Ummmm, I don't really have advice, except for variation... Just don't try to do it in one sitting, but just do a couple of hours of mining and smithing each day and use to rest to go to your friends or something, or if it has to be Runescape, just take some castle wars breaks or something like that. ;)

You have nothing to fear since you haven't filled in any e-mail addresses on your tif profile, but for people that have, it's only a matter of time (usually) before they start receiving these kind of e-mails. If you fill in your e-mail address on a forum or any site for that matter where it can be publicly viewed, you're just asking for spam. Or these kind of e-mails ofcourse, if it's a Runescape website. I truly have had more of these kind of e-mail then I can count. I always find it fun when they want you to either send or fill in your password, because I have an account just for those occasions. Raylifes2 with I think a password something resembling: Or something like that, I have it written down somewhere. The funny thing is, they always fall for it for some reason, which I means I can report their ip address to Jagex. I don't think Jagex ever does anything with it, but I can hope can't I.... :anxious:

I'm sorry to hijack your thread but I have a question of my own. I haven't done horror from the deep, nor have I ever killed a dagannoth (hehe, haven't seen one guy on this thread that spelled it right :P), so I have no knowledge of them. Some said you can stay there for ages, or at least a very long time with an full inventory of food. But I checked the Bestiary and found out these guys are lvl 92. Now I could very well be wrong, but won't these guys hit pretty hard on someone with 63 defense?

As far as I can tell you're not doing anything wrong, but you have to remember two things. First of all where the kitten is is random, so we can't tell you what crate to search or something. Second, where the meows are coming from doesn't tell in which crate/barrel it will be, so you just have to search each and every crate and barrel untill you find it. :wall: Good luck.

Actually, no.... First of all, my friends don't make fun of me, because they know I'm better at it and will just make them look stupid. Oh and, all my friends know I play Runescape. Well... I wouldn't say all, with some people I just don't talk about games, so they won't know, but I'm proud to play runescape. I always just say I value gameplay over graphics and they respect how I feel about it. Ofcourse you could argue that runescape doesn't have great gameplay, but that just an opinion. I mean, I even play nes games from time to time ( ff3 ftw :P ). Anyways, I find it kind of sad how so many people are afraid to tell anyone they play runescape because they don't want to be made fun of.

Sometimes I give some stuff away. In the past when newbies asked me to guide them somewhere I would give them a couple of k's when we got there for fun, I mean, it wasn't much but they still liked it and that's what it's about. Recently while thieving the fur stall I met some newbie. I dropped all furs and he would pick them up and collect a big amount to sell in varrock.... We chatted a bit and we added each other. I expected him to beg, as all newbies seemingly do, but he just chatted, asked for advice and had fun. He never once asked me for something, he died, but instead of asking me for stuff he just asked for a good method to gain money and get back on his feet. A little while ago when I passes white wolf mountain I found a death-pile. Full addy g and some other random things. I waited 15 minutes for the guy to reclaim it, but he never came. I just found the pile, I didn't see him die, so I had no way of giving it back. So I got on my way and stored it in my bank, wondering what I should do with it. Some time later I completed contact! and was happy since I had heard some people say it was very hard.. I was so happy I decided that since he was the first newbie on my friendslist who had not begged in any way, I would give the addy to him. So I called him over and told him to follow me when he saw me at the bank, as I didn't want people to see I gave him free stuff, since that would attract the newbies like well, newbies to high lvls... :P We had a few laughs about how I was supposed to be a pervert luring him to a quiet spot... And I gave him the addy g, 300k, a rune scimmy and some mith stuff I got from drops, as he couldn't yet use the addy. That just made his day, or week. It's no big amount to me, but as long as he is happy I'm happy. I then decided I would try to be a bit kinder to newbies as not all of them are begging little fiends. Usually when I'm busy and someone at falador asks me to bring him to the grand tree I just say sorry and leave. I think from now on I will try a bit harder to be nice to them and just make some time to bring them there. In my experience it's things like this give me a sparkle of hope. That by being kind we can kind of spread the wub around. :P

I have absolutely no idea which iexplorer version is currently in use so I'll just assume 6, if it's different I hope the way to disable java-script is about the same. 1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options. 2. Select the Security tab. 3. Click the Custom Level button. 4. Scroll to the Scripting section. 5. Under Active Scripting, select the Enable or the Disable option. 6. Click OK. 7. Click the Yes button. 8. Click OK. 9. On your toolbar, click the Refresh button.

What browser are you using, because I don't know for sure where in iexplorer you can disable javascript, but that's what you have to do. In firefox you go to tools ---> options ---> content There you disable javascript and tadaa, your bookmarks should work again. ;) Edit: I could be mistaken, but I think once in a while the address to a world changes, so you would have to bookmark it again. As I said, I could be mistaken, but I recall my bookmark not working anymore after a 6 month break and when I remade the bookmark it worked again.

I don't think that idea will ever pass, since it's such a clear rip off. :shame: Not saying I don't like it, I mean, I'm a big fan of diablo 2, but I just don't think it would happen.

Crafting nature runes is one of if not the fastest money making method. You could always merchant, but that's not something I really enjoy. If you have some nice melee stats killing green dragons can be very profitable, although it is being reduced because more and more people go out to slay them, causing the price on bones and hides to go down. So for money, your best bet is to stick to nat crafting through the abyss. As for lvling, like I said, pc. Pc stands for pest control, you know, that minigame where you have to take down portals with a team. If you are in a pest control clan, which requires you to already a pretty high lvl, it's the fastest combat exp in the game and free of charge too.

I can tell you what you're doing wrong, posting it in general p2p. :P But anyways, for money, there are so many different ways it isn't hard to make a couple of million and for combat lvls, pc. ;)
