doing that to dragon hide might balance PVP... but it wont happen and would be dumb and make slayer be hard for some pople. trust me, infernal mages blood velds and a few others really arent worth it if you need prayer all the time. without hides you couldnt melee them. thus, unbalance. So? Just range them. Exactly. Mages, even npc mages, are supposed to have the advantage on a melee fighter. The unbalance is happening because melee have the advantage on both, range and mage when being a hybrid. If blk dhide is necessary to kill those monsters, then range them, simple as that.

Some include robots taking over the earth, alien invasion, blackholes eating us up, all water turning into a transitional ice-state, even a "it was all just a dream" scenario. Divine intervention too, if anyone doesn't believe in that. Although some like magnetic field transversals, global epidemics, world wars, and asteroid impacts seem plausible. Maybe not those 20, but I'm sure there are others, so it's not much to worry about.

I think that's what he's asking. It may be devoid of matter, but there is something there that defines it as "space" and not "mysterious pan-dimensional void". I simply hate the "don't bother updating graphics, it's like being a WoW pretender" argument. That's like saying "don't get well and pretending to be healthy" to a sick person. The runescape graphics are not that good, and everyone knows it. I embrace any graphics change, whether it looks dumb or not (cough*mining*cough), since it evolves runescape into a better game, and not the same balloon-character game RSC looked like. I agree with the animation being too motion-happy, but it was a vast improvement over the previous look. Realism may not be runescape's strong point, but that's all the more reason to improve upon it. There is nothing defining about the current graphics, or that "runescape's graphics make runescape what it is". No, runescape will always be runescape, its graphics I pray will not. If it comes to rs being defined by avatars that look like they're made out of Play-Doh, then Houston, we have a problem.

This isn't entirely true. I'm not aware of any 2h sword that is better with stabbing than slashing. Many, like claymores, longsword, katanas, greatswords, sabers, etc were meant to outreach shorter weapons, and be strong enough to act independently of a shield. And all weapons i mentioned were primarily for slashing anyway. Only older, smaller swords relied on stabbing techniques, since it would be easier to swing a blade at someone than thrust at them. I think the rs 2h is based on a cross between a greatsword and a claymore. It has the 2meter+ size of a claymore, but is blunt and broad like a greatsword. And seriously, how would you get a 1m-2m sword through a person, short of charging them like a spear? It would be much more practical with slashing (although the crush aspect is rather unrealistic). I agree it evolving to be used against chainmail part though. It annoys me how chainmail is so woefully understated in runescape, while it is really far more efficient than the ancient plate armor. It was also far more expensive to make than platemail due to the difficulty in making the mesh.

Of course, no argument from me there. I can't imagine doing things i can do with a mouse/keyboard on a controller, like playing rpgs or even the littlest modding. But with a shooter, I have a better reaction speed with a controller, and less running hands over the entire thing groping for the right key. I like how the dude "blocks" an enemy's attack. The attacks themselves occur far too quickly for a sword that size. I mean, it would be realistic with a dagger, but my character goes all Naruto when attacking.

Kinda late and unnecessary now, but just wanted to confirm that dragon boots are dropped from Spiritual warriors/rangers/mages. And the Slayer monster-list's new citizens are the spiritual rangers, mages and warriors, albeit the Armadyl birdy ones are shown.

I started on a NES, so I don't really see the point in your arguement there. That I play have played consoles more, and I'm better with them? Although I'm surprised you've had consoles since NES and still prefer PC shooters. Myself, the first game I ever played on a PC was dunno, probably commander keen or something, after I beat TMNT and donkey kong on the SNES much earlier. I had quite the headache trying to get the hang of Doom and Wolfenstein.... Oh....er....Offtopic much....Did i mention i played halo? :anxious:
