I never liked their masks. But then you have other musicians wearing masks, like Buckethead. He's just awesome. Buckethead doesnt wear a mask, that's his face \ I though Buckethead was always a chicken and needed something to cover up his beak. That's why he wears a mask. His dad was a rooster and his mom was a hen you know...

Those are like two of my favorite movies ever. I just got finished watching Hot Fuzz for like the twentieth time. It's pretty much the most perfect movie ever.

I disagree. I think this album is between mediocre and rubbish. I think there was maybe two songs that really stood out. Not to put you down or anything...I just needed someone to quote. :P Shame, I had high hopes for this album.

I've been listening to them a bit on youtube/myspace recently. Very cool. I'm thinking colors is the next CD I'm going to buy. Colors is amazing . You need to stop what your doing and go buy it right now.

I actually enjoyed Vol.3 more than I did Iowa or their self-titled. All three are good albums but I think Vol.3 was more mature musically for them and I enjoyed it more than I did the other two. I am looking forward to All Hope is Gone though. What about the ending of Click? It was supposed to be a comedy but by the end of the movie half of the theater was trying to hold in their tears. :lol: :lol: :lol: :| :| :shock: :cry: :lol: ^^^^ That pretty much sums up the movie.

True, there are way better DT songs out there that could have been chosen. (Remember also that this list is only Rumored and may only be partially right) I personally would have liked to see MetropolisPt1 or Erotomania(Even though it's an instrumental) or even The Dark Eternal Night =P~ But anyway it is a 'full band' game now it's not just all about the guitar anymore. True those songs would be better but Pull me Under just seems like a more 'well rounded' song for the full band. Although I do prefer Rock Band's choice of using Panic Attack as their DT song.

Guitar Hero has always been about extremes in my opinion. Compared to Rock Band...well, Rock Band has more well rounded songs. If you look at Guitar Hero though there are songs as Jordan and Fire and Flames that are VERY difficult to play. You don't see any songs like that in Rock Band. What I'm curious to see though is the 'extreme' songs for other instruments. By the looks of the above setlist (If it is real or not) the extremes for guitar would be Fury of the Storm, Notingham Lace, etc. As you mentioned above, it will be very difficult to sing those songs. What will be the extremes for the drums? What about bass?

The official conformation will be in a few days from what I've heard. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. :

Actually after listening to the songs on the album a couple of times, I realized that it actually isn't that bad. Some songs are very very (and I mean VERY) similar to other songs by them but others are way out of the ordinary. They don't really play near impossible solo's anymore and the have written a lot more slower songs. Good album in my book I guess.

I went to the San Diego show on the 16th. I had VIP backstage passes too :thumbsup: Most amazing show I've ever been to. It was so much fun. I got some really good pictures too from backstage, I'll edit this and put them up later. edit: [hide=Mayhem pics] Terrible picture of me haha. I hadn't slept in days when I took this pic. (it was just before the show started) Mastadon (The first band to come on) This is where we stayed for most of the show backstage. Here's Dragonforce (who was surprisingly pretty good and we got to meet them afterward) When Disturbed came on we decided to jump in the crowd and mosh a bit so this pic is taken from the crowd This is when Slipknot first came out (They kicked us off of the stage because during Slipknot's performance there was going to be like pyro effects that we couldn't be near). Slipknot again After the show me and my friend met with ZP (Dragonforce) and talked to him for like an hour. He is an amazing guy and got us so many hook-ups after the show. We went into his bus and saw the rest of the DForce crew and then afterwards he got us into this BBQ that they were having where all the performers from the Festival went and just hung. We got to hang out with a bunch of drunk rockstars for like an hour or two haha it was awesome. Picture I took with my camera phone of David Draiman (Disturbed) Haha funny story about this picture but long story short, but long story short some guy told me that this security guard (who looked almost EXACTLY like James Hetfield) was James Hetfield and that he wasn't signing any autographs tonight. Well anyway I ended up making a fool of myself trying to take a picture with him haha, ends up he was just David Draimans bodyguard or something....(I still think it's James Hetfield but ah well.[/hide]
