Each religion thinks the others will burn in hell. I'm aware that Islam and Christianity are different religions and have different beliefs. I mean, it's obvious that two different things are not the same, because they're different; by definition to be precise. What I meant by "not contradicting" is from what they DO have in similar, which is around 90% (old testament and a lot from the new). A contradiction usually refers to things that refer to the same topics but provide different conclusions. And if it isn't apparent, that remaining 10% are different topics and are obviously going to conflict.

I've only managed 2 offline in coop so far, not sure if more are possible. Otherwise, 8 players online, 4 on each team. Not a good party game tbh.

Well...technically you should be grateful that jagex has low priorities on banning people, or you would have been banned a long while ago! :mrgreen: I don't like how jagex doesn't give warnings, but the way I see it, it's long overdue for a temp ban or mute. Perm ban is harsh, but its a little tough love, and remember, that is a lot of rules you broke there. :boohoo: And did you say you went from 8 to 15, or 0.8 to 15? The bible doesn't have to be updated all the time like evolution does since it doesn't contradict itself. (*cough*cough*bookofmormon*cough*cough* O:) ) The bible contradicted itself a long time ago, when the muslim books said god is muslim, the hindu books said god is hindu, etc etc The Bible does contradict itself, there was a discussion about that around a hundred pages back (it's a long thread), but not in the way you say it. For one thing, the books on Hinduism is completely independent of the Bible, let's not get into their differences. As for the the Quran, it does not contradict the Bible, just adds to it, much like the Bible adds to Judaism. So there isn't much contradiction, and it isn't fair to compare two different holy books, last time i checked this was on the Bible only.

The invulnerability given by protection prayers is needed, because of the sheer difficulty in doing many things without them. I don't mean simply killing high level monsters, but imagine getting dchains, barrows armor, dragon bones, and virtually anything that involves fighting a high level monster. It used to be that these prayers weren't incredibly necessary, but runescape combat has evolved around their use, it's too late to change how things work now.

But I think the company should care about us customers, I think people that play for more than 5 hours a day can catch diseases and it's bad for Jagex if their customers get diseases. Seriusly. Diseases? Dude, a computer "virus" isn't a real pathogen. If you mean addiction, that's not a disease. It's not bad for jagex, since they have more guaranteed players. And how bad can it get? After playing 5hrs/day for around a year, you should be done with runescape, and then quit. Wait, my friend said he got a keylogger and lyke he coudln't type, so I assumed it messed up his hands? Okay....How old are you, and have you had any education? No, keyloggers don't mess up you hands. And no, playing rs doesn't mean you get a keylogger. Getting malware is hardly jagex's fault. I doubt you're being serious.

To be honest, I would agree with highlander here, no sarcasm. NOT that I would hack someone, I play fair. But if it came to donating money to someone just because I knew them for a while, they wouldn't get peanuts from me. I rarely help anyone if it hurts me, and I don't ask other people for donations, so don't ask me. Of course, the theory doesn't apply to folks i know in rl. It's much harder getting friends in the real world, and help and support goes a much longer way here. But in a virtual world, things aren't quite as important to anyone. So while I may give you directions or help you with a quest, don't expect me to sacrifice myself so I can let someone walk all over me.

Making gold untradeable would work. :-s I like the email verification thing though, jagex has the incentive to do it since they can advertise that way. I doubt that visual test thing (capcha is it?) would be very convenient for the human players. The one in RSC got frustrating, and i doubt anything of the sort ingame would be successful. And as for doing in account creation, i thought the accounts were created manually, but just run by a bot after passing tutorial island.

Serious topic? So u admit ur last one was spam. Uh...good job? Anyway, of course not. People are paying for the game, if they want to obtain as much from their money as they can, they are allowed to. Besides, jagex really doesn't care, it's not their fault or problem.

2nd number of account wise of course. Revenue wise it would be left in the dust, because it only charges a fraction of other mmos (good thing for us, bad for jagex and these survey things) and thus would make only a fraction in total profits as well. And even then, only 1/9 of the accounts are paid for, the rest are f2p, cutting revenues even more.

I don't see the benefit here. Obviously when resold, the cash you get for it is less than what was paid for it. So you end up with a loss, possibly a significant one. Why not just rent it? I'm not sure about everything you said though, clarify por favor?

The good thing in licensed games is how they give achievement points so easily. I might rent it if it gives an easy gamerscore (xbox 360, that is).

Because it's so simple and easy to play. Not to mention accessibility. Unlike other mmos that require a launcher, u can play rs right on the browser.

Its more about balance than realism. Who would use scimitars or daggers if u cud swing a huge hammer or axe at the same speed? And nobody uses 2 handed weapons? Ever seen someone hold an M16 with a shield?

Matter of fact, this is exactly what happened to me. When I reached higher levels purely in f2p, i decided to keep it that way as a mark of accomplishment. I would bet i wud have turned member a long time ago if not. I always thought it would be a smart idea to have a message pop up saying "wan't more things to do? Get members for only $5 a month!", once you finish all f2p quests, or have played for a certain amount of time. I think B would be more uniform, and would seem more logical. I hope it never happens, seeing I have many 60 and 70+ skills. And regardless to say, this would be a massive affront to the f2p populace, which makes up a majority of runescape. If jagex makes an RS3, this would probably be the first thing they do. Yeah, right.

I'd spend the first day in a bot-hunting spree, given I have enough time of course.

In addition to it being long overdue, we are only defending ourselves when some p2p folks go "omg the f2p know how to vote?" and "why won't they stop whining!". And what do you expect, making a thread like this and then complaining about the flame-fest? Maybe next time the p2p airheads who like demeaning the f2p players won't start in the first place.

I don't have either, although i prefer the psp for the sole reason that my friends who got the ds became pokemon fanatics. Can you imagine a 16/17 year old going "Omg is that a shiny lvl 100 lukigolfjsdfjk? Ill play you for it!"? Man! Its embarrassing! Other than that, i would advise on MGS: portable ops, FF anniversary and god of war: chains of Olympus (coming soon).

Jagex can't take out short swords, what will the newbies at tutorial island use? :) And warhammers do have a use, its just that its so inflexible (every weapon has 2 attack styles, warhmmer has only crush), ppl tend not to use it.
