I want your god damn car. Try using layer masks for the blur. Duplicate the image, blur it, add a layer mask to it, then use a black to white gradient going from one corner to another.
Here's the plan. I just finished the first year of Visual Arts in my college which is a 2 year program. I graduate in 2011. After this college, I might go to a more advanced college (I think it's a college) to do graphic design. Sitting to a desk and computer all day isn't what I REALLY wanted but at least it's in a field that I like and where I can make some money.
After next year I'm probably going to do a graphic design course and I want to get a little head start. I just want random ideas thrown at me to see what I can come up with. Basically you 'invent' a company name and what they do and I'll just make a logo or two to go with it. This isn't serious as I just want some practice. The more ideas the better so you can request 2 or 3 in one post if you want.
There are people who become speechless just looking at something but I just became.. mindless. It's very random and I don't know what to comment on. Nice use of chiaroscuro? I guess.
Sorry man, but if you wanted the text like this, the program I'm using can't do that. Illustrator can maybe. Also, I changed it if you hadn't noticed. D:
You don't need C4D's to make a sig. You could easily added the render to a anime background and added more smaller renders in then blend it to turn it into a photo manip sig.
Do you know what would be cool? A drawing thread where you can ask questions, post sketches or other useful knowledge. I've been taking drawing classes since september and I'm pretty sure I can help.
Go over the lines in a HB or F or other thin pencil in dark lines and try to clean up the image by erasing around the new lines. Then you can shade in the details using the same thin pencil if you want to include loads of detail, or you can use the pencil you originally drew your image with but have more control. Basically: Lineart -> Cleanup -> Shading. WinWin
