Like you said, "draw me" doesn't look good, right? Might as well go the other way. And your sliced bread analogy is so horribly out of context, I can't explain. You're better of saying "do me" than "this is funny dur", in my honest opinion. And to be totally honest, paperclips is oblivious to sarcasm, reverse psychology, and everything else in the world. :anxious:

I haven't played AoK much, but I enjoy AoM more...It's more innovative and interesting at least.

The original Prince of Persia...Holy God, it doesn't get more frustratingly difficult than that. A strong man would be reduced to tears. Then Megaman games always annoyed me on medium difficulty....Don't ask me about hard.
-
Don't you dare draw me. Mark my words, if you draw me........Or else.... :shame: I'm not kidding, don't even try. I mean seriously, I will not be pleased. Just a friendly warning not to draw me. In case you missed it, don't draw me.

Protestant Christian. Btw, pastafarianism is ftl. I hope mentioning pieism won't evoke a flame war, but yeah, pie ftw.

He's English, he'll be used to the disappointment by now. Are you mocking the English? Go you! I am the English. Your point? I meant your cricket team. And of course, the entire purpose of sports is to hate the opposing teams for apparently little reason. There's "English cuisine"? Strange, I don't see many of those. :| BTW, I love the British. They got bagpipes, leprechauns, and Hogwarts!

He's English, he'll be used to the disappointment by now. Are you mocking the English? Go you! Yuvraj Singh....He's a newbie. But anybody who can hit six 6's is alright in my book. If I was him, I would say this to the Umpire and bowler: HOWZ ZAT!!?!? To fellow Americans, hitting six sixes is possibly as hard as hitting the 756th homerun, except without the asterisk for steroid use.

There won't be. Halo 3 is the end of the trilogy. Im not 100% sure, but i think i heard on G4 that Microsoft approved the making of a Halo 4. NOTE: I didn't watch the ending, so if it ends in this one dont tell me. Err....no...Halo 3 is the end of the main storyline, and there'll be no Halo 4. However, there are actually 2 games rumored to be in development, one Halo Wars and some other Bungie title, quite possible a prequel, or perhaps even yet another trilogy to add to the Halo universe (before the first book). It was called 'forerunner' for a while, but it kinda disappeared from view...And yeah, nothing stopping the creation of more spinoffs.

Props to you for remembering Talk-Like-A-Pirate Day! And...yeah...Read the article people...He isn't being serious. You don't become a senator by being an idiot. Well, maybe you can, but you get my point.

Feeling the same way, Del. Don't worry about that, Halo 3 finished development in the beginning of September, it won't be delayed.

Why is tip.it behind Zybez on google?
underu2000 replied to happybappy's topic in General Discussion
THAT is the question, isn't it? If the number of clicks determine how high a placement the website gets, how many people actually use those gold-buying websites? :ohnoes: No wonder the goldfarmer/autoer problem is so bad. -
What's with all the cutesy pictures and not funnier ones?.... Kill the kittens, or something...We need....Illusionist cats! Back to invisible stuff... Here's a present for you reb!

Yeah....runescape won't last forever. Either Jagex will abandon it eventually, or it will create some other mmo, rs3 perhaps.

And I love it! Is it just me, or are you a little plump or something? :anxious:

Heh, that's once in a lifetime. What amused me the most is how all the passerby's just walked calmly like it was routine exercise. Idiots, the kid might have gotten hurt, the guy could have been arrested or something, and all they did was blink and keep walking. At least the woman had some common sense.

Skinny as in scrawny, not as in healthy thin. I would rather be slightly bulky than skinny actually...Although at 5'6, 140lb, i seem pretty fitish. I'm happy with myself....Just need to work on mah pex....

It wouldn't take somebody long to figure out that everybody here is insulted by you calling them losers. Yes, we're trying to prove you wrong and make you look bad, anything short would be accepting all that nonsense you spouted as plausible. And the fact that you're apparently close-minded in this discussion makes the whole thing pointless. I won't say 'ignorance is bliss', since I won't call you ignorant, but just get your thoughts straight.

I like how blunt you are. Takes some guts to do that. But the core mechanic of your principle is that, as people play more, they become addicts and thus become rude and vulgar? I doubt anybody who is addicted becomes overly rude, at least I know I was still nice when I seriously played runescape. And even if they become less social in real life, does it mean they are vulgar in-game as well? Hm, it's a lot of assumptions. But yeah, that's a new thought isn't it? "Stop blaming the new kids", people need to learn it. It does get annoying how some self-righteous players blame runescapes problems on new players. That being said, fact is that most misdeeds (scams, hacks, whatnot) are done by lowish levels or inexperienced and immature players. Statistics are that higher levels (addicts and such) are usually not like that. So you can't blame the veterans, or newbies, or any group. Everybody takes responsibility for their actions in a real utopia, hopefully people will come to that conclusion eventually. But I get your point(s).

