Yeah, it's pretty fun. And it's definatly the "unofficial" server, so all of that talk can just be completed. You can even listen without necessarily having a microphone too!

The great Purple Phat Hoax! Hey guys - been doing some slayer, so haven't really had a chance for updates towards my DFS, but I have an even better update for ya! Past week or two, I've been using the "unofficial vent" server, hosted by Magus, hanging out and making friends in there. It's really fun playing RS while talking on mics, and we've created some pretty good friendships. Such good friendships.. that perhaps a practical joke is in order? Ego Scorpion is a friend of mine, known for having multiple party hat sets. We came up with the idea that he was going to "give me a purple phat for free" - and we obviously announced this over vent. I figured this was prime time to get back at people (since we all make fun of eachother) so Ego and I devised a plan. I went to his world (since a few of the guys in vent have me and him both on their friends list, and for it to look real, we had to obviously trade on the same world.) I geared myself up, took a deep breath, PM'd ego for the signal when to erupt. He says in vent "well there you go buddy!" and "start squeeling" in game...and I start flipping out. Talking really fast and just jumping all over the place. I'd like to think I had some half decent amatuer acting skills! Everyone starting going "you're so lucky!" to me over and over, insulting me and begging/whining off Ego and I immediatly in vent! It was so amazing, everyone was happy for me but still really mad and jealous (as would I be, if someone decided to give someone 170m for no reason RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!). I then took a picture of myself, and sent it to Ego. Since I obviously don't own a Purple Phat, he photoshopped it for me and sent it back! He didn't do it correctly, as you can see here, so I had to send it back to him! He fixed it and then sent it back to me.. I then posted the comment in vent, just to hear more groans.. One of the guys even logged off vent because he was so disgusted. This went on for a few more minutes, until Ego and I eventually spilled the beans. A friend of ours Hermon, through the whole joke, told Ego that if he was pulling a prank, he'd give him 100k. After the beans were spilt, Hermon went through with his word, and ego even gave me half of our "earnings"! That was so much fun ! Thanks for being such a good sport everyone!

I was in the process of killing green dragons lately (I'm just a big dragon fan), but I just don't care for the wilderness factors that much. Blue dragons are camped out like a mofo, and black dragons are just very cost inefficient. So with all of those options not being that great - I think I'm going to give this a try. The ONLY factor for me not wanting to do it would be the wild dogs, but if it's as easy to make them obsolete as you say, then it'll actually be pretty worth it. I'm going to give it a try pretty soon and if you're interested, I can give some feedback on my experiences.

Hey thanks, yeah, I know I'll be fine - just felt pretty stupid. Sold some things, didn't really have to dip into my DFS funds.

Just died at gargoyles.. long story short, I was under the impression the game would log you out if you didn't move or anything.. Full HP, went to grab some soda... Came back to see myself dying, ran back as fast as I could, there was a guy there named Zakirsd or something, he said he didnt see anything, and he would give it back if he did... Lost: Slayer mask, warrior ring, whip, obsidian cape, dragon boots, guthan helm, and guthan spear. I have a spare slayer mask and obsidian cape already, but going to dip into my DFS resources for the rest of the stuff... since I'm a freaking MORON and misunderstood RS' log out procedure... Anyway, buying everything back right now, looks like it's gonna be a good 8m or so... pretty bummed, but it's my own fault.. Time to get the stuff and go back to what I was doing..

Only a couple small updates, have been doing slayer lately, not working too too hard on the 24m goal. Did get a few things though: A little dagannoth slaying.. And that spear was nice, but.. So for this update, that's about 5m, bringing the total to I also tried for my firecape three times last night. First time I d/c'd on wave 58/ Second time I brought wayyyy too many brews and not enough restores, ran out of prayer on the 360 180/ 180 wave (here's a picture: Third time I got to jad, did awful on the prayers and he ripped me up. Gonna try again once or twice more today. That's all for now !

Hey thanks for all of the "good lucks" - I Haven't had too much of it in the past couple days since I created this blog. Ah, it'll come... I found out that the DFS doesn't block 100% dragon breath (for some reason I was under the impression it did), so I'm a little disappointing, but still a great shield,and still a main goal of mine... Most of the money from this update came from runes from barrowing, some of which I got a few days before this blog, but I'm counting them since that's what they were intended for, just hadn't posted the blog yet. [hide=Some updates (in no chronological order)] And before you make fun of me.. a few people asked me to tell them when I get an item - so buzz off! [/hide] So towards my goal, that's: bloods - 2.7m dharok's plate - 500k guilded kite - 500k guthix coif - 130k verac's skirt - 400k zamorak bracers - 150k I also sold 20,000 chaos for another 2.7m (missed the picture) That's a total of about 6.8m towards the goal! Bringing the grand total, to: [hide=Some monster killing adventures (no good drops)] [/hide]

I recently took a six month break or so, just to come back in the past couple weeks. I'm really impressed with all of the new changes, especially GWD, it's got me hooked again. Welcome back

I think 99 fishing is one of the best capes, I however don't like fishing at ALL except for my precious monkfish colony. (Where I'm sure I'll see ya) I think stopping here and there is great, ESPECIALLY for getting 100 combat. Make sure you mix it up a bit man, going for that 99 will get you burnt out to completely quit for it, so mix it up, even if it slows you down a little, you'll still be so fresh that you'll get it done. I used to barrows frequently, but took a break from the game. I come back and the prices ARE down tremendously. It still seems profitable though - do you guys suggest barrowing? I still have the guthans/ancients method up my sleeve, would be cool to use it again...
