For your range pure, get 40 atk and some str levels to ko, and on your main/pker definately get at least 31 pray I think.

Nice, I may have to start merchanting if I want to make any more $, seeings how staking is down the drain. In one day of staking I turned 300k into 21M, but now the most I can get is what... like 24K in 2 hours? :x I might just quit and leave my santa in the bank and buy another rare with rest of my cash :(

Best blog I have ever read :) I started RS in around 2001 (late). But I never got into merchanting, mostly just making random pures :). I also was hacked many, many times just as you were, but not as much was lost when I was. Most I lost was pink, yellow, and white hat and my pure who was 74 Attack 81 Str 30 def :( Well, goodluck in your merchanting!

Same scam happened to me in RSC in around 2003 or so. I had a yellow party hat and I traded "Evil Swords". I put up my little paper hat and he puts up a green one! I tell my brother, no matter what he does accept, because green ones are worth more than yellow. Evil Swords continues to put up more items, such as around 700K cash, and full rune. We both accept and it turns out he took away the green party hat :( I yelled at my older brother when this happened :( and ran into my dining room and started crying :cry: . Mind you this was when I was like 10 or 11 :P Well... live and learn. Grats on your comeback though. I just lost 170m staking and I am currently cleaned :( Hopefully I'll get back up, but I havent been on in like a week.

Why would you get 99 magic to be a melee staker...? Thats actually the dumbest thing i've ever heard seeings how since you alched it all you didnt get any hp exp making it pointless.
