Defense IS armor. I love defense. It's one of my favorite combat stats but I like to make sure all my combat stats are even.

I don't know the xp per hour but it IS slow and very tedious. Not worth the saved money from gilded altar imo.

I prefer the good 'ol fashion one tinderbox 8-) . I place mine one more to the right though.

Gnome Stronghold is my favorite yew cutting place too. Although, without your own yew tree it might be a little slow.

At 99 woodcutting with a dragon axe I can't get more xp than 60k/hour with willows. So thieving is definitely faster.

Which method would you suggest for a first timer? range or guthans?

Oh... :oops: I think that maybe because he hasn't logged in he hasn't gotten level 1 hunter yet, but he has 1 construction so I don't know.

How do you figure? He has 21 99's. That's 2079 total. 1 hunter and 1 construction would get him to 2081.
