  1. The entrance to Rashiliyias' Tomb is located on the northeast corner of Karamja. It plays an important role in the Shilo Village Quest and is only accessible with a bone key. You also need a Beads of the Dead necklace, both of which are created during the quest. The tomb is filled with Undead Ones and is multi-combat so be wary when traversing. This is where you come to fight the three forms of Nazastarool and acquire the remains of Queen Rashiliyia. <-- Uhh, you don't need the beads after the quest. But you do need the key. The one thing that's always annoyed me about RuneScape is keys. There are SO many of them and the keyring was certainly a welcome addition to the game. But it only stores some keys, not all of them. One key that grabs my particular attention is the Bone key, from the Shilo Village quest. You must have it in order to enter the dungeon, however, if you lose it after the quest... you can't get it back! This is annoying. Why deny access to a nice, out of the way dungeon full of undead creatures? To counter an argument based on "you weren't here for it so you shouldn't get it" (e.g. holiday items): EVERY player gets this key if they do the quest. The problem is that if you discard it, you can't get it back. Also, if another player has the key, and they unlock the door, it will stay open for a few seconds during which you can slip in as well, without the key. But you shouldn't have to rely on another player for that. To counter an argument based on "it's a useless place so who cares": admittedly, there are better places to train. But not everyone goes places because of how useful they are. I'm not the only player that enjoys out-of-the-way for whatever reason, be it to alch, or even just relax. And Jagex lets us climb to the top tower in Ardougne south bank... and I can tell you right now that's certainly more useless than the tomb of Rashiliyia.
  2. Due to me complaining to Mod Mark, POHs got the ability to store naval outfits in the costume box. :) I'll also complain to him about the bone key next time he gets on and is paying attention. :P
  3. To the above poster: JPEG is bad, don't use it. Those pictures you took have been ruined by its evils. :( Also, here's the rest of the pictures you need: NOTE: Please let me know when you've saved ALL 26 of these so I can delete them from my server as I don't usually keep pictures in that area. I haven't put the names of them in my post here as the filenames correspond to the names of the potions. Enjoy! [hide=][/hide]
  4. The fighting calculator shows incorrect HP for: Bronze dragon, Iron dragon, Steel dragon, King black dragon and Kalphite Queen. Click my sig for the correct HPs. Also, the level 42 white knights are 55 HP, and the rest are 52. The calculator says 53 so that needs to be changed somewhere.
  5. You clearly don't understand how RuneScape's internals work then. The item that is lent to people is NOT your item. When you lend an item, say an Abyssal whip (internal item ID #4151), a copy of it (as a completely different item, it's not even an actual Abyssal whip anymore) is created. I don't know its ID number yet and can't be bothered looking. Anyways, YOUR item remains on your account, only inaccessible. The worst that can happen is that people can dupe items and use them for training (they can't trade them though). So your "warning" is pointless. Take the Draynor Bank robbery video for example. The item in that video is NOT a blue partyhat. It's a copy of it, which is untradable and cannot be worn. Therefore it is worthless, so if any player ever happened to find some absolutely obscure way of obtaining it... it would be entirely useless to them.
  6. Good point, that's been changed to "0". Monday, July 14, 2008 Added Goblin (level-2) to the unscannable monsters list Added Chaos druid (level-13) to the unscannable monsters list NOTE: These are from the Learning the Ropes tutorial quest, not the regular monsters (those have different HP).
  7. Monday, July 14, 2008 Added Skeletal Wyvern (level-158)
  8. Yes, I do. Here's a page on my website with the correct search parameters to show all POH monsters. http://www.runeuniverse.us/npc.ws?keywo ... ype=Search Go ahead and take any textual information you need straight from their Bestiary entries. (This makes it easier for me as that'd be a lot to re-post) PS - You might be wise to add to all the POH monsters' entries that they give NO combat XP either. PPS - I assume you want to kill me by now, but you forgot the level 48 baby red's examine. :D "Young, but still dangerous." PPPS - The POH monsters of which there are "real world" equivalents do NOT look the same. All (I think) POH ones have a collar whereas the wild ones do not, so don't use the same images if you're concerned about the detail. If not, they pretty much look the same otherwise.
  9. Slayer XP is NOT always equal to HP. Skeletal wyverns are one of these monsters for which that applies. Don't worry 200 is the correct HP and 210 is the correct Slayer XP. Also, level 158 wyverns...? As far as I know, the only wyverns are level 140. I'll check the cave and see if Jagex added new ones, though. EDIT: Apparently they do exist! Also, I had to kick one to death to respawn it to make certain I had the correct HP. Ended up getting to 8 HP and teleporting the moment I killed it, then had to trek all the way back! (This time I took an Abyssal whip. Mwahaha!) Naturally, here is the monster examine. All data about them is the same except for combat level (HP, Slayer XP, examine info, etc).
  10. I have more than necessary. Here you are: Name: Baby red dragon Level: 48 Hitpoints: 50 Max Hit: 5 (Melee) Slayer task: Red dragons Slayer XP: 50.0 Members? Yes Aggressive? Yes Retreats? No Quest? No Poisonous? No Immune to poison? No Race: Dragon Size (game tiles): 2x2 (4 total tiles) Habitat/Location: Brimhaven Dungeon Drops: [*:2e8xo6ev]Always: Babydragon bones Examine Text: Young but still dangerous. Notes: Can be trained on for prayer XP, but players more commonly kill baby blue dragons for that as they are easier to access. Happy slaying but watch out for their mothers! Can be killed for Red dragon Slayer tasks. Name: Baby red dragon Level: 65 Hitpoints: 65 Max Hit: 6 (Melee) Slayer task: None Slayer XP: 0 Members? Yes Aggressive? Yes Retreats? No Quest? No Poisonous? No Immune to poison? No Race: Dragon Size (game tiles): 2x2 (4 total tiles) Habitat/Location: A player-owned house dungeon Drops: None Examine Text: Young, but still dangerous. Notes: Can be added to your player owned house's dungeon at level 82 construction. They do NOT count for Red dragon Slayer tasks.
