Personally I would expect a lv 106 to know where the slayer caves are (levels require time, time brings experience), just like you did. A fool will take critisim the wrong way (and end up insulting you), and since there are many "fools" playing this game, this sort of thing will probably happen more then once. I think you were quite polite, although one of the curses of the internet is that there is no way of knowing the tone of voice, and those questions could have been taken the wrong way. In answer to the question: I don't think you can be critical with everyone, and sometimes you will find people who just don't understand.

Make-X! Something they should have done a long time ago. The Assist System sounds interesting, as does the "Grand Exchange", I wonder how both of those will be implemented. I'm sure Jagex have carefully planned all quest story lines, but I feel that they are locked away in some draw. I don't think TB@JT have any time currently to release a quest with the same magnitude of MEp2. We still have a few months to go, I don't see a reason to get excited, yet...

I don't really like the idea, and I agree with The Platypus. F2p shouldn't get new capes. They already have many multi coloured capes, and if they wanted better clothing, they should become members. On the other hand, if it were members only, members don't need new capes. They already have a vast selection. If something looks good, it generally has good stats, and is hard to obtain. Frankly, 60 crafting is too low. If you make the capes hard to craft (75 crafting and 75 smithing?), and if you make them nontradable and members only, this might be a decent idea.

Very well thought out, but I still have some questions and suggestions: (I have skipped to page 8, so some of this may be already said. My bad.) How long will this skill take to level? I get a feeling it will be similar to Hunter, no idea why. As I understand it, this skill will be very cheap to train, with the only costs coming from having to buy the tools. Am I correct? Any plans for a guild for this skill? Probably located in the Digsite near Varrock. Could provide a shop for some of the tools you mentioned. What about including Keldagrim, the Fremmenik territories and the Kharidian Desert a bit more? After all, Desert Treasure starts and finishes there. (Perhaps include a "Main Digsite" somewhere in the desert.) How about introduction some sort of lucky amulet, increasing the chances of finding a bigger rock sample? Just an idea. Also, you say the fissures respawn every 30 seconds, similar to ore rocks. Wouldn't this make the skill incredibly hard to train in the first few weeks of its release? Finally, how about including some sort of race specific Archaeology. Something completely unrelated to anything you have suggested, but I feel that it should be included somehow. Special sites in Misthalin/Morytania/Tirannwn/Fedip Hills etc that reveal the history of Humans/Vampires/Elves/Ogres respectively. This idea needs some thought, but I don't think the Archaeology Skill would be complete without it.

Prayer is hardly used in BA (I don't think it can be used) so you wont have a problem.

Just something that was annoying me, should be you're (I think at least). Personally, I'm quite happy that I can log on to the game any time I want to, without the servers begin full. I completely agree with the fact that JaGeX, or more specifically Andrew Gower, are doing every they can for the game. Edit: A company should welcome constructive criticism, but not some idiotic rant made by someone on how range is too strong just because he died to one in the wilderness. And to be fair, most of the rants I've seen fit in the second category.

I don't think any npc owned shop sells sweetcorn, however you can buy apples from the Culinaromancer's Chest.

The tubers only have a chance of appearing once you hack a piece of jungle all the way to the ground, as in you cannot cut from that piece anymore. You also need a spade to dig it out. If you already knew all that: Tubers are quite rare, I suggest you just keep at it or buy one for 150k (not too sure on price) Edit: If you haven't already, just scan through this guide. It might be useful :)

Nope. You only need 15 agility to do Troll Stronghold (pre req for Desert Treasure) Level 53 theiving is needed for DT/Ghostly Robes.

You could add an anti-spam/auto-mute, regardless of whether you are using the auto talker or not. Something along the lines of: If you say exactly the same thing three times within five seconds, you are temporary muted for 30 seconds. If you continually do this, you will be muted for 10 minutes or so. Of course, the numbers can be changed.

By then it would be too late. Perhaps this could be expanded to all potions, showing you the amount of time left until your strength returns to your normal level after drinking a strength potion.

They mean five seconds of leaving your account logged on and leaving the computer (so your character is afk). In these 5-10 seconds, someone else could come, sit down next to your computer while you're away, and (theoretically) change your password. Highly unlikely, but you never know.

You misunderstood the suggestion. (Either that or I misunderstood it.) Only your character is visible in the black hole, so you would not be able to interact with anyone while in there. Also, I see no need for another "Disk of Returning" and even if something like that was needed, Jagex would make a new item and not reintroduce the Disks, they are not idiots. Where does joop mention the flashing blue icons? It seems to me like there is no reason for them to change. Again you misunderstood, you would be able to see both clan chats that you may be in at the same time, so you would not have to pick one or the other. Carelessness? Surely you get annoyed when you type out a long message, only to find you have forgotten that slash? Or at least, I know many people that do. Who would benefit from not having to use a slash when on clan chat? My Personal Views: Point 1- Nice idea, not the first time I have heard it. I'm sure many people would enjoy such a feature but I have heard that Runescape doesn't have the resources to implement it. It would cause great lag, and create more rants then complements. Point 2- Interesting idea, but I think it's unnecessary. Point 3- Completely agree, not sure why Jagex didn't think of this.

Wow. You have to love the reasoning and the whole people on Mars thing. Sending people to Mars has nothing to do with a java RPG. Using that logic: We can send people to the Moon so therefore we can end world hunger. It's a nice idea, but it simply cannot be done. Perhaps in RS3.

I think a few guides recommend that, using fire bolt with gauntlets should be fine. Personally, I'm not too sure about the armour either. It depends on what's available to you. Perhaps mystic top and bottoms with some sort of prayer helm and white boots and gloves? Someone else is going to have to help you with the armour.

First up, it's not that cruel- If you want to be able to use the best gloves in the game you're going to have to do some work. For Damis (Shadow Diamond)- Go in and kill his first form using any way you wish, he's easy. Once he's dead he will turn into his second form. At this point teleport out and restock on supplies. I suggest you use the best earth spell you can use against his second form, take a lot of prayer potions and mix and match armour for good prayer and magic bonuses. Then just go in and fire away with magic, making sure you keep drinking prayer potions. I don't see why you would die, teleport out if you run out of potions and take a ring of life. For Kamil (Ice Diamond)- First trip- Take good prayer bonus armour and go in and kill the ice trolls (protect from melee and take food too as the cold wind will damage you). Leave after the entrance it clear. Second trip- You want good magic attack/defence and prayer bonus, a few super restores, food and runes for the second best fire spell (second best since the cold lowers your stats, so you wont have the magic level to cast your best fire spell). He hits with magic and melee, I suggest get close to him and use protect from melee. Kill him. Third trip (optional)- If you're low in supplies and don't think you could make it around Ice Path, then teleport out now and restock. Otherwise, go up Ice Path and get that Ice Diamond.

Are you sure about their drop rate? I was there long enough to get +4k tokkul and my only drops were 16 obsidian rings.
