Actually a better way is to mine iron and then trade about 2-3 iron ore per bar. If you do the math, you will gain more xp this way than by selling and getting coal.

You should get perm buyers, they will usually always buy your stuff. Also,if your using the GE, you most likely will have your "order" filled. It usually either never fills, or always fills. It will usually never just stop halfway, unless halfway, the price had a huge change. The question im asking is if you open a shop, do you get profit? That means that If i run a shop and im not a worker, will i get any profit? The answer is no. So if you don't get any profit from making a profit, why create one? You said that in a shop, you have a maximun per order, therefore, this would take you multiple trades to get rid of them. Put them in the GE or any forums, and they would be gone in one trade. Basically, im saying that you can do all this without making a shop, which requires time and effort, so there's really no point in making one.

This is already well-known. you could do this before the grand exchange telling us. There was no need to create a whole topic just to tell us that it's easier. Anyone who has a brain could figure that out.

Very well written guide on how to make a shop here... But really whats the purpose? What do you gain when opening a shop? If you don't get any profit from maintaining and shop, then why make one? Pretty much your just making a specific place within the forum so people can gather and buy/sell wares. Like a mini-mini-forum. Instead of opening a shop, you can just get the raw materials, then just post a topic saying, "Selling () for ()ea" You would make the exact same profit as opening a shop, as well as it will save you time and effort. You would also be able to find perm buyers of your wares, which is better than having to deliver your stuff every 1k or so. So to sum up, just answer this one question, What do you get out of creating a shop?

IF you buy ess 25ea And pay your runners 1k. And sell them 9ea You need to be able to 8x to make a profit. 7x will almost break even.

Id say wait until your close to down, there will be new updates between now and around Feb. Those updates will probably change your mind so just wait.

If your looking for only smithing xp the fastest possible way is to smelt steel bars, then trade the bars for ores+cash or ores+extra ores. You not only get smith xp, but also some cash. This is by far the fastest smelting way because there is no need to mine and trading takes minimal time. That is the cheap f2p way. Of course if your rich, you can just buy any type of bar(iron gives the most xp per gp spent) and smith those into plates, then alch. This is the fastest way members or f2p and only do this if you have loads of cash to spend (most likely you need 20m+ to obtian a respectable smithing lv).

Yes techinally its called RS 2, but its the same exact game as rs1, just using a different server and with java. Im talking about a totally different 2nd game. And i think your only remembering the "good" 2nd. If you do some research, you'll find many more bad 2nd than good 2nds.

It really depends on what you are going to do with it. Are you merchant? IF so, you said that the highest it has gone is 25m and right now is about 23.5m. Even if that rise takes only 1 month you could do much better as a merchant. In a months time with 20m+ you could possible gain 25-50% more cash, which 5m-10m, much better than the 1.5m you could be getting. Of course you gotta add in the time, which i am not sure how much you have as well as the unpredictable nature of rares. If you are going to do nothing with the money you just got, then i suggest you just keep it until it reaches a value that you satisfied with. If your selling it to gain levels it depends on one thing. Would you rather have a santa or a 99 in a certain skill? If you would rather have a santa, keep it but if your desire for that certain 99 is greater than your love for your santa, sell it.

Don't bother. 2nd games are usually crap, as they are mostly used for making money by dragging in people who like the first game to pay for the 2nd game. This is just like any 2nd: Ex. 2nd movie in a series, 2nd toy similiar to a first. They all suck, are just used for making money.

Actually, if you have a fast comp and you really concentrate. You can burn logs at around 1k per 50 min.
