  2. No. Pretend it doesn't exist.
  3. It's just a partition of your hard drive. Pretend it doesn't exist and you'll be fine.
  4. ay gwyn you ever have squid chips
  5. People who used to play with bionicles have a lot of disposable income now
  6. Uninstall Norton. Really your only options are Chrome, Firefox, and Opera. Chrome and Opera are basically the same browser. They both use Blink as their layout engine (the thing that parses the HTML and loads it into the Document-Object Model (the DOM)) and V8 as their JavaScript engine (the thing that runs JavaScript, the scripting language of the web), both of which are impressively fast and accurate. The only difference between the two browsers, basically, is that Opera has more features in its UI, which also means that its UI is bulkier. If you don't want to use Chrome, I strongly recommend using Opera. Firefox uses Gecko for its layout engine and Spidermonkey for its JavaScript engine, both of which are slower than Blink and V8. It uses less memory than Chrome, but that really shouldn't be an issue if your computer was made in the last like 8 years. Really the only reason to use Firefox is if you're in love with the UI. If that's the case, then I recommend using the developer version because it receives updates 12 weeks earlier than the normal version. tl;dr: Use Opera if you really can't use Chrome

  8. Congrats, you can kill them a tick faster than everyone else
  9. http://shop.lenovo.com/ae/en/laptops/lenovo/y-series/y50/ Really the only complaint about this model is that the GPU isn't great, but it's more than enough for your needs. I'm not sure how I feel about the 4K resolution because I've never used a machine that supports it, so you'll probably want to do some independent research before you pour money into it. Other than that, this should fit your needs pretty well. If nothing else, it should give you a starting point to look for a better fit.
  10. Merry Christmas, Tif
  11. Sounds more like you're arguing that Finland should be a baltic country instead of a nordic one

:( JavaScript's pretty easy to pick up, you just gotta pace yourself. Making a game right off the bat would overwhelm anybody. Just get the basics down first, read a textbook, practice a bunch, and you'll be fine. Go try picking up one of those programming languages maybe? Learning something new could be fun *shrugs*. That's actually a really good idea. I have a little more than codecademy-level python knowledge (mostly pygame). What are some nifty projects I can work on with that? I mean, "Games" is the obvious answer, but... actually, yeah, I guess I'll do that. Thanks for the idea. If you want to learn JavaScript, I have a project for you. Reminds me of this game I made... https://www.allegro.cc/forums/thread/596246 Wow. That was six years ago... Haha that's a pretty neat game, I like it

I can get away with not having a car when I'm at school, but it's so hard to get around my hometown without a car. Literally the only place within walking distance is the grocery store.
  15. Estonia is a baltic country, just like Lithuania and Latvia. All 3 are basically the exact same country, they just split them up because their languages are slightly different.
  16. You're saying we shouldn't care about what others do? That's not a good way to live your life
  17. Shit, that brings me right back to like 8th grade It's that time of year again

  20. So either his hard drive is [bleep]ed like Sy said or you're looking at RAM, not disk space. Try decreasing the maximum RAM Java can use.
  21. It didn't use 99% of his disk space. Did it use 99% of his RAM or 99% of his CPU?
  22. Yeah I sang it and I also googled it :/
  23. If you're getting random ad popups, you have adware. No amount of browser uninstalling and reinstalling and [bleep]ing with addons is going to fix that. You have to actually go in with antimalware software and remove it.
