I don't consider myself a "pro-gamer". Makes me feel like I'll grow up to play games in my mother's house. But the first game I played was probably when I was 6-7, when my brother enjoyed trouncing me in Mortal Kombat.

Are you saying that the reason the PS2 sold more than the xbox was because of the PS2 was out longer? you're saying that the xbox would of sold more if it was out before and had a previous gen console? He is saying the reason it sold more is it had a reputation behind it. The playstation was largely popular. People had no idea what the Xbox was all about when it came out. I doubt the 360 will break 20mil. The PS2 was successful because it was for everyone, it had every genre and a great price. It wasn't because of its fanbase, its release date or anything like that. It was because of how good of a console it was. U know thats a bet you would lose. The 360 already has 11+ mil, and it hasn't lost momentum. A better assumption would be that the ps3 wouldn't break 20 mil in years, maybe not even 10 mil within 2 years. Remains to be seen though. And you realize all those criteria could be applied to like, every console that's every existed (except maybe the price part, *cough* ps3 *cough*). The facts that the ps1 created a massive fanbase, and that its rivals were a first-timer (xbox) and a console with few games (gamecube) were a major reason for its sales. True, it had a great library, and that was another reason it was superior. But since the ps3 has none of these advantages (or any advantage at all), i doubt it will ever garner sales like those of the ps2.

Yea, it is a gamer rule never to buy a licensed game (that is, based on a movie or book). I believe only the spiderman, king kong, and marvel alliance games are any good. But if you have cash to burn, go for it i suppose.

Heard of Tom Clancy's Endwar? Its the newest installment of the Tom Clancy games. Its something of a MMO-RTS. Sounds pretty cool to me, and the setting is nearly identical to that of World in Conflict. Um, Gears of War is coming out for the PC, but its not ur genre. Ever try warhammer 40k? Pretty good. Oh, if patience is a virtue that you mastered, try Civ 4. They have a new expansion of some sort, that introduces sci-fi, fantasy, and more historical scenarios to play. Since you already have SCII in your agenda, why not try SC1? Furstratingly enough for me, I can't seem to find a copy in any nearby store. They're still sold out! :wall:

For Heaven's sake, don't get a licensed game (harry potter). Like 90% of the time, they're no good. Look up the ratings from videogame sites online before you buy anything. But Call of Duty never disappoints. Oh, out of the three you have your eyes on, they're all good I hear. Perhaps not Godfather, but Marvel Ultimate Alliance is pretty good for the 360, and probably for the ps3 as well. And Oblivion may just be one of the best rpg's of all time (GET IT).

Those are good for normal training, but suicidal for a 1-def pure. I believe its like 8k cows to reach lvl 60 from 1, if u wanna try that. :thumbsup: Personally, I would stick with low level monsters, like cows/goblins/monks, because of ur 1 def.

Instead they probably mean "win 1 game". Win your first game to sign up = As soon as you win a game you may sign up. But then again, I never played beta, if theres any proof from there.

It does get noisy sometimes when initially started up, but it fades off. Or maybe its just me not realizing it... And don't sweat the break-down thing, the warranty has you covered. It doesn't really break-down like you may hear anyway. I've had mine for half a year and its fine.

Um, still not sure what you mean by "mainstream"...So far, im thinking "something nobody has ever heard of".... Anyway, you should try some rap groups instead of individual rappers. Try three 6 mafia, wu-tang clan, or bone thugs-n-harmony. Personally, my favorite rappers would be 2pac, ice cube, snoop dogg (not that great now), and eminem. Honestly, the older the rapper is, the better he probably is. I suppose some "mainstream" rappers i like are The Game, young jeezy and lil wayne/birdman. Did i mention MC Hammer :XD: ? ...And try Vanilla Ice for encore :thumbsup: .

I don't think its so bad. The source of all the negative attitudes is just competition in my opinion, folks want to make other folks feel inferior. Either that, or its just an attempt of persuasion. A feeble-minded person would be swayed by these simple insults and would either cave in, or become angry at it. Conclusion: Don't sweat it, the real world gets much worse.

Seeing how many people suggested Jack of Blades, I'm confused. To be honest, I thought he was a horrible villain. Minus the mask, he was almost a joke to fight (difficulty wise). And he just wasn't developed enough in the storyline of fable. He came, he caused some ruckus, and died on cue.
