A Halloween Review (Warning: Minor wall of text)
Yeah. I would have loved a levitating broom  . I don't think all is lost with the broom..since you cannot operate it "yet"... I think they have left the door open with this one....this was a quest reward, and perhaps in another quest we will learn how to operate it Er... someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the 'operate' option on the broom the teleport to the Sorceress's Garden minigame?

The pressure is what makes it fun! :P And the website is http://www.nanowrimo.org. It's a little slow right now, be patient. The site is always a little overloaded the first couple of days.

World 16 Air running Chat
*cough* Might I suggest an edit to the front page, then? It still says that x7 get rank. And how's the fight with the hacker going? I was on last night, and nothing seemed odd in-chat.

First post.

28 October 2008 - Hallowe'en Event and Quest
Cat is member's only, though f2p'ers can apparently start it... And you get the broom back from Maggie, since it is a quest reward, not an event reward.

Really?!?!?! Did not know that... Cool. Anyone who finshes their novel by the deadline is a winner and they're all displayed. Needless to say none are of great quality, since it's basically a hand-cramping ink-flying scribblefest. Only typed. Which isn't my cup of tea to be honest. I'm too much of a perfectionist to fly through something like that with no deliberating or editing. And there's no way in hell I have the time any more. Love your name and sig, first of all...even though it's Han that says "Never tell me the odds," not Luke. ;) And yeah, I sympathize with the perfectionist bit, and the lack of time. I'm going to end up writing on the bus and in between classes to get my 1667 words a day.

The site's always down the first couple of days, thanks to massive rushing. it dies down by the end of the first week. But no, no prizes, and stories aren't displayed. Just a nice feeling of accomplishment. Racing like NASCAR? Or drag racing? Or what? Mine might involve a world of superheroes... The main characters have powers anyway....

Anyone else on Tip.It participating? What's your NaNovel about? Is your caffeine stockpiled? Have you won before? Have you participated before? My novel is about...something. I've got characters, but the plot has not shown up yet; I have loads of caffeine (unless my roommate found and consumed it); I've never won before; and this is my third year. So, yeah. NaNoers of Tip.It unite!

Skill Xp - In One Day ?!?!
Yes, Grapes are 483 Each and Wines are 77 Each. (If you manage to sell any at all) Wines sell fine. They're not instant, but they do sell.

Take the blackbird out, then move them in a circle until they are all in their proper cages. Then put the blackbird back. Darn. No flying broom for me. :( Oh, well.

28 October 2008 - Hallowe'en Event and Quest
Nothing. Well, I assume it heals you, but nothing special. After you finish the event, Maggie gives you a bowl and tells you to help yourself to the stew she made. Use the bowl with the stew and drink. Repeat nine times.

No, she's not. Unless she wandered far enough to be off the mini-map, the only thing there in f2p is two little spiders.

28 October 2008 - Hallowe'en Event and Quest
I am wondering the same thing... :-k Off the top of my head, no, since all of the enchanters are in p2p areas, except for maybe the sorceress's apprentice, who i doubt is accessible in f2p. Well I know that the ones in members areas are obviously not accessible but Al Kharid is accessible, I simply have no clue what "sorceress's apprentice" is. The sorceress's apprentice does not appear in f2p worlds. :( Just checked. Also, does anyone know how to get the broom to 'operate'? Ever time i try it, it just says "You have not yet learned how to do this" or something like that.

Lumbridge Explorers ring
You need to have the magic level to cast low alch in order to get the ring. But it does save them money and gives them a bit of free experience.
-
Who has more money?
Wait, what? I always thought F2P had more people... *shrugs* Whatever. Ont Topic: Assuming we're just counting active accounts, P2P probably has a higher net worth. Average worth per character is definitely higher in P2P, whether we're counting just active or anyone.

World 16 Air running Chat
Yes, but this is faster. Also, some people on the chat will generally post if someone is lying, so it saves you that way too. :) I've been running airs on my noob for the past couple of days and this chat makes me happy. :D

RS Died
Oh, good, it's not just me. *hopes Runescape comes back up soon* Well, off to play Spore until it does. ...Okay, off to play Spore until I get kicked off the computer.

For us old players...
He actually said "order of Jadex" ... which makes it even funnier.

Your views on -4 iteming in f2p? (1.4k views!)
Uh... no. Just no. Totally /not/ needed. Teleblock, maybe. Ancients stuff, absolutely not. On topic: eh, it's annoying, but as others have said, don't attack them and most of them won't attack you because they don't want to get skulled. And it'll die down when the hype does.

[RSOF Forum Post] - Combat Level Changes
It DOES affect combat WHEN you have a pouch in your inventory or summon a familiar. Seriously read the RS website before posting again, you are embarassing yourself. no :wall: If I melee with no runes in bag...mage still affects my combat If i melee with no arrows/bow in bag...range still affects my combat so if I am walking around with no summon pouches...summon should still affect my combat please read my posts properly Actually... mage and range don't affect you combat level unless they're higher than your melee skills.

October 15th 2008 - PVP Worlds + Game Log In Improvements
Jagex says they are 100% identical to their uncorropted counterparts, so I would say yes. Oh, HELL yeah. Speccing someone in F2P = awesome.

Will kebab be used when PKing in F2P?Conclusion P.5!
QFT. Though they are available on the G.E. I suppose. On topic: I'm not much of a PK'er, but I personally wouldn't use kebabs if I was on a PvP world. As others have said, the randomness isn't worth the cheaper price, at least not for PvP. For PvM, though, I have and will continue to use them - randomness isn't quite as much of an issue.

[hide=quote chain with pictures] Okay, now I'm so going to go make L. Too bad I can't have my person sit on a chair the way L does... Edit: Hmm... best I could do. Thats horrible, L's hair is blue Is it? Always looked black to me, except in the epic L and Kira splitscreen 'I am awesome' moments... Edit: Screen from the anime: Unless I'm colorblind, that hair is black. The rest of my image may suck, but the hair is at least the right color. If you're colourblind than so am I. 1. anime is phail (manga is better) 2. when I think L I think the color which represents L (which is blue) Strangely enough I don't think red when I think about light. [/hide] Never read the manga. Hell, haven't even seen all of the anime, though I know how things turn out. And I'm totally off topic, but I have no more pictures to add, so off-topic I shall stay.
