I know it's the most expensive, but I'd like the HP xp as well, and I'd rather do that than alching or superheating. Hp xp sucks. You will max hp out before any other skill and then get wasted hp xp. Doesn't bother me to max out hp first.

How many strikes did you use per hour?

I went from 91-94 and didn't burn a single one, so at about 90, it's worth it to start with monks.

With 75 mage, what would be a good option to train mage via killing monsters? Metals? Avianses? Anything else? What would be a good spell to train with?

If it's more than 5 steps away (sometimes even if it's that far), a veteran of the Rogue's Den will move it closer for you.

Use Penguin Points every week towards summoning, that helps quite a bit. Also, just go and do some slayer to get your charms.

Good luck on quadruple 99's! I, myself, am going for 99 mining and smithing at the same time.

Well you'd burn quite a few monks with only 66 cooking. If you think you can manage it though, go ahead.

Personally, I used the pyramid because it was more fun than the Barbarian course, but I think the Barbarian course is faster. The failure rate for the pyramid is very high at that level. I can't count the number of times I failed the pyramid vs. the number of times I actually made it to the top. I'm not sure about the lap bonus thing though.

The hardest part is the first boss, and even that's not really that hard. Bring a DDS and a superset (along with a whip, if you have it) to kill it, then switch to ranging for the last three. It's really easy. Just bring some food for the first boss (I didn't use one single piece of food after the first boss). BTW, my stats were worse than yours when I did it.

To me, a mining cape is a mining cape. If you have only 99 mininig, that's awesome, but if you have multiple 99's that's even better because you've stuck out to get 99 mining plus another skill, even if it is "easy". My first 99 was cooking, and it's not because it's easy, it's because I like the cape and I like the skill. So do what you want, if you prefer to keep it untrimmed, that's your prerogative, if you want it trimmed (I personally think trimmed looks a lot better), then do it! This game is about your achievements, not about what people think of your achievements. Good luck!

Lol I like to have things to fall back on. I finished my calcs. I'm going to play SC until I have 47 tools, then I'll stop playing SC and get crafting to 80 via Superglass Make, smithing to 80 via smelting steel bars and then smithing with SC hammers, woodcutting to 80 via willows with SC hatchets, fishing to 80 via flyfishing in Shilo, and Hunter to 80 via red sallys. This would be alternating days with mining, so I'd get 80 mining those days. This would make my SC a lot easier to get points, and keep me entertained. I'm hoping to reach 90 before I ship to basic. But with my life, we'll see how far I make it. I should reach the SC skills to 80's by time I ship too, hopefully. And yes Tanis, my brain never does shut off, that's why I don't go to bed til 1 or 2 a.m., even on school nights, or else I'll just lay there and think...and then that thinking leads to restlessness, which leads to even less sleep...however, I am tired and I have a busy day ahead of me, so I'll probably play SC tomorrow night.

This is what I do with my time...think of alternating plans...then if I need to, I can just jump around lol.

Hahaha your the first person to say that, I guess its normal for other people to use the word nerd :P Lol I guess. --- Ok, I got tired of having to world hop to find an open world (I didn't know there was so much competition for mining!), so I went to the Granite mine, and I think I'm going to stick with granite until 90. I got 75 tonight. When I hit 90, I think I'm going to switch to gold. That'll give me a nice chunk of change and some speed. Now to keep it from getting boring, I'm going to mine every other day. The days I don't mine I will be getting my Smithing, Crafting, Fishing, Woodcutting, and Hunter up to 80 for SC (WC and Smith will wait until I get SC tools for them), and then when I get those stats to 80, I'll be doing SC in between mining days. When I get enough hammers for 99 smithing, I will start smithing and mining, alternating skills each day. So I'm not sure when I'll get 99 mining or smithing.

About how many charms per hour could I expect at Waterfiends with my levels? Should I attempt them with my levels?

It's 10%, so it'd be 30k.

I don't think that trick works anymore. I seem to recall some people mentioning they couldn't do that.
