  6. I know what ya mean Waka...The 1st time I ever played on stage was when I was playing guitar for like 20 or maybe 30 people. I was nervous about it weeks before I even had to do it haha. When the big day finally came I got up on stage, hands were shaking, both feet firmly together on the ground...And I played. After the show was over I felt great and the next few shows me and my band played I slowly started getting over it and started just having fun with it. Here's a tip to you on how not to get nervous... 1. Be confident in yourself and your performance 2. Just have fun Once you start moving up there you'll start to have a blast and forget the crowd is even there. And here's another tip I always use...If you're forced to look out into the crowd DO NOT look right into their eyes...Try and look just above there heads...It makes all the difference in the world. Hope you have a blast at future shows...
  7. I play guitar and I absolutely love to play Progressive / Metal music. Dream Theater is my favorite band so that works out perfectly lol.
  8. Seperate ways by Journey I don't even listen to Journey that much but I find that song stuck in my head ALL THE TIME.
  9. I actually thought it was Ben's to be honest...Dunno why
  10. As some of you may know, Dream Theater, the masters of progressive metal, are coming out with their 10th studio released album on June 5th, 2007 called "Systematic Chaos". Here is a quick Bio of the band Dream Theater and a little bit of information about their new album. "Since their first studio release in 1989, Dream Theater has notched up record and DVD sales in excess of six million and headlined to audiences of 20,000. Having undertaken seven world tours across 42 different countries, they have established a live reputation that has swept them to arena-status around the globe. They have appeared alongside acts such as Deep Purple, Iron Maiden and Yes. Recognized by peers and public alike for their advanced musical expertise, the band (Mike Portnoy, drums; John Petrucci, guitar; John Myung, bass; James LaBrie, vocals; Jordan Rudess, keyboards) has long held the ability to combine complex arrangements with unadulterated songwriting skills, the material often underpinned by riffs as heavy as anything in the Metallica repertoire. "This album's got all of the elements we've become known for," reveals Portnoy. "The focus on musicianship, the skull-crushing riffs, the big progressive epics and the heart-wrenching melodies. We've got one of the strongest and most devoted fan bases in the world, and they should certainly be happy with the new material. By working closely with the label we hope to turn a great many new heads, too." Prior to teaming up with Roadrunner Records, Dream Theater was signed to a seven-album deal with Warner Music Group worldwide. The deal commenced with the critically acclaimed and commercially successful Images And Words (1992), a Gold-certified US release, and concluded, in equal style, with Octavarium (2005), a Top 40 Billboard outing. In August of last year the band issued Score, a live album/DVD (recorded at Radio City Music Hall in New York), which went straight to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard DVD charts, knocking Pink Floyd from the top! By the following month, the five were holed up at Avatar Studios in New York, working on the new album with veteran engineer/ mixer Paul Northfield (Rush, QueensrÃÆÃâÃâÿche, Porcupine Tree). As usual, Portnoy and Petrucci chose to co-produce the project, which features seven compositions (one a 25-minute epic), and word on the grapevine is that the Dream Theater/Roadrunner alliance looks all set to kick off with a classic. Systematic Chaos, Dream Theater's ninth studio release, arrives at a time when the band is casting a longer-than-ever shadow across the rock and metal landscape. Their influence is being acknowledged by an increasing number of contemporary, cutting-edge acts such as Stone Sour, Trivium, Shadows Fall, Opeth as their fan base continues to grow." Here is a picture of the band in front of the cover of their 9th studio released album titled, "Octavarium". From left to right... Mike Portnoy - Drums John Petrucci - Guitar James Labrie - Vocals John Myung - Bass Jordan Rudess - Keyboard Their new album "Systematic Chaos" will be the bands 10th studio released. The album's track listings will include... In The Presence of Enemies Pt.1 (9:00) Forsaken (5:36) Constant Motion (6:55) The Dark Eternal Night (8:51) Repentance (10:43) Prophets Of War (6:01) The Ministry of Lost Souls (14:57) In The Presence of Enemies Pt.2 (16:38) There will also be a Special Edition version of the album which will include... -The entire album mixed in 5.1 surround sound -"Chaos in Progress - The Making of Systematic Chaos" (a 90-minute documentary directed by Mike Portnoy) This album will be released Tuesday June 5th, 2007 and I personally can't wait. Dream Theater is my favorite band and, being a musician myself, practically worship them. I just wanted to know if anyone else has ever heard of them or if anyone else is as excited as me about this album. Post your thoughts...
