Forget the mp3 players guys....Back on topic. Nobody feels disdain towards the gold farmers themselves, but everybody hates the system. So different people find different reasons to hate it. Some folks point out the buyers, some the farmers themselves. Problem is, no matter how bad the farmers have it, they are holding the system up. Since they are the biggest pillar here, they are the priority to be removed. True, getting rid of the buyers would solve the problem temporarily, but the farmers would remain and would continue selling these goods to the inevitable next wave of buyers. So the way I see it, the only way to end goldfarming is eliminating the farmers first. Sure they have it bad, but so do a quite a few billion other people around the world. Goldfarming solves nothing, just serves as a medium for poverty, and ruins the game for us to boot. Verdict? Feel sympathy for them, but don't support them.

Agreed. Many people try to make all-in-one pker accounts that end up failing miserably in range and mage. Truth is, the most dangerous pker in the wildy for f2p is the tank range. Seriously, I've never beaten one yet without resorting to prayer. Even with the severe lack of combat options in f2p, there is a certain balance. Mage is best for low-level accounts, range for mid-range, and melee is the easiest to train, but is most effective at the highest levels. All the skills are fine the way they are now. Range and melee have their one-two hitters, and magic's versatility is enough IMO. But regardless, range is in no severe need for any kind of update at the moment.

And not to mention the deteriorating relations with America. It's like it's going Soviet all over again, thus the possibility of a new cold war.

Cutting isn't something to show off anyway. People poke fun at it because it is arguably the biggest reason why 'emos' are disliked. Thus, the hating occurs. People who cut their wrists, arms, or any other area that shows easily are just looking for attention. Agreed. Although many non-emo people cut their wrists, I still consider it appalling. High school junior, been playing RS for a while now. I was quite the loser back when I first started, since I just moved here. Strangely my social life grew exponentially the longer I had my runescape account. I don't play much anymore, but I vow not to quit, ever. :notalk: I also vow never to talk about it to any of my friends. :anxious:

Strange how the defense of prejudices doesn't arise in religious forums around here, but never mind that. I'm not much aware of the differences between Goths and emos, it'd be nice if someone can enlighten me, other than the music part. Perhaps folks who consider themselves emos aren't what stereotypes generalize them to be, but it doesn't change the fact that some emos do exist who do act as stereotypes suggest. Not all emos are cutters, or act depressed and such, but many do, which gets pretty alarming and influences what people think. I'm not sure why emos qualify as gay, but many of the things that happen are somewhat taboo. Needless to say, I'm opposed to things like cutting and the depression act, but I don't hate them or anything. And can someone tell me what the group hug is for?.......

Contrary to definition most emo kids listen to neither punk rock nor actually act overly emotional, they just follow the stupid dress code. And I do dislike the Goth clothing much more, and needless to say I'd burn Hot Topic to the ground if I could. I can make room for their music though, I appreciate all kinds of music. I can't even wear my favorite black jacket in fear of being called emo anymore. I remember wearing full black on my first freshman day and everyone in school referring to me as the emo kid....Brr.... And seriously, the lipstick has to go. Seriously.

I payed the idiot goblin a whopping 10k for the map, and I had lvl 40+ magic to boot. I remember trying to fight the lvl 27 demon in the stone circle, in full mithril, a ton of food, and full prayer. I didn't lose 1 hp. Opposite of newbish perhaps, But I felt like an wuss with all that gear strapped on to fight a demon 10 lvls lower than me. I remember accidentally paying 40k for blk legs and not blk t legs. Worst I was ever scammed. And the worst ever? Someone offered me a Santa hat for my rune t that I had before. I declined, not knowing how much they were worth.

Yeah! Go Freshman friday! It was amusing seeing Seniors throwing around Freshman for fun.... :uhh:. Although everyday is Freshman friday for us... But otherwise most Juniors hardly ever see the Freshmen anyway. Except for me, I got 2 classes with them, Chorus and Health, since I didn't take it yet. Ah...joy. PS: Is it me growing, or is it the Freshmen getting smaller each year? :-s