  11. Well, you should look into changing that. They ARE in fact monsters, POH or not. Monsters are monsters, not house items, therefore they aren't really related to construction at all. You buy them anyways, rather than construct them. And besides, when it comes to the POH monsters, the construction guide is quite uninformative. "A level xxx monster" doesn't tell me much. I'm sure some people would like to know its combat level, hitpoints, max hit, what it looks like and what it can do. It isn't really that much work to put them in, and if you feel it is, you can always ask the admins to hire me as a Bestiary editor to help out.
  12. *Dramatic music plays as Jard Y Dooku enters the thread!* Time to clarify this whole max hit nonsense. I've told you and Short before, Prime CANNOT hit 60. And Short refuses to look at the image proving it's not 60. :D Anyways, fix your guide with the correct hits. I don't care who says they've been hit over what these monster examines say. They are lying or mistaken. Jard Y Dooku, out.
  13. No, like I said in my first post, they do not drop bones. Also, you messed up the notes again so let's clarify: Level 48 The regular baby red dragon. 50 Hitpoints. IS a Slayer monster. Can NOT be added in a player-owned house dungeon, exists ONLY in Karamja dungeon. Drops baby dragon bones Level 65 The POH baby red dragon. 65 Hitpoints. Is NOT a Slayer monster. Can ONLY be added in a player-owned house dungeon, exists NOWHERE else. Drops NOTHING. Hopefully that will finally clarify it this time...
  14. My website is now back up so the guide should be working fine. Also, an update! Jagex FINALLY fixed Prime and Supreme's max hits (I was 100% right on my guesses, too) along with Ahrim's. So I have uploaded new scans of the Dagannoth Kings and all the Barrows brothers. Enjoy!
  15. took the time?!?!?!?!?! what are you talking about.... if (running == true) { chanceOfSuccess -= .04; } Yes I know it wouldn't be that simple, but thats basically all they would need to add. it wouldn't take more then 5 minutes. Once again some 1 assumes something about programming that they clearly have no idea about... *There is no way that JAGeX would take the time to sabotage a mini-game like this. It's not a funny joke, and not in the scope of the game's goals. They think they have better things to do. 1. Eww, K&R indentation. 2. Redundant. chanceOfSuccess = (running) ? 0.68f : 0.64f; That's a much cleaner/better way to write that code. :)
  16. Great! Combat levels are now fixed, time for the bold part, though. :)
  17. well first off, i didn't say "tie ALL ends" -because i agree, that would be [developmentally delayed]. You must remember a time, several years ago, when there were just the right amount of teasers, now jagex has gone pretty much overboard(and unless we get MEP3 or RS3, i won't really be satisfied).i said tie "the" ends. in my post (somewhere in one of the sub-paragraphs, i mentioned there being nothing wrong with a few teasers, but lately -and my point stands there but then again, i'm not going to speak you down like i did to some other people, your a high level, you probably know the best out of anybody what lies unfinished. I have the utmost respect for high levels such as yourself, because as far as i am concerned, your a higher level than i'll ever be(sometimes it's hard to admit, but very true) however i have to say this about you accusing me of selfishness: Selfish? hardly. this is my first rant, ever (as you can probably tell). on the flip side, Many players feel the same way (as you can see from the posts i have gotten). while everybody is entitled to their opinion, i must say the Questline's mentioned in my first post are most certainely not "alive". they are DEAD. i'd have to read a quest guide for MEP2 to get refreshed on the story, that is ridiculous, you should know, you were probably around for plague city and biohazard in Rsc. You shouldn't judge people by their combat level. I'm level 135 yet one of my best friends is level 92 and we get along great. I don't act like he's lower class than me and he doesn't treat me like a god. Anyways, back on topic - the loose ends really do need to be tied up. There can still be teasers, but as you said, there's too many of them and they do seem to spend more time on teaser dev than content dev.
  18. Anyone want me to make an anagram brute-forcer? :D
  19. You definitely deserve a second chance. If you truly want to redeem yourself, you can. Good luck, comrade!
  20. Just put the old cache files into the directory it created. Different Windows OS's use different directories for the cache, I believe, but the contents of the files are the same so this should work fine.
  21. I would. :) But since I do not advocate putting your password on any public computer, I will not help you to compromise their security, sorry. Even though doing that to a Windows computer that you have physical access to is an easy, 10 minute task... Anyways, your best option would be to get your home computer working again - don't risk getting your account stolen.
  22. Much easier solution should be tried first. Unistall the driver on there now AND then install the latest driver. How the hell does a laptop fan have a driver? Epic. :D And most likely the sound is just normal fan operation.
  23. I don't know much about ISP's in the UK as I don't live there, but if you can, try to find a good ISP that uses fibre optics. It is not distance limited like ADSL and it's faster than it and cable.
  24. Firefox just uses a lot of memory. If you aren't using Firefox 3, upgrade to it now: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ It has many improvements over v2; starts faster, loads pages faster, uses less memory, and rarely ever crashes.
  25. Just a small notice, my website is currently down right now as it is being migrated to a new server. This means you won't be able to view any of the monster examines on my guide for the time being. My hosting company says it should be back up within 2 to 4 hours. Until then, cheers!