  11. Wouldn't that be an oxymoron?
  12. Looks like Jagex is getting better at realizing what we want. First there was a few months of "dissapointing" updates with a couple of good ones here and there but now it looks like they're taking a new approach on what they do and everyone seems pleased with it. As for me...This looks like an awesome month even though I don't have 90 slayer or a Hunter level that's even close to 84 lol. But oh well, Dragon arrows and Dark bows will be really awesome and I can't wait for em to come out. Allthough it would be interesting to see what else those "impings" drop...They did mention that there woud be more new "stuff" But anyway sounds like a good month all together. The thing that most caught my attention was the Bits and Peices section. Sounds like a good idea and I think alot of people will like that. By the way...I hope Dark Bows don't go for like 10m on opening day...And Dragon arrows costing 2.5k each. :wall: Prices will be high though...Unfortunatly...*sigh*
  13. Construction is actually one of my favorite skills. At first I didn't like it though but one day I actually went to seriosuly train it because it was very low. I found it pretty boring like most skills but once I hit level 70 and started building up my house I found how useful and how cool my house turned out. Ever since then I have loved Construction...I just wish I had some more money to train it. :? I felt the same way as you did at first untill I got my very own alter. Trust me dude it's way better then the ectofuntus. For just a small fraction more of the price you could ecto for, you could get the same ammount of exp almost 10 times faster. I went from 52 to 70 prayer in two hours flat (And that's like two thousand something bones). Care to explain? On 6/6/6 the richest player in the game at the time had a huge house party. When he expelled everyone, he was able to attack people...not in the wilderness. Loads of people banned and a lot of people also lost items. I've seen videos where mods are yelling-Bank your items and run or tele! Cursed You, the first player to get 99 construction, threw a house party on June 6th 2006. When the party was over he booted everyone from the house but the people who were in his combat ring at the time still had the option of attacking people anywhere they wanted to. Here's a very good video of it... They call it the 666 Fally Massacre because most players who were apart of the glitch (Duradel in paticular who is also very well known now because of it) waited in Fally for people to come so they could kill them. And then the 666 obviosuly comes from because it was on 6/6/06.
  14. I say the older the better but not all the time. But you can say that for about 80% of the time...For Runescape that is. As you said...In xbox live pretty much 85% of the community is an [wagon] lol.
  15. This has to be the most pointless thing I have ever seen. But boy is it funny. As for the attack on varok...It could be possible but it will be interesting to see what actually happens...That is, if it happens :D
  16. Agility is the most agrivating skill to me...Just because it is so repetitive. Running around in the same area hundreds or even thousands of times can get a person just a little annoyed sometimes...
  17. Well...just got all my 153 kudos... I teled right next to the barge ship at the digsite and logged. Now all I have to do now is wait.
  18. +1 And seriosuly...Everyone quit your arguing. It's pointless, it's not getting you anywhere and I'm sick of it.
  19. I've been reading through a little bit of this thread and for what people are saying about the exp lamps... I've done all quests and I ended up getting 2 1k lamps 2 10k lamps and I have yet to of gotten the lamp which requires the book.
  20. This one is my favorite -- I did it to my friend on purpose. But there is one that I always find myself guilty of and it does get annoying sometimes lol. Bob logs in. To Joe: Hey Bob whats up! From Joe: ? To Joe: Woops wp lol To Joe: Hey Bob whats up! From Joe: ... To Joe: God...Wp Bob logs out. ... Happens all the time =\
  21. Yes... I was at barrows one time and usually I wear a ring of wealth but I just got done crafting some nats so I still had a ring of life on I forgot to take off. Lagged at Verac...Came back and I was in Fally with all my stuff thank god. Talk about lucky right there :D
  22. +1 And no...I have to say I have never cried...nor had a reason too.
