I actually really enjoyed the fictional article. I was going to skip past but I'm glad I didn't! As for the second article, I really hope Jagex continue down the path of less grinding and more changing gameplay. While it will cause leveling to take longer, it's a lot more fun.

This really makes me want to get my dungeoneering up from level 65 now! Kind of annoyed I have no time to play this weekend though :S

I liked it. :thumbup: Normally I don't read fictional articles either but this one was short enough to keep my attention and it was a good read.

Just finished reading The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini a couple of weeks ago and now I'm reading The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver for my English class. 1984 was one of our other novel options so I might read that after I'm done The Bean Trees.

"Hell" is due to be released by Notch on Halloween. Right now you can find caves and other cool places by just exploring and digging. The biomes being released on Halloween should make things even more interesting as well; definitely an update to look forward to.

Wish I could have watched this yesterday before I did the quest! :P This was actually pretty entertaining, nice job.

I read Life of Pi, but for some reason I just couldn't really get into it. I read the whole book to see how the plot turned out though; the story was good just not my type of novel.

I just did the quest today and near the end I used the quest guide to prepare for the final battle. However I think this part needs to be changed a bit as it is kind of misleading right now: What it really should say is: The reason being is if you bank before seeing the queen spawn you have to go through Taverly Dungeon to get back to the boss which is both time consuming and uneeded. As another note it might be a good idea to mention this route for those who want to leave the Black Knight's Lair before seeing the boss. (Also I know you mention the teleporting method in the Tips, tricks & notes section but it would probably be a good idea to mention it as an actual step as well) Pretty much all the quest guides I checked on the Internet fail to address this issue, so it would be helpful for other players (like myself) who don't know how to return to the area.

I teleported out too soon so Tiffy wouldn't teleport me, and I couldn't get in through the fortress by the wilderness. Didn't think of the one in Taverly though. Thanks for the quick replies guys!

So I teleported out to get some armour/supplies after finishing the Conquest fight in the quest and now I have no idea how to get back into the Black Knights storeroom. It's probably something simple but for the life of me I can't figure out how. :oops:

Congrats on becoming a soon to be Stellar Dawn competition winner. :P It's really a stunning image, especially the detailed textures on the planets. Do you think you could post the full size? I'd love to be able to use it as my desktop background if it's ok with you.

I didn't care much for Mostly Harmless either, the whole thing with (Spoiler) there being Tricia and Trillian, and the earth exploding was kind of a depressing end. Haven't read the series in a while so I can't remember too much of the key points. I do remember Marvin's "death" was pretty sad though.

The Hunger Games (If you haven't read these I strongly recommend them; they're very fast paced and an exciting read.) 3. Artemis Fowl 4. Inheritance Trilogy +1 (Here's to having an epic 4th book) 5. LOTR 6. The Stand (extended & uncut edition by Stephen King :thumbup: ) 7. Redwall 8. Firestarter (Another great Stephen King novel) Gah I know I'm missing a ton of my favourites, as I've read so many books that have been amazing. Most of them are fantasy/sci-fi as they're my two favourite genres. I'll have to post a more extensive list when I have more time. :P

Getting all skills to 50 will allow you to do so much more in the game than having just 1 skill at 99. You could always go for a 99 afterwards if you really wanted to.

What do you mean? Explain further. I don't know if it's only for certain servers but when you play Survival Multiplayer, if you take a tool that's degraded (been used), drop it on the ground and then pick it up, it resets back to a brand new tool. So a diamond pickaxe which can be used 1025 times can be dropped just before you've run out of uses, and then when you pick it up it resets, giving you another 1025 uses again.

Just learned something amazing, dropping tools and then picking them up in SMP fully restores them. :grin: Handy for keeping diamond tools forever.

Try playing in a pitch dark room at 1AM with the sound on really high. D: I always expect to see a creeper whenever I hear a sound but it always seems to come from the surface.

I'm sure there will be at least one person judging that frequents General Discussion and will be able to explain it to any judges that don't get it. :)

Here you go: Here's a transparent version: Depending on the program you use (I personally use Photoshop) you just have to use a combination of the magic wand/selection tools and the eraser to get rid of the white (blue in this case) parts and leave behind a transparent layer instead. Just make sure it's saved as a .png and it should save with the transparent background.

Not really a big deal but the Explorer's Ring (4) is not listed on this page in the item database.

I like the lighter revised attack cape more except for the bottom which seems to be a blackish colour rather than crimson. If you had time the other capes would look better the way you did the attack cape, but either way they're still awesome.

Something you also have to consider is if the internet had no anonymous identities, would people like that Swedish man post about wanting to commit suicide in the first place? Many people only share their secrets online because it is often a way to express yourself without having any past history tied to you which could create biased responses from others. While taking away the ability to be anonymous would help fix some of the worse problems on the internet, it also discourages a lot of valid opinions/thoughts that wouldn't be shared by people who want what they have to say to remain separate from real life.
