You don't need the requirements to start the quest, or get to the part where you can access Fairy Rings, which is very early in the quest.

It almost makes me laugh hearing people say they wasted time doing the event...it's a game, you're always wasting your time! Anyways, I liked the reward. It's a fun little break from you scaping to just go and have a little fun. Jagex isn't going to release new party hats, and that's almost what people are expecting out of them. The Holiday Events are now just a little fun, nothing to make your scaping any easier, so just have some fun, or don't do it.

Well, as I am the leader of the clan, I am the leader. I am the one the members usually go to with suggestions for the clans, or questions. I've also helped members with personal problems, as they feel comfortable enough coming and talking to me, and they usually say they feel better afterwords. I can't just sit back and do nothing, that gets boring.

Being the leader of a skilling clan, I feel a community is more important than power. We have a decent amount of members that have a strong bond with each other and we don't have power as far as clans go. And if you have power, but no community...well, you won't have power for long.

One trip was half way decent the other day we ended up alteast getting a drop tasset #11 :) But today was different I got invited to bandos and concidering I had an ags for the day it was perfect. So we go and crash a mass that kept insulting us at the door. So we go in and crash well one of our agser dc's and died with void we bless he hurrys back and we continue and fully crash them. Well as they are leeching us we get something sweet a HILT(11)! We were excited it was around kill 10 or so 6 man it was decent. We killed off the leechs finally and continued on our trip. We kept the world for 5 hours after 2 fail mass crashs and 3 legit teams. So we keep going along picking up people and some leaving usually a 6 man the whole way. Well after our leader goes and I am getting bored after the 4th hour and I am about to leave in one kill and then.....a chest(11)! Epic I was excited made for a sweet trip and as you can see by the chat I was asking if anyone wanted my pure sets \ Decided to stay because of that chest and finished the trip and ended with 5.5M and I was happy. Planning on Bandosing all weekend with turnpikes for some nice cash and fun. So wish me luck otherwise I'll be slaying when I'm not at Bandosing. Currently debating on 99 slayer or buying 99 prayer. I'm not sure yet. I've always been jealous of your 99 mining and smithing, btw. Your skills are really good! I couldn't kill a monster for that long, I'd get bored and log before that lol. I know granite's the best way for speed, but I'm looking for profit as well. And thanks for the spot recommendation. The horseshoe spot on Karamja is by far the best. You'd need a glory mounted on your wall in your POH, and you'll need your house in brimhaven. If you dont have those, thats already a waste of 60k lol. Is the POH way of teleing better than glorying to edge, then fairy ringing and whistle blowing?

I got 73 mining...I could have gotten 74 mining if I tried, but I did a lot of standing around at the bank doing nothing. I also changed my path. Instead of mining iron to 86 and then coal to 99, I'm mining iron until 80, selling it (I'll get about 4m), and then I'll mine gold in the Brimhaven Northwest mines until 99. I'll sell the gold ore I mine and buy iron and coal for 99 smithing (I'll still play stealing creation for the hammers, which will take about 65 hours). This way, I'll get 99 mining, 99 smithing, and money :thumbsup:. I did the calculations, and the mining will only take an additional 47 hours for nearly twice the amount of cash (I need to mine 170k gold. You can do the math!). So it'll take me about 9 months to get 99 mining and smithing. In 2 months, however, I will be gone for 2 and a half months at basic, and another nearly 2 months at ait, and then another month working on getting transferred to another unit 5 hours away from where I currently live to where I will be living, and moving. After that, I'll be in college, working, and raising my son and living on my own. My son's mother (who I'm not with anymore) will be living there as well, but she has a sister she's going to be staying with, so my RS playing time will go down, so don't hold me to 9 months. I expect to have 99 mining by June or July, August at the latest, of next year, and then 99 smithing 2-3 months later. We'll see how life goes.

Well the guide says to plant some sweetcorn and then use the scarecrow on the flower patch. So maybe you have to plant the corn before you place the scarecrow?

I recently read that gold is a good way to go with mining at level 80. 1) Where's the best place to mine gold in p2p? 2) How long does it take to mine 1k gold?

It's really up to you. Is that 5m worth being in the top 500?

Since I see you're level 49 agility now, the best for you is to grab an agility potion, and head up to the Wildy course. You only need to pot to enter the course, and you don't fail that much really. I got up from 49-61 via wildy course (the other 3 levels have been from quests). I'd bring a slash weapon (or a knife), your best d'hide, weight reducing clothes (boots of lightness, spotted/spottier cape, and/or penace gloves), and some cakes for food. If you're too scared of revs (which really aren't that big of a deal to me, as it's just a simple world hop if they try to attack you), you can try a PvP world, and you won't have to worry about revs, and only a rare PvPer.
