First off training Dg under level ~80 is always going to be slow and soloing is also slower than doing a c6 large (5 man complexity 6) floor. Keep using tears/lamps and opening the resource dungeons when you can get them. Im sure someone will correct me, but doing all but the top 3 floors C6 and C1'ing the other floors is the fastest xp at lower levels. That would mean C1'ing floors 1-17(don't care about dying as the xp is insignificant) and 18-20 C6. Do this till you get to level 59 where try to do all floors >f30 as a C6. If you are going to solo try to do med floors as they can be done relatively fast for a fair amount of xp. This said getting a group of friends together and doing larges would almost certainly be faster xp/h. Seeing as you are 99 attack join the friends chat 'dung smith' and ask them to make you a prom 2h(make sure to bind it). To maximize the effectiveness of the 2H upgrade your ring by right clicking on the ring and clicking customize and upgrading the beserker with as many tokens as you can afford. using the smash/slash stances will utilize the increased strength levels. when you reach level 50 try to bind the best pl8 you can while looking out for a shadow silk hood. If you get a hood drop before level 50 i would bind it over a weapon. Unless you have a hex hunter bow (a very rare drop from a level 99 slayer monster) avoid range as the DPS comparable to melee is much lower. *Attacking an enemy that is fighting your companion will now pull threat away from him/her. *"Hard" companions now receive slightly more experience for completing an event. *Ranger and mage companions accuracy has been increased. *Trekkers will now eat at below 50% health instead of 25%. :thumbsup:

What routes are the quickest to train up Rolayne Twickit and Smiddi Ryak? i have the other 4 up to level 99 with Smiddi at level 36 and Twickit at level 10. Currently i am just using the mid route route and killing everything myself. Cheers guys

Ancient effigies now correctly give XP when a player boosts the requirements, but the boost wears off before the XP is claimed. Got a few friends who will be pleased about this Edit: ninja'd

As its your lowest skill make sure you use your Tears of Guthix points on it. Also when yoou can open a resource dungeon open it, they give sizable xp rewards When you get to lvl 50 bind a Gorg plate if you haven't found a hood by then (If you find a hood before level 50 i would bind it over the 2h and use the weapons found on the starting table). Ask in 'Dung smith' cc for someone to make you a Gorg 2h. As you want to solo it would best to c6 med your highest 10 floors, while c1'ing the other floors. Personally i wouldn't train Dg till atleast level 50 as the xp is so poor at lower levels. When i did normad i used a rune xbow and ruby bolts till he got to 1/4 health. After this he got to his berserker stage. i Dismissed my tort and summoned a Kaytt and spam clicked the ambush scroll while healing, the kaytt did most of the dammage as i could only just keep up my healing. My invent was 5 restores, 14 brews, 1 range pot, EE, Rapier for the last stage, spirit kaytt pouch and 200 ambush scrolls. In my tort i had 3 restores and the rest brews(i had more brews than restores as the last stage i barely attacked so didnt need to restore my stats and needed the healing) I Got him on the second time after being 1-2 hits of killing the first time. Decanting all of your potions into (1) (2) (3) and (4) does takes up a considerable amount of space.

I didnt get my first chaotic till i was nearly 85, 500kxp will come soon enough.

Cheers for the money making advice but when i can be bothered to make money i normally pop over to frost dragons, its quite a stable source when i can find an empty world.

Im in Kuradal's Dungeon killing the greater demons and as well as the normal ranged attacks i keep hitting 20's. Anyone know what this is? The base slayer gear is as follows (alternatives in brackets): • [For all slayer monsters except those mentioned under other weapons] Chaotic rapier (whip) • Bandos body + legs (Verac's skirt with either fighter torso or proselyte top) • [Depending on prayer/accuracy needs] Fire cape/Soul Wars cape/Ardougne cloak 3 • Barrows gloves (your best rfd gloves, at least rune) • Dragon boots (rune boots) • Amulet of fury (glory) • Dragon defender (rune defender) • Berserker ring (i)/ferocious ring if slaying in Kuradal's Dungeon (berserker ring, warrior ring) • [Most important] Full slayer helmet. • [For magic defence on waterfiends/aquanites] Karil's top and elite void skirt (black dragonhide body and chaps) • [Crush attacks to use on waterfiends] Chaotic maul (Saradomin sword, Zamorakian spear) • [stab attacks for higher-levelled dragons, when not using rapier] Korasi's sword (Zamorakian spear, leaf-bladed sword) • Task-specific items such as mirror shields, antifire shields/potions, elemental shields, rock hammers, crystal chimes • Cannon (optional, up to personal preference) Slayer setups generally emphasise strength bonus, which increases the average damage of each succesful hit (slayer monsters usually having rather low defence, hitting is not a problem). Secondly, prayer bonus is important to keep the cost of prayer potions down (as you slay with piety on, to increase the speed of your kills. This is cost-effective and highly recommended). As a rule of thumb, +15 prayer bonus or above is good, but don't overdo it (anything above +25 is a waste). Defence and accuracy bonus are usually not fretted over (any defence bonus over 200 will do; if you get hit too often you should be using a protection prayer). Dagganoth, black demon, lesser demon, hellhound, bloodveld and spectre tasks should be cannoned, as it dramatically increases xp rates (although it costs a bit). Some notes on gear: You'll want a fury and a berserker ring before you get bandos plate, and get that before tassets. You'll want accuracy bonus on higher-levelled dragons; if using stab attacks (which you should) you can use the Ardougne cloak 3 which provides you with +6 stab and +6 prayer bonus. Torso + sw cape and fire cape + proselyte are common cheap top/cape combinations; the former is better. Some levels to get for slayer (in approximate order but I'm not sure on the summoning): • 68 summoning - bunyip • 81 dungeoneering (you need 2 million xp, which takes you to level 80, but allowing some tokens for the scroll of life) - rapier • 89 herblore (85 with a +4 stew boost) - extreme potions, superantifires • 95 prayer - turmoil and soul split • 88 summoning - unicorn • 96 herblore (91 with a +5 stew boost) - overload • 99 summoning - steel titan I'm sure I missed something but this is most of it.
