Too wii or not to Wii

Milestone... of a sort
Isn't it? To spend so much time as to overtake approx 8 million players globally, taking as many as 10,000 hours of play to do so? Seriously, any community with an internet connection would have hundreds of kids who would recognize the name Zezima. If that isn't a life achievement, what is?

Ruining Runescape 1 day at a time :/
Fair enough, but it's better off you just not continue anymore, or get flamed to eternity by everyone here. And how can goldfarmers "ruin" the game if it lowers prices? Wouldn't that be a plus to keep them? NOT that I'm suggesting that. :-w.

Thoughts on wrong virtual couples and what to do?
Well, two things established. One thing is that Rabbit is an immature, stubborn and inexperienced (at any rate) teen, trying to hit off with a 34 year old woman, who could be anything from a nice lady to a 60 year old male pedophile pretending to be a woman. Second thing is you did your part, no use feeling guilty or disappointed. Perhaps you can report it directly to jagex or something, but other than that I doubt there's much to be done.

Favorite game series?
Half-life, i would agree. But Sonic? You must mean the earlier games and not the more recent ones (so half the series). Well, the sonics up to sonic adventure 2 to be exact. I hope im not going off-topic, but guess what! Rumors are surfacing of Bioware undertaking a Sonic-rpg. It's hard to believe I know. But if an incredible developer company like Bioware can't revive Sonic, then its a sign that Sonic is dead. PS: I read it in the latest issue of Game Informer (august 2007). I should make a thread about this or something. EDIT: here's a link. http://www.bioware.com/bioware_info/press_releases/2007_06_21_Sonic_DS/

The ps2 has sold 96 Million more consoles than the X-Box
That's a HUGE reason its selling, the Wii is just the "in" thing. Probably 2/3 the sales were to non-gamers. A lot of Nintendo hardcore fans were getting annoyed that they were not getting enough attention with GOOD games, and not INNOVATIVE games. The innovation gets tiring after a while anyway. But Nintendo made up for that in e3. Metroid Prime 3, SSB-Brawl, what else can you ask for?

Ok well...
Get Resistance: Fall of Man. I believe it is one of the best ps3 games at the moment. Or you could wait for a whole slew of games in the near future.

Halo 3, Finish the fight?
It isn't overrated. It just has too many folks comfortable saying that because of Halo's massive fanbase. I would bet everyone who says that is either anti-FPS or anti-xbox. Negative captain. Halo 1 and 2 have disappointed me so far, and I am a big FPS fan and love my xbox. Fair enough, but for the most part, many pro-Playstation and pro-rpg folks tend to hate Halo. Maybe its because halo is xbox's flagship title and is an fps, as opposed to the various rpg's that have Sony exclusivity (is that a word?). Back on topic, to aquariusman. THAT, was a storyline that would make Orson Scott Card proud. It would be most interesting if it was like how you said. I like how you got the "2 of both species being saved" and the "bible is a deteriorated journal of all this". [hide=Reveals the end of the 4th Halo book, contains some spoilers]However, I read the 4th Halo book, the Ghosts of Onyx, and I have another, simpler story. It explains how Onyx was a sanctuary-planet, meant as a bunker from the Halo's destruction. What if the Earth (remember the Ark) is also a sanctuary, and the humans are forerunners who survived from the first activation of the Halo, but just forgot their legacy and technology?[/hide] Or...Maybe I'll just wait for Halo 3 and have fun with that.

Ruining Runescape 1 day at a time :/
I cannot discern any real topic in this thread, but I'll try my best. China cannot be sued, and that is possibly the stupidest suggestion I've ever heard. Why sue China anyway? Their government is not behind goldfarmers, and the existence of goldfarmers on an online videogame is the least of geopolitical worries. Track down the people farming maybe, but you can't blame this on the government. The f2p servers will NEVER go down. 99% of members started off as f2p. Using that logic, only 1% of the potential income through members will remain if the free servers are closed. Over all, it would hurt jagex more to close the f2p servers than to pay a little to keep them running. Jagex will likely increase the price tag on runescape, but only if the quality of the gameplay increases with it. More fun to play= more you gotta pay. So there is no extreme damage to us, the players. In the long run maybe it may hurt, but it would take long enough that you wouldn't be playing runescape that long anyway. Stop worrying I say, the game is quite good now, enjoy it. PS: To be honest, the spelling/grammer of the author is actually not very legible. I have NO idea what you said on the topics of construction, phats, and whatever else in that last paragraph. Correct the spelling, you should.

