  1. While looking at other people's suggestion i thought of my own. The coding will be relatively simple for jagex, as it is based of something else, the Grand exchange. RUNNING/SMELTING/FLECTHING At certain places in RS where people often trade raw materails for finished products, there should be an "exchange"(Jagex can make up the name). These places would be the air alter, nat alter, law alter, al-kharid(for smelters), and yanille for flectching(im not a member, i don't know) For the air exchange, the crafter puts up an offer. His offer will always include 25 noted pure/reg ess and they will get to choose the amount of gp as payment. The runner will do the exact opposite. For smelters, they will have to choose what kind of bar they are trading, then choose their payment option(only in gp). The merchant will also put up noted ores+the amount they are willing to give. For flecthers, same thing. ONe more note: The exchange will first find to see if there is a direct match, if not, the "extra" money will always go to the runner/smelter/flecthing that actually does the work There is a max limit for which you can pay You will only be able to put up one offer at a time, meaning like 1 slot, for the runners. You have to withdraw each time. TRADE LIMIT I do agree that a trade limit is the only way for RWT to stop, but 3k is atrious for f2p and even 30k is terrible for p2p. But how shall we measure what the trade limit shall be. I propose that our trade limit should be our highest skill*1000. When you hit a 2nd 99, you will get a 10k bonus. So that will mean up to 109k, so on and so forth. Limit will be based on the lower player, like right now. This suggestion is not perfect, but is better than what we have now. Some cons to consider: Bots with 99's will get a trade limit of 99k-But still, that is not a lot, considering they usually sell at least 1m worth of gp at a time. Lvl 3 merchants who have no skills will be left out with this. But at least 10k is better than the 3k we have right now.
  2. Are you wanting that the rune platebody be the worth of 5 rune bars/5 rune ore+40 coal and a rune dagger be the worth of 1 rune bar? The reason why this isn't happening is because smithing is not the only way these items enter the economy. You can get these items from monster drops, and that is why these prices do no correlate to rune bar prices.
  3. More tinderboxes is just less strain on wrists. Its your choice, im pretty sure 1 tinderbox is the fastest.
  4. Varrock east mine.
  5. Get an autoer look.
  6. If you bought it for an investment, it could take it a while, im thinking next summer or so, until the prices will be back to what you bought it now. It won't be fast because of a couple of factors: Summoning-most people are thinking its going to be a cash drainer(seems like magic, you need to buy runes, and those runes will probably be expensive the first few weeks) If it is a cash drainer, im suspecting lots of people will sell in an attempt to get high summoning quick. therefore decreasing the price furthur. 3k-30k limit-Even at 30k, its going to take quite a bit of time to rise. Unsure players-A lot of players are unsure, meaning a lot of people are going to continue to sell and there aren't going to be that many people buying.
  7. I think fastest is w16 airs but unless they raise the 3k limit, that place is going to be uselss.
  8. Get to the Bounty Hunter area, there are no revenants there. Then run up to the rocks. Im pretty sure thats the best
  9. Too much coding to do it in the real world. I suppose they could make something like goblin village into a city that can transform ownership. IE Wolves are coming to attack, you have 1 day to defeat them. You then have to try to defend goblin village. Sort of like castle wars. THere are x amount of flags. You cannot pick them up, you can only defend them. At the end of the day, they will count up all the flag on ALL the worlds. If the attacker is holding more than half of the flags, the village will be referred to as Wolves village, which they will change on the RS official map. The npc's there will also change to wolves. Of course you still need to be able to do the quests that involve some of these goblins, so the goblins that are required for quests will stay there as prisoners. But of course if jagex did this, they would do only p2p, so it probably won't be goblin village.
  10. If you want mage xp, go for it. Don't do it for the smithing xp, only do it if you really want mage xp.
  11. If you dont want to spend any money. Mine the number of iron and coal needed to smelt and smith steels. OR Buy all the steel bars Or Buy the materials needed to smelt the steel bars, then smith them. OR Trades steel bars for ores+cash repeatedly.
  12. If your talking about speed not considering cost, firemaking is fatser. Reg logs 1-15 Oaks 15-30 Willows 30-45 Maples 45-60 Yews-60-75 Magic 75-99
  13. What you explained is pretty much the GE.
  14. Members would be really angry if jagex gave this to f2p. But i guess you can add it, i mean, what lvl 99 is going to waste their time smelting iron ores?
  15. Autoer look with a red hat or red cape. You can wear something red, but make sure the autoer look is still visible
  16. Semi support. Some things i would change lvl 80- 60% sucess rate lvl 90-70% success rate lvl 95-80% success rate lvl 99-90% success rate Iron bars would plumet in price.
  17. Current lvl? And pretty much no matter what lvl you are, they is nothing other than hi-alch that you won't lose money. It think curses are the best.
  18. Short term-No, they are going to fall because of Christmas Long term-Yes. The supply of Santas can only go down, which means eventually they will go up.
  19. To mine addy ores you need constant world hopping and its very slow. It is no way the most profitable. Most profitable is iron ore banking. Granite is the fastest Again, coal is not the best, iron is. Think about it. price of 2 irons=price of 1 coal At around 50ish? you will guarantee a one hit iron while you need a much higher, 80ish? to 1-hit coal at least half the time. Under that you most likely need 3-4 hits. Also, add in the time to run to bank. Iron rocks are closer to bank than coal rocks.
  20. Just thought of a con, might create some major lag to some.
  21. 1k is so that when you get it it's special No idea what you meant.
  22. Nope, you gotta step one step out to light a fire. And lumby bank is faster cause you can carry 27 at a time while at GE only 26.
  23. Don't do the GE anymore. Its ruined because Jagex made it so you can't fm on stairs. :(
  24. magicmagicy replied to Voxaprimo's topic in Help and Advice
You're obviously f2p, and unfortunetly, these are the only places to mine coal. I would mine iron till 60, then use the guild or swamp.
  25. What happens when you lose one of these tickets? Will you never be able to recieve it? I suggest that you need to pay 1/3 of the highest price for that item on the GE to buy back your ticket, so you can get that item. This is better because if all of your dropped items are safely stored you could essentially stay somewhere forever. And what if you have a 1/2, and 1/3 and another 1/3 ticket? Will you recieve the extra part back? This could get confusing.