Hello, welcome to tipit. See, thing about runescape is that it's an rpg, which means that nothing requires skill, just time and patience. Show me one true, turn-based mmorpg that doesn't require some level grinding and I'll show you an unsuccessful game. When I look at somebody with a 99, I think "oh wow, they must have spent a lot of time and effort on that, and only because they have patience and determination I don't." Think about it, the day you get a high level, would you look at yourself and say "wow, I should have done something better all this time"? Ridiculous. So you're saying that after spending hours and hours on a game, we are not allowed to show it off? Forget looking good, forget doing the smart thing, it's about the ego, showing that we, are in fact better than other players in yet another way. It adds to the competition in the game, making the MMO part of an mmorpg. And I'll assume you've never worn a good brand name clothing in your life. Yeah, winning is fun. A game wouldn't be a game if you couldn't be a winner. Does that give you the right to mock those who are better than you in the game? Absolutely not, whatever happens to those people are not your business, and you, I assume young, are in NO PLACE to judge others like that. Wrong or not, it's their problem not yours, don't worry about it. Perhaps, the game is aimed at young people. It so happens young people are not always mature. And that one isolated incident hardly counts as proof that 40% of runescape is under 13. Scammers are idiotic morons who desire nothing more than sheer virtual profit despite the fact that it provides little entertainment at all. Don't mistake it with all runescape players, or anybody except scammers themselves. Nobody uses leetspeak. Nobody. It's a stereotype that characterizes annoying players. What you just wrote is NOT leetspeak, its chatspeak. And it is used mainly to save time typing. Everybody uses it at least once, even you. And as for the people who spam it and do stupid things, you just saw a few of the immature people in runescape. It so happens the real world is filled with them too, go out and look. EDIT: Woops, I skipped this. Runescape is a game geared to a young audience, and Jagex tries its best to reduce the learning curve. I bet new players would find that many things are helpful to them because they're easy. As for difficulty, look around. Many quests require thinking, many places are much more complex than the basic tenets of combat, etc. And if you think there's nothing more to fighting than eating food, you wouldn't last long in PvP. There is more than the fair share of difficulty in runescape, you have to stop ignoring it and looking at all the easy parts only. Did you just suggest removing trading from the game? That is a terrible idea, I hope you realize it. The game revolves around trading, so does the real world. Why don't you walk up to a random person in the street and ask for a buck? Getting rid of trading and money would eliminate autoers and everybody else who plays the game. And if it isn't obvious, you don't trust low levels as much. They have less to lose, and I'm sure you know all this. If you find a dozen or so high levels who do it, then I'll be amazed and accept that runescape is corrupted. Until then, bad example. They do EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER to stop it, short of making all runescape members. Guess what? It's not working, but at least they're trying. And how about you? Do you report or send in lists of autoers to jagex? I would assume not, with that attitude. Short of mass IP banning, how do you resolve we stop scamming? The day you find out, the day you tell jagex. No, you underestimate what people can do with a little creativity, and in this case, Java. Jagex accomplished what Blizzard did with a fraction in time and cost. Granted, Blizzard is a better gamemaker company than Jagex, but it doesn't mean runescape is bad. How many times must people hear "graphics aren't everything"? Runescape rivals WoW in gameplay and game mechanics. Money barely matters in WoW because it is ONLY PvP. How can you call runescape "basic" when WoW has such a meager economy? If anything WoW has outdated graphics (for its potential), it is has severe limitations in certain aspects, and yes, it's days are numbered, just like every other game out there. And what is bad about being simple. Don't you know that is runescape's biggest success is its simplicity? Anybody can play it, anywhere, for free. NOTE:WoW, is a better game than runescape, I agree. I just disagree with your statement that "runescape is completely useless and WoW is godly". Oh, and your statements are hypocritical and somewhat contradictory, since you talked before about how people devote their lives to videogames. WoW has a lot more of those. Sorry if I came on a bit hard, but it had to be said. You heard my reasons, your thoughts on runescape are your own still.

No...that doesn't happen. For Heaven's sake man, if we removed rule 12 then EVERYBODY would be goldfarming/macroing! Your examples don't have to do with real life trading at all. It would only be wrong if you sold that bandos hilt for 200 bucks, or if you sold that 50m instead of giving it away. There's a pretty thick line between giving gifts and selling for profit. Thus, rule 12 is not only fair, its necessary.

Well, there are reasons aren't they? Which makes the "there's no reason to be f2p" argument baseless. Whether they're good or not is relative. And of course you make the most of your $5 candy. Do you throw it out halfway through? Of course not! It's a bad analogy to start with, since you have a choice to play rs free or for pay. But let's say you get that candy for free. Do you still care as much about it? No; therefore you are less bound to it, and don't have to obtain as much as you can out of it through necessity. No one says "oh you're only lvl 70" in f2p, it's higher than average and is respectable. In fact, a lvl 70 in f2p is the equivalent of a 90 or so in p2p. Me for example, have only a 1005 total. It may not seem much for a member, but in f2p that's much higher than average. And how many people say "you're a lvl 70? Cool! Being a mem makes that really exceptional!". Even less than those who would say that about f2p, I can assure you. Perhaps it is more challenging to raise an p2p character than an f2p character in the long run, but if you're thinking about the long run, then don't be f2p at all. If you want to play runescape in more than modest amounts, then by all means, be a member.

I'm open.

Exactly Just because some folks decided to throw around cash as soon as they hit level 20 doesn't mean there aren't reasons. And besides, can you read? There are plenty of reasons already listed. Look up^. I'm f2p myself, just because I decided I don't want to bind myself to runescape. Since I don't pay, there is no reason to 'make the most of my money'. Granted, it's only 5 bucks, but that's 5 bucks that I'm wasting if I don't play enough. Then there's all that about more challenge, more respectable high levels, etc etc. But if you plan on playing rs seriously, you might want to make an alternate account and pay for that one. That is, if this account is too high level. If this account is fairly low level, you might as well go p2p now.
