Oldest slayer level up I could find, that was on the16th of october 2007. In the time between then and now I've come quite a long way, game-wise. I've gained 9 more maxed skills on the way to 99 slayer. After this picture I first got 99 woodcutting, after that 99 fletching, 99 defence, attack, hitpoints, strength, fishing, cooking and now, finally, 99 slayer: Here's a little list of my 99's with dates of achievement. 07-07-2007 --> 99 firemaking 10-11-2007 --> 99 woodcutting 16-12-2007 --> 99 fletching 03-01-2009 --> 99 defence 04-05-2009 --> 99 attack 14-06-2009 --> 99 hitpoints 05-08-2009 --> 99 strength 22-12-2009 --> 99 fishing 11-01-2009 --> 99 cooking 15-08-2010 --> 99 slayer As you can see 99 slayer took me longer than expected :P but I've done a lot of things in between. I didn't piety or cannon any of it, so it could've gone quicker, but I never had much interest in either of the methods. No staves of light because I have not gotten a fire cape yet, at combat level 136. The score is currently wouter 0 - Jad 3. <_< Whilst getting 99 slayer I got 37 dragon boots drops, 2 dragon medium helmets, 2 dragon spears, 1 dragon skirt, 6 dark bows and 15 whips in around 600 tasks. I am currently 94 summoning and 85 prayer. I have the bones for 99 prayer banked and 3k blues and 3k crimsons to use, though I might wait with using those until another bonus weekend, but we'll see about that.. ;) Now, as I browsed through the 99 pictures stored on my old computer, I noticed that I recognised a lot of old faces that have now stopped playing. I'd like to thank those who came to celebrate with me at the 10 99's I achieved, those who have been friends with me through this game for a long time, and who've helped and seen me achieve so many things. And a big thanks to Turnpikes and Trobigod for being my slayer buddies, sorta :razz: I've always been in either BSC or HYT chat because the conversation is what makes this game enjoyable for me, and I hope that's what keeps it interesting for me for a long time to come :) Thanks all, That's it for now.

I disagree with the no prayer comment, I never use prayer on my tasks there, I just tank it with a pony. Take a lob or two to get through their aggressive period. I agree with the extremes and the SS > ZS comments. As I have explained above.

I think you should add that taking nats + fire staff/fire runes to alch drops like addy chains, rune meds and mith full helms is worthwhile. Especially when not praying. It can save you a load of inventory space in the end. Also, waterfiends, at least the ones in the ancient caverns, tend to drop me ranarr seeds, which should be added to the stackable worthwhile drops list. And I'd argue that the saradomin sword is the best choice for waterfiends due to it's strength bonus compared to the mere 5 crush difference. I don't like it being called a 'good second choice' , if anything the zamorakian spear should be. I'd also like to mention that it would be nice, especially for unexperience players to actually know what the items in the setup pics are, I think a lot of the newbie questers out there have no idea that the helmet shown in the black dragonhide setup picture is the dwarven helmet from a quest. Give all the armour pieces suggested a name to let users know what they're actually looking at.

You can post your barrows rewards here if you feel like sharing it with the tip.it community. You'll find a lot of barrows rewards already being posted there, so you'll probably have a better time discussing your rewards with fellow barrow'ers. Enjoy your money, however ;)!

I use the defender most of the time. I only used to use the dfs on dragons tasks ( no need for that now with super antifires ), and now I use the dfs on nechs tasks cause I'm too lazy to use a unicorn and a yip isn't suffiicient healing without a dfs. SO if you need the defence bonus then you should use the dfs and if you don't then the defender should be in your left hand.
