Was thinking of doing the same thing. :P I want to get 15 of the objectives completed but if most of them are "buy x game" then I might only be able to aim for 5. :/

Looking at blade's idea I can see how it would work well. It's not like there's a huge amount of discussion that takes place in Rate This! so having polls on the threads would allow people who have nothing to contribute to rate the achievement without posting a spam reply. So pretty much we could either decide to put "If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all" into the rules or we could make it against the rules to discuss why someone rated something the way they did. Then this would allow slight rudeness but putting a cap on replies to rude people and thus eliminating any flaming that would come out of it. It sounds like it could be a good fix but whether it will work well or not depends on how well the community can ignore these posts.

Exactly. Low ratings are not a problem as long as they're accompanied by something that isn't blatantly putting the person's achievement down. For example someone posts an 80 fletching thread: Bad: "1/10 Come back when you have something better to post noob." Good: "1/10 Level 80 fletching isn't a very hard level to reach. Try going for 99 now." If low ratings were posted with criticism that is be helpful, or even encouraging we could make Rate This a place where anyone can post what they achieved without being attacked, flamed, or put down for it not being a 99, maxed skill, etc.

I had an HP laptop with a good graphics card, processor, etc but the motherboard died on me twice, most likely for overheating. While the hardware was easily capable of running most games fairly well, it couldn't even handle Runescape at min graphics without getting really hot. I did get the motherboard replaced twice for free but only after several hours on the phone each time and another moth for it to be sent in, repaired, and sent back. In my current computer setup I'm using several ASUS parts including a monitor and so far they've been of great quality. Same with my Apple iPod, 4 years old and still works just as great as it did when I first got it.

Bought the Orange Box during the Black Friday sales and just got to play TF2 for the first time. I'm such a newb but damn have I been missing out on some fun.

That's a good option to go with in terms of experience and money, plus your barely have to pay any attention while fishing rocktails. Not sure what the limits for the living minerals are. I know I was able to buy a few thousand in under an hour so I'd guess the limits would either be 5k or 10k every four hours.

Wizards were cool, so was Zelda. Therefore Gandalf + Ganondorf = Gandorf 6+1=7 which is lucky I suppose. Of course I may have just misspelt Ganondorf but I like my first reasoning better. :P I did change my username to Mr Spock for a while but I missed having my original name. I wouldn't mind knocking off some numbers but another person already has Gandorf with a few ranked skills and I'd like to keep my Tip.it/Runescape names the same.

Cool to see but this stat wiping business is really going to ruin a lot of level 3 skiller achievements that people have done legitimately. If Jagex are going to use this wiping stats approach they should wipe everything the account has done/gotten during the time it botted. Any items gained of course should be put on the GE to avoid rares and such being lost though.

Moved to suggestions & split spam. Whether this thread was to troll or not, it's still worthy of discussion. :) Aside from the fact that 2 POH probably wont be possible, the rest of the ideas actually sound pretty good.

You can use either one to make the pouches. However it's better to break the kg pieces into several 500g ones as it's a bit cheaper that way.

Jagex originally planned to do this for Runescape Classic but plans were scrapped due to having to charge players too much to host private servers. Somehow I don't think having 5 separate games with private servers is going to be more successful. Besides it's really not practical, server costs aside Jagex would have to have employees working for each type of server which would mean less updates for the current version of Runescape and support having to be spread out across what would essentially be 3 different games. As much as people want the old wildy and no trade limits, it's not going to be coming back even with ideas such as private servers.

It doesn't have a CD drive built in it.

It kind of depends on the person really. Yesterday I had a teammate make everyone the highest platebodies they could wear, while helping out with guardian doors and cooking us a ton of food. Didn't brag about his skills once and was a great player. On another note, I've also finally gotten the hang of doing the mercenary rooms now and although they are slow to get past at least I'm not dieing with each one I encounter. :thumbup: Also people who take all the food and then yell at you for not running in to kill the boss when you're almost dead make me mad. <_<

1. Extract the files from the Painterly Pack. 2. Copy the files in the pack: 3. Create a new Zip File: 4. Paste files into the new Zip file. 5. Move the new Zip file to the minecraft mods/textures folder. Basically you just have to make sure the files are in the root of the zip folder.
