Okay so you saw the MSB is faster? Mel said slower? -.- If the seercull is the same speed as a crystal bow, then the mage short is faster, because the crystal bow is a hell of a lot slower then the mage short.
  2. Note: I'm just throwing ideas in the air, no matter how stupid they might sound... There could be a new cave in the digsite area that has creatures aligned to zaros? Might even be a whole part of that city of zaros, there are plenty of possibilities surrounding zaros. They could also do something related to the champion scrolls, not that you have to get a scroll, but defeat a new enemy there for which you won't need a scroll.
  3. But why should the achievement diary be restricted to existing content only? I think there will be some new (probably small) dungeons or something for higher achievements. I just hope one of the achievements will not be champion scroll...
  4. Exactly. People on this thread just seem to think of runescape and immediately dismiss the idea, but games will get better then real-life... If we (humans in general, not this generation) survive that long. I think it will present a lot of problems, because once virtual reality gets better then real-life, people will want to be on it all the time. But it will have to cost money and I think it will turn into a drug. People will do almost anything to get another hour of gameplay, which in turn will spawn more crime.
  5. I agree, I'm not really happy with this change to letters. When it was just articles I found it interesting to read (most of the time), but these letters don't really interest me at all... :?
  6. I don't know how much of a discount it is, but it's counts for all gloves (so that means you only need gloves 1 (the easy one)).
  7. I think defense rocks, so you have my vote for defense training. ;) Besides that, I don't really have any good advice, except training to continue training slayer... Oh and, don't forget, all questions go into help & advice.
  8. Hmmm, your story is all too true for me. Because I have taken several long-term breaks I have almost no one on my friendslist that is ever online and it can be kind of lonely. I guess I'll give it a shot. Raylifes. Cw, skiller, slayer.
  9. I don't have an answer for you, since it's been years since I last picked up my axe for some chopping, but maybe it would be helpful if you specified which kind of axe you are using, dragon or rune?
  10. He is right you know. Many people disregard slayer and just train on one monster for weeks at a time, trying to get the best exp possible, but slayer is really worth it. First of all, free extra exp! While gaining that exp in attack, strength or defense you will also get slayer exp. If you have a task that drops bones, even better. You would be training a melee skill, hp, prayer and slayer all at the same time. The exp will not be the best there is, but you are training one of the hardest skills ingame, so you can be proud of every single lvl you get. Besides exp there are other pro's. In my experience slayer monsters are great for drops. And through training slayer you will get a better understanding at what monsters give good exp or have great drops. And of course it keeps the boredom away (hopefully) because you keep fighting different monsters.
  11. And here yuo can find a more indepth answer: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=478642
  12. I find this tip.it guide to be quite good. This link brings you to the part where they tell about respawn times. Do be aware of this note: The time for implings to respawn varies based on many factors, much like monster respawns, so all times given are approximate. http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?page= ... tm#looting
  13. I feel it depends on the kind of monster you are planning to kill... If it is a high lvl monster with lot's and lot's of defense, go with the rune crossbow (this is because the rune crossbow has a higher higher accuracy, thus it works better against high def). If it is a weaker monster, like for example fire giants (they have very low defense), then your best bet is the magic short. I hope it helps.
  14. He should still be around, though he almost never posts anymore. Because of some real-life issues and because he has reached all his goals (or almost has, I don't know for sure and I'm too lazy to check) he is less active.
  15. sorry, when I read this it hadn't been answered yet.
  16. They used safe spots, which has been made harder with the recent update allowing large monsters to walk diagonally.
  17. You're not really making it easier for yourself...
  18. Since you have a map clue you don't need anything except a spade. You will want this section. http://tip.it/runescape/?page=treasure_trails.htm#maps

Well uh.... you get chinchompas from chinchompas. :P Red chinchompas sell for 600-700 each at the moment I believe. Besides chins there is always implings. I don't know if it is profitable, but I would say so since dragon implings can drop some very nice stuff. On the other hand, you don't want to use them for exp, they're terrible in that sense.
  20. Wrong... If your spell inflicted 8 damage, you get 28 exp (12+8x2). For Fire Strike, I use the formula MagicExp = 11.5 + 2*HitDone with a max possible hit of 8 that gives 27.5, which pretty much agrees with your number. Hope this helps Hehe, I didn't actually check if the base exp of 12 was correct so I just used his number. :-w
  21. Salarin resides in the Agility Dungeon near yanille and you need 67 agility to get to him. The only way to damage him is with strike spells (those lowest lvl spells in case you forgot). When he dies there is a chance he drops a sinister key. At another spot in this dungeon is a room with skeletons that you can only acces through a pipe. In that room is the sinister chest, which you can open once with a sinister key (key disappears after that). When you open the chest you are poisoned and receive: 2 Harralanders, 3 Ranarr weeds, 1 Irit leaf, 1 Avantoe, 1 Kwuarm, and 1 Torstol.
  22. Correct. I stopped playing for 172 days and wasn't a member anymore, but my 1.5 mill was gone when I came back on rs this week.
  23. correct me if I'm wrong, but at 90 wcing, don't you max out on speed at willows? And he is 75, I don't understand what your point is :?:
