLY putting yellow text on MIS!!
  5. Saturday, November 10, 2007 Added Anja and Hengel (level-2) - both in a house upstairs in Rimmington, same stats as a level 2 man or woman
  6. No, it's not coming. Good point as to why a J-mod would have it. Unless they need to report someone before banning them (paper work like? ) btw here is the right click option of a random player for a pmod Tyler, they made that char for reasons of example pics..they can make em not show up on hi scores. Sorry, my P-Mod friend just reminded me that P-Mods only got right-click report a few months ago. I'd forgotten. Anyways, your idea about paperwork... I guess that makes sense. Or maybe it's just a thing where Jagex doesn't want P-Mods to have a feature they don't? Lol.
  7. Player mods can only right-click report in the chat, not in the game area. Also, why would a JAGEX MODERATOR need a right click report? They have other systems and reporting would be useless to them. Perhaps this does mean a right click report abuse is coming.
  8. Like I (and the knowledge base!!) said... you can't do anything while you're assisting. >.
  9. About time I post a topic here... I've heard too many people thinking the Assist System will ruin RuneScape; that people won't want to raise their skills any more, etc. Yes they will. The Assist System is basically a safe trading system. If you'll notice, 99% of the actions that can be done with the Assist System were possible by trading. It changes VERY little, except that trust is no longer needed for the sort of things the Assist System allows. First of all, "but level 3 with 1 cook can cook shark without ever raising cooking now!". Do you think I'm going to stand next to the stove while some level 3 cooks sharks for 5 hours? NO. Good luck finding someone who will. Plus, he STILL needed me to help him. If I weren't there (or another player with high cooking), he couldn't cook the shark. You cannot earn more than 30,000 XP per day with the Assist System! So it cannot be abused like this. Also, while you're assisting someone, you cannot do anything. This will not double XP rates. You CANNOT use combat spells or teleports! No ice barrage and tele-block at level 50 magic. Here's a breakdown of the advantages and disadvantages of the Assist System: Runecrafting If you and a friend that's high level Runecrafting (say 91+ and you're 60) run at the same time, you can BOTH get double natures! However, this only lets more natures into the game at once... you will not get any XP! So that's somewhat of a deterrent to balance it out. Crafting No change. Woodcutting No change. Fletching No change. Fishing No change. Construction No change. Farming Potentially advantageous with the assist system as BOTH players can use their patches to grow high-level herbs, even if one doesn't have the skill level. Hunter No change. Magic I found this useful, because of Spellbook swap. With the assist system, you can use pretty much every Lunar spell except the teleports. Other than that, not much change. Spellbook swap is pretty much the ONLY thing that was un-achievable through trade. Mining No change. Smithing No change. Cooking No change. Herblore The ONLY change is with a few potions whose ingredients are untradable (e.g. nightshade for Weapon poison++), since rather than the assisting person having to gather nightshade, you can get it yourself... because it's untradable. For all the skills with "no change", it's actually SLOWER than normal, because it ties up TWO people at once. Let's use woodcutting for the example: rather than one person chopping the logs and giving them to his friend later, while his friend does something else... one player chops and the other stands there doing nothing. So as you can see, the assist system barely changes anything that couldn't be achieved by trade: MINOR things in magic and herblore... except farming, which could potentially be useful. Hopefully this clears up some things for you. Also, here's a tip: read the knowledge base article before you talk about something you have no experience with. ;) http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarti ... cle_id=536
  10. db986 - no new info Ginger, I think you said you were wanting to update Tarn's Lair... here's a list of all Tarn's Lair monsters... INCLUDING MAPPED LOCATIONS! If you want, make the map neater and update it with the levels. ;) The bestiary should be checked and HP corrected / missing monsters added (click guide in my sig for HP). Bleh. You know how to do your job. Anyways, here you go: PS - This only has the skeletons and zombies, it does NOT include Terror dogs, or the mini-quest monsters (since the Bestiary is all set with those... for now).
  11. Sunday, November 04, 2007 Added Zombies (level-67 and 95) I KNEW I missed something from Tarn's Lair!!
  12. HALF-FULL JUG OF WINE is the rare and cannot be reproduced anymore. Unfermented wines are perfectly normal and are NOT rare. Nothing to worry about.
  13. Tip on how to protect yourself: When downloading executable things, reverse engineer them before running them. If they contain viruses, overwrite them 15 times.
  14. What you should do is use Linux, not Windows. Then you are invincible to viruses and keyloggers.
  15. Don't report it to Jagex, report it to the W3C...
  16. Use a disc instead... that way you'll have a "system recovery" disk if you ever need it... not that Linux will crash of course... but maybe there'll be a mob fight and your computer will get shot.
  17. I can tell you the problem - you're using Windows. Go to Task Manager and see if there's any memory-intensive programs running. That's about all I can tell you... otherwise back up everything and try system recovery. EDIT: Have you restarted your computer since Firefox crashed? Could be a memory leak or something. If not, restart it to see it that helps.
  18. You just had some stream operators reversed, and a few semi-colons where they shouldn't be, and none where they should have been. Here's your complete, fixed code: #include using namespace std; int main() { int age; char firstName[20]; char middleName[20]; char lastName[20]; int number = 7; int number2; cout << "What is your age?" << endl; cin >> age; cout << "What is your first name?" << endl; cin >> firstName; cout << "What is your middle name?" << endl; cin >> middleName; cout << "What is your last name?" << endl; cin >> lastName; cout << endl; cout << "You are: " << age << " years old, "; cout << "your full name is: " << firstName << " " << middleName << " " << lastName << " and "; cout << "your initials are: " << firstName[0] << middleName[0] << lastName[0] << "!" << endl << endl; cout << "Guess a number between 1 and 10: "; cin >> number2; if (number2 == number) cout << "You are right!" << endl; if (number2 < number) cout << "Nope, it's too low." << endl; if (number2 > number) cout << "Nope, it's too high." << endl; cout << endl; return 0; }
  19. He's not lying, it's real. Quite odd.
  20. Yay, I guessed the HP correctly! :D I added you to credits for the max hit though: http://www.runeuniverse.us/npc.ws?id=95 I'm sorry but I can't add your image to my guide though, if that was your idea. First of all, I have a strange policy where I require myself to have scanned the monster myself, on my account. Secondly, it's in jpeg format and I don't use jpeg. Thanks for posting that anyways, that screenshot's definitely welcome on the guide. :)
  21. Oops, I forgot to say, I added the monsters from the Back to my Roots quest last week. ;) EDIT: Actually I did say that two posts up... :wall:
  22. I think the dying update will be more beneficial than not. Ape Atoll monkeys is one thing... as long as you can get back there quickly enough, you have less worry of other players taking your items.
  23. That's because it still uses the old formula.
  24. The item is actually called Redberries which is why your search yielded no results for Redberry. http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=1331 Mods, lock please. ;)
