I went to the San Diego show on the 16th. I had VIP backstage passes too :thumbsup: Most amazing show I've ever been to. It was so much fun. I got some really good pictures too from backstage, I'll edit this and put them up later. edit: [hide=Mayhem pics] Terrible picture of me haha. I hadn't slept in days when I took this pic. (it was just before the show started) Mastadon (The first band to come on) This is where we stayed for most of the show backstage. Here's Dragonforce (who was surprisingly pretty good and we got to meet them afterward) When Disturbed came on we decided to jump in the crowd and mosh a bit so this pic is taken from the crowd This is when Slipknot first came out (They kicked us off of the stage because during Slipknot's performance there was going to be like pyro effects that we couldn't be near). Slipknot again After the show me and my friend met with ZP (Dragonforce) and talked to him for like an hour. He is an amazing guy and got us so many hook-ups after the show. We went into his bus and saw the rest of the DForce crew and then afterwards he got us into this BBQ that they were having where all the performers from the Festival went and just hung. We got to hang out with a bunch of drunk rockstars for like an hour or two haha it was awesome. Picture I took with my camera phone of David Draiman (Disturbed) Haha funny story about this picture but long story short, but long story short some guy told me that this security guard (who looked almost EXACTLY like James Hetfield) was James Hetfield and that he wasn't signing any autographs tonight. Well anyway I ended up making a fool of myself trying to take a picture with him haha, ends up he was just David Draimans bodyguard or something....(I still think it's James Hetfield but ah well.[/hide]

Wow amazing setlist. Panic Attack, Pinball Wizard, Carry on my Wayward Sun, Chop Shuy, and even Master Exploder haha. That ought to be fun. This is gonna be awesome. :thumbsup: Edit: 666th post :o Edit2: Since Rock Band has given out their entire setlist maybe Guitar Hero IV will be pressured into releasing theres lol

I find FoG pretty fun actually. Even though I quit a year ago I still come on every once in a while just to say hey. About the time when FoG came out though I decided to go check it out...since I was f2p and all and it WAS an f2p update so I was pretty curious. I don't know, I liked it though. I don't know if it was the fact that it was a fun mini-game or the fact that I happened to be a level 108 in a free to play world. :lol:

Yeah, it's a solo button rip off, but you can also do bends supposedly. I'm curious as to how Rock Band will counter this. How much do you want to be that Rock band 2 will be announced at E3? Touch sensitive solo buttons = Shred fest \ Being able to bend notes = Even better :thumbsup: Looks like they really are going WAY OUT to beat Rock Band.

@above comment... Pick slides would be cool but I don't think that is what it's going to be used for. It looks to me like a rip-off of the solo buttons on the rock band guitar... Other than that I really don't know what other use they could be for.

Next new song is up - Psychosocial. Bad Quality but it's the best they had on youtube. My thoughts on the new song..... -Corey singing = Good -An actual solo? = Good Better than the first song I think but still just a decent song in my book.

I think it looks like a really good thriller and I'm pretty excited about it coming out. I'm gonna go see it with a group of friends whenever it comes out.

I completely disagree... A lot of the members of the band are extremely talented yet they waste their talent on Slipknot. Mick Thompson and Jim Root are pretty damn good guitarists but playing in Slipknot does not really call for a huge demand in their talent. There are some good videos on youtube of Mick actually playing other types of music and he really knows what he's doing. He even teaches guitar for all genres of music because he knows how to play them. Corey Taylor is one of the greatest front-man's is the entire metal genre. He is an amazing singer but again in my opinion he chooses to waste his talent in Slipknot. Look at Stone Sour, look at any other songs Corey has done, songs with Apocalyptica, covers of Anthrax, Soulfly, even Alice in Chains and many more. Joey Jordinson is an incredibly good drummer and can play a double bass incredibly fast. So this is my opinion. A lot of talented musicians in a band that really doesn't call for so much talent. So I can understand you don't like the band but you really can't say that none of the members have any talent.

Unless Harmonix releases attachments to their drums (which Neversoft will never allow), they won't be. World Tour drums have 3 pads and 2 cymbals, Rock Band drums have 4 pads. World Tour drums can determine how hard you hit them, attachments can't make the Rock Band drums do that. I'm just hoping Harmonix doesn't go all crazy and release a new drum set for Rock Band 2 making our old ones null and void. After this I'll have 5 plastic guitars, 2 drum sets, and 2 mics -.- They need to make a universal instrument to just cover them all to make this alot easier for us lol.

That's not a spoiler because we knew about that right after watching Iron Man, they announced IM2, Thor, Captain America and an Avengers movie which should have them all in it :D . I never saw Iron Man so I didn't know. Sounds awesome :

Well if the tab isn't on Ultimate-Guitar (Which it isn't) then it probably isn't anywhere. If you really want to learn the solo that bad you could watch some videos and try to tab it out by watching someone else play it or you could always tab it by ear. Anyways I did try looking and I couldn't find any tabs with the solo in it so sorry. But if you've only been playing 10 months I wouldn't recommend this solo to start off soloing with. I don't know how good you are or anything but I do know that I would never be able to play this solo let alone a solo period at my 10 month mark. Just my opinion though. Good Luck :thumbsup:
