  1. Haven't played much in the past few months due to university life grabbing hold of me. However, I did manage to spend a day almost weekly in order to acquire the regular strange rocks in order to finish off my ground floor study. Usually took me 10-15 hours to get all the rocks. Now that I'm done I'll be focusing on maxing my last few skills. For those of you interested in getting this activity done as well, here's a list of my methods: Agility - best course Crafting - gold amulets in edge furnace Smithing - iron knives varrock west (pack yack is optional) Cooking - rocktails in cooking guild (cooking gauntlets) Fishing - Monkfish Herblore - cleaning farming herbs Farming - herb rounds Firemaking - mapes in Draynor Village (don't forget your ring of fire and flame gloves) Hunter - draconic jadinkos Fletching - maple longs (u) Construction - oak dungeon doors Mining - concentrated gold ore in the Living Rock Caverns Thieving - Master Farmer north of Ardougne Runecrafting - Bloods through Abyss or ZMI Woodcutting - Ivy along the northern wall of varrock castle Some locations are chosen because of their proximity to each other. For example, I start smithing at the anvils in Varrock West, cooking in the cooking guild, woodcutting at Varrock palace, and then move on to crafting and runecrafting from Edgeville. Cheers \:D/
  2. Hot, I'll give that guy a visit then :D Good luck all, let's break xp records.
  3. I'm on the side of the RWTers on this one. Main reason for this being that I too think that it is highly likely that kids buying their cash instead of grinding for it themselves, will spend the time saved on the outside world instead of taking their new funds and grinding all buyable skills to heck. Yup, no logic flaws there.
  4. Weren't you toy horsey guy?

  5. He doesn't really have too many other skills left, eh. Congrats, at least you're slaying, too bad it's strength instead of defence. ;)
  6. Good day, I'd like to comment on the content of the 'Do No Evil' quest guide, I believe it features some errors in the section needing ropes, starting from step 19. Namely, I believe the rope to the Smokey Well is option as it sticks if you've been down that well before. However, the ropes to the Kalphite Queen are necessary no matter how many times you've been there. This should be changed in the banking interface. Moreover, in step 22 Kalphite Queen is written without a capital Q, might want to correct it if we're to keep our professional image up eh. :P Furthermore, I'd like to add some improvements to the guide as it might help players make some decisions more easily. First, I would like the guide to mention the effectiveness of void ranged armour in the fight against Ayuni in step 23. I assume normal ranged armour + ranged protection prayer works just as well. Turning 'armour' to 'Ranging armour/ranged attack bonus armour' in the banking interface or simply mentioning it will, I believe, give the reader a better idea what type of armour is sufficient to defeat Ayuni. Moreover, on the subject of choc-ice delivery, I've completed the 25 deliveries and wouldn't mind writing a short guide on how to manage the 5th choc-ice delivery, as it has a shorter melting time. Even if I've only used the jail method it could provide those interested with some insights in how to manage the ice while going through the Ape Atoll Jungle. Finally, in your tips and tricks guide you mention the use of Pollnivneach teletabs after the Love Story quest, however, you fail to mention the easier and cheaper alternative: slayer rings. Cheers.
  7. Nope, you're still on there, besides, friends chat is on :)
  8. Playing time: 284 days, 8 hours, doing the math comes down to 43,966 xp/hour. Recently achieved 99 farming and 97 herblore, I've got the ingredients to make 1,000 overloads which will finish off herblore as soon as the next bonus weekend arrives. Currently working on 99 crafting while doing some slayer on the side. Cheers.
  9. Most awesome thing in there has to be the visage. 10/10 Obviously.

    Kissing

More contradictions, more hypocrisy. How can anybody keep up with this society? What? Show me the contradiction and hypocrisy in that. He's referring to the fact that you substract the meaning of a kiss from the fact that it will be discussed by others. In other words, that makes it meaningless. Sadly, I feel the same.
  13. On the Déjà Vu article, I agree that quests are becoming repetitive, but is that not a consequence of having an increasing amount of quests? I mean, there are only so many possibilities you can put into a quest without displeasing half of the RuneScape questers community. Make it as easy as 'Collect X' and you'll be flamed because it's too easy. Put in more hard puzzles players dislike the quest because of the hard puzzles. Put in fights leading to hard boss monsters, you get flamed for being too combat based or too simple in structure. And now this article is there, voicing the questing community's displeasure at quests who mix all of these aspects into quests with different dimensions of difficulty. That does not leave them with many options left now does it? I think the way they build up their quests is the only way possible, really. Easy/Easier quests ecompass just one of three difficulty dimensions, harder quests encompass two or three dimensions with varying difficulty, and the master quests are built up out of all three dimensions as well as containing at least the highest level of one of three dimensions of difficulty. I do not see another way to build up quest difficulty.
  14. There's a fat chance that in America more people will join the army just to let the government pay their degree.
