  1. Oo...Acheivment and Lunar junk looks cool... Haha, maybe if you beat all your achievments you could get an Achivments points cape similar to the Quests points cape. Edit: The "mysterious tab" next to the friends list button will probably be used to hold the Acheivments list.
  2. Didn't want to look through this entire thread to see if anyone has posted this yet but... Look what happens when you try to enchant a Ruby Necklace... :D
  3. Pyramid Plunder is absolutely brilliant exp. Not sure if it would be good at your level though but I know I've recommended it to alot of my pure friends getting the stats for desert treasure and they've loved it.
  4. You can still tele off the island even if you drop your dramen staff... It works that way with every "Isolated" Fairy ring destination. Cool idea if it actualy worked though. :D Afk fishing ftw.
  5. You do have a point. I like to call it a 'No-noob zone' :D Everyone is always nice and you can always have a good conversation without someone else butting in. Everyone is also very respectful there too. I saw Zezima firemaking there a while back and no one said a thing about it. No one bothered him or anything. They treated him like a normal player and I like that (It's a big releif off the usual crowd Zezima has following him )
  6. Everyone may not find quests very enjoyable (Trust me I know quite a few). Some people may find cooking very relaxing, some people may hate it to death. Everyone is different.
  7. That explains your answer. If you think about it...Every 99 skill isn't hard to get at all. Just tedious very time consuming and yes troublesome. Unless you find clicking multiple objects tens of thousands of times difficult then yes, getting a 99 is very hard. What my point is, Jagex is making newer ways of significantly reducing the time it takes to get 99 skills. All I'm saying is, the quest cape will never get any easier to obtain. True yes. But even without guides quests are still quite difficult. Guides only lead you in the right direction, but it's you who has to get yourself to the final destination. First of all the quest cape is not "easy" to obtain and nowhere in my thread have I said that. The main idea of this topic is that Quest Cape's will be highly respected in the distant future, with all the new quest additions and new skill requirements. Even if they aren't the hardest quests they still add up. Two new quests a month in a few years can add a couple weeks maybe even months to the time it takes to train the skills and complete all the requirements to recieving a Quest Cape.
  8. Recently level 99 skills have been becoming easier to obtain... With the addition of Pest Control, combat training became a peice of cake. With the addition of Pyramid Plunder, theiving became one of the easiest 99's to obtain. In the future there will possibly be updates that make other skills easier to train, which means we will be seeing alot more skill capes running around. What's unique about the quest cape is, it's becoming harder and harder to obtain with each new quest added to the game. If you thought aquiring a quest cape was hard now try to get one in a few years ( If this game is still around =\ ). These are the kind of things that make the quest cape my favorite cape of acheivment. What do you think about this?
  9. God that took me a while to read Pretty funny though :D boJ dooG
  10. Hardest Quest - Mornings End pt 2 Most Frustrating Quest - Rat Catchers -.-
  11. Construction and Crafting are two of my favorite skills Just because they're cool and have alot of benefits (And because as we see here not alot of people have high levels of those two skills...) You could easily get a three digit rank at 80 construction and that's just sad, Just because everyone says construction is dumb and has no use... One day when I somehow get 100m, 99 construction is the 1st on my list of things to buy. :D
  12. Aww...sorry to see you go but ill be there If it hasnt started already =P

  19. I am so totaly 50gp! I better make it... I had to pull an MJ and turn black over night just to try out for the role.
  20. You make a good point there but...Hmm... Jagex could always recognize the person they first saw the idea with... Either way there is always going to be complainers and Want-to-be's but...Hey...What can ya do?
  21. I recently sent the following message to Jagex on the topic of player recognition. If Jagex uses someone's idea off the suggestions forum, or anywhere, the player should get some recognition for it, right? I'm just posting this as a though to see what most other people would think. So, would you want some recognition? A couple of months ago I posted a suggestions forum up about a problem with the ring of forging. The idea was that if you examined the ring you could see how many charges were left. The thread ended up getting a good 500 posts before getting lost to the mysterious page 51. No more then 2 weeks later, I read the new update to see that Jagex actualy considered my idea, except that they made it so you would stop smithing when the ring stattered. Now recently, maybe a few months ago, many of you will remember that they finaly made my idea a reality. You could now view how many charges the ring left by operating it. I was excited that they actualy considered and used my idea but I was kind of dissapointed that they did not give me any recognition for it, so I wondered if many others might have wanted their chance in the spotlight too. Skillcapes started as a player idea and now they are one of the most respected updated out there today. How do you think the person that thought this idea feels that no one knows he is the one that made it happen. So what are your thoughts on all this? Also, I would like to remind everyone that this is a Discussion thread NOT a Suggestions thread. You can flame the idea of player recognition all you want but don't flame me.
