  1. safing minotaurs in the SOS lvl 1 behind the fence is the best place to do it. Best thing is they drop a LOT of arrows, you will usually come out with more arrows then you came with, letting you train for free as long as you have some arrows to start off with.
  2. ok, for some reason my search isn't working...I first tried doing KBD guide, but didn't get nothing...so i tried king black dragon, still nothing, then i tried king which didn't come up with anything so i tried dagganoth kings, still no luck which i knew this should be working cause i searched it a couple days ago. everything was set on defaults Can anyone help me?
  3. would prob still be experiments for just pure training
  4. zammy mage in varrock castle behind the stairs is a good spot because he can't attack you, and if it does succeed within 3 secs it will be gone
  5. i think he means if you pick it yourself....
  6. um you you should probably bring the blue hat/robe, because they give a bigger bonus than black ones. No, they do not. Both give +2 hat respectively, and +3 robe. WRONG! The blue mage robe +3, the black one has +2... WRONG! check again ;) they both give the same bonus edit- also i think the prices might by the store prices possibly ><
  7. fire giants are great exp for mage if bolting, and when i was down there seen a lot of high lvl rangers also training there, so i personally think it is a great place to train if you have done the quest.
  8. the regular dragons aren't worth using a potion on, as they don't use fire breath that much and i think that would be more expensive than 20 sharks a round....><
  9. a got a question for tip.it staff ya say that ya want to follow runescapes rules on here, but yet ya have advertising banners saying selling runescape 2 gold for money why is this an exception? or is it alright as long as tip.it does it and noone else.......
  10. apparently you have misread something.....they are weak against mage(they are metal after all) and strong versus range(again they are metal after all)
  11. you can not be maged base 126 combat range and mage based combs end at 109 About the lvl 126 thing....how many lvl 126 accounts you got? noone(almost noone atleast) makes a pure to get to 99 str/att they are to get to a certain point (example 40 attack and as high str as you want f2p, or 59 mage for fireblast) then pk/stake to where they can hit high at the low comb lvl, they have no intention on getting 126 comb, or even 100 combat. that was the point on a pure at first....now it seems ppl make them to just follow in on the crowd ><
  12. try raising your range level, as range is said to be the easiest one to do( i have never been down there, but read quite a few guides, and i would think your lvl is good enough if you were going with a couple 100s+ imo) work your range to maybe 80 or 85
  13. if you could buy everything you needed and made a profit while getting magic exp without a threat, there would be a lot more ppl with 99 mage. You going to either have to make the nats, or make the bows or string the bows if you want to make any profit.
  14. if you are p2p, have done the dwarf cannon quest and done lighthouse quest (i think that is the names of them), then using a cannon in the lighthouse bottom floor with the dagganoths is your best option for fast range training. That is if you can afford the c balls and cannon and have done the quest.
  15. train on blue dragons till you get 80 range, selling the hides, and either burying or selling bones for profit. Once you get 80 range, you can look for a DK team and make a really good profit off of them.
  16. it could be possbile if rings are allowed.(which i think they are) First you should bring some high lvl food, not a must, but the guy can hit pretty hard, and if you can't heal fast you will be dead fast. Second, bring about 4-5 rings of recoil, this way when he hits you, he will get hit back. This way if you can't do damage to him, atleast he can damage himself. (find out how much his first 3 forms hp is total, then divide that by 40 round the number up and bring that many rings.) and remember you only got to kill 3 forms, the 4th isn't necessary
  17. you could, but would also have to bring p pots, and it prob wouldn't be to cost effective at your lvls at all. When i was maging them a while back, noone under 110 comb or so would melee them......
  18. all of them have a low mage lvl i think. I suggest trying the zammy monk/priest thing in the varrock castle, as it is a very popular place to try it.
  19. i would go with hill giants.....they have pretty low def, very close to a fishing spot if you can fish trout+, and drop big bones for prayer/profit (they sell for like 400ea.)
  20. actually one of the slayer monsters the master will tell you to use a element against the monster if your maging, showing that the elements do make a difference. Can't remember what monster, got to level 55 slayer in 3 days, so i was doing assignments pretty fast. edit- just thinking about it and i'm pretty sure it is ice giants/warriors tell you to use fire spells against them, anyone got an ice giant/warrior assignment they can check real quick?
  21. ok i was wondering, does the god spell special effects (like zammy lowers mage and sara lowers prayer) is there a random chance of each hit doing it, or does the first hit lower it by a set amount.
  22. go with agility or if you have money, train prayer, as it is a lot harder training prayer f2p than p2p (find someone with a gilded altar, or use ectofungus with d bones for great exp)
  23. if you can afford a cannon, then bring that, it is one of the fastest ranged exp in the game. ( of course with cannon balls) brink some pretty good food, cause at your lvl you will prob take a lot of damage. you might need a partner, but it is usually a busy place with 2-3 ppl already training there, so you might not.
  24. d2h is awesome looking dharoks has it beat in all combat related ways though.