F2P Drop Party
You talk like you're rich... I'm F2P and I am the proud owner of a red partyhat, red mask, and santa hat. Idoitic Image Half the people in this picture were F2P...and anyway, it's not like people drop anything great at drop parties.. Am I suppose to care about your pixels? Lmao....... I don't care what the hell you say. F2P will always be poorer. Lol F2P for life. Can't afford 5 bucks? Oh cmon, you know thats not fair to say. F2p may be poorer, but you should feel horrible for reconfirming cronocus's claims that p2p have a lot of arrogant members who think they are superior just because they dish out five bucks a month to a videogame. I don't think that, but its the first impression i got when i saw your quote. And who are you to say he can't afford 5 bucks? he may be a hundred times richer than you, but like me, just doesn't value rs enough to pay anything. Anyway, i've read a lot of your quotes, but they were intelligent and not derogatory like that. It'd be nice if you not say something crude like that again.

So how much gold have YOU ever had?
Not to be rude but i got 52m in 1 month starting from scratch in non member =D No. Way. Man, over 2 years and only 4mil. :wall: Then again, I only play in holidays and weekends.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
I'm not sure if you played the first CoD, but CoD2 was amazing. And CoD3 wasn't as great, but it wasn't that bad. You must have the wrong series, I've never heard anyone not like CoD.

Spanking- a sexual offense?
I don't think its THAT bad, except for the defendants maybe. I mean, at least now middle-schoolers will keep their hands in their pockets when in public view. And if the girls in question were offended (or offended several times before), it could have gone much worse. In any case, folks will think twice before slapping some girl's butt without any consent from said girl. And also, it looks ridiculous for the local judicial system. Now that it happened once (and should the plaintiffs lose, or the case be thrown out), another case like this won't happen again. It had to happen once.

Halo 3, Finish the fight?
There were rumors of Bungie working on another title, nicknamed "forerunner", probably about the forerunner race before the events of Halo: Fall of Reach. Then it all but vanished when the development of Halo 3 and Halo Wars was announced. Who knows? Such a high selling title could easily have a prequel created later. And yeah, i always loved the halo storyline, because everything is connected to each other somehow. Plenty of "ohh!" moments. As for the end, i think the Arbiter will be killed, like all other Arbiters before him. The Flood will be destroyed or re-contained. The human race will be revealed as the forerunners (lots of evidence they are), and will be considered as leaders of the Covenant, or the Covenant itself will be disbanded. Either that, or the Halos activate and destroy all life in the galaxy, except for the human race. This is because the Ark is supposedly on Earth, and like Noah's Ark, it will save humanity from the Flood, and the Halo's blast.

Save 3000 strangers OR 1 person you love?
I would choose to save a loved one, if it was a question i had to answer quickly. If i was given a day or so to think it over, I would be inclined to save 3000 people. I've lost loved ones before, I wouldn't want to inflict that pain on three thousand families, who might do the same if they were in my position. And it is much easier to justify the death of one person to save three thousand, I wouldn't feel guilty forever.

Any Game Ever Scared The Crap Out of You?
That is Gears of War. Oh, tell your buddy to start using something else. Chainsaws are considered a noob weapon, if used too often. A lot like the "noob combo" from halo 2. PS: Try getting head-shotted in gears! THAT is startling.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
You mean "previewed", not "reviewed". Oh yea, i read that article too. Good stuff  .

The ps2 has sold 96 Million more consoles than the X-Box
so say bye-bye to some of those games. Wtf? Do you think that they announce a game and find a flaw in the development and just cancel it? and it isn't hard to develop for blu-ray Yeah, if the flaw is serious enough, the game could easily be cancelled. It's happened plenty of times in videogame history. BUT i don't see how this has to do with the ps2 or xbox. And no, i don't think its that much harder to develop for blu-ray than DVD. But I've read articles on how microsoft's software is easier for game developers to work with. No idea on the hardware (format that is) though.

Method in their madness?
I agree here. A lot of people in f2p are having fun with it, and should be fun for a few more months till the excitement wears off.

F2P Drop Party
Oddly, there are large numbers of p2p folks in the f2p party rooms. I dare to say they are spying...Then again, most of the decent drops come from p2pers who just humor the rest of people. I got 50 trout noted, 2 saphs and a steel plate in 1 party. Thats around 2k worth, more than i could ask for. I think the party rooms are more use in f2p anyway. AND its a massive drain on objects and cash. Well, for me anyway.

The Ducks Now?
This is what happens when you think too hard on the subject of duck domination. But yeah, ducks can talk alright. The can say "quack", "quack!" and "quack?". Not very original, them ducks.

Empire - Christaphor Paulini: Predictions
I agree, and either everyone else does or they noticed it for themselves. I realized the similarities the first time when i saw an episode of X-PLAY, on G4, when they rated the Eragon videogame. It was funny when i saw the star wars in it the first time.

Deaf or Blind?
Helen Keller was BOTH, blind and deaf. She could only feel, taste, and smell. Yet, she became a lecturer and author, graduating magnum [bleep] laude from a college for the blind. She was the first blind/deaf person ever to graduate from college. Imagine that? Honestly, I wouldn't want to imagine what it is like being blind or deaf. Given a choice however, I would probably choose to be deaf, since deaf people can relate to sound by feeling vibrations. The blind cannot relate to sight at all.
