When I go to Tav dungeon I bring a ring of dueling and an axe/hatchet with me. From cwars cut a regular log, balloon to taverly, then duely to cwars/bank. T'would be fast water-orb charging as well, with your agility level. Hmm.. That's true, I could do that because my agility is so 1337. I'll try that out Ant. Think it will be faster than just going south and to the Fally bank? Baloon travel, etc. sure has to add a lot of time. Do the wildy course until 70 peterpan. Need to clear world 2 of pure n33bs =\ Balloon Travel takes hardly any time at all (unless your computer tends to lag during the scene where your balloon goes from start to destination and you end up traveling there ten times or so :P) It's like cosmic crafting. You walk about 3/5ths the length with teleporting (balloons/rings) as opposed to walking to and from the bank. Of course, if you're only killing a 'few' dragons, it wouldn't make much of a difference either way. and if you had to go out of your way to obtain rings of dueling, it might be best to not bother with balloons. Aside from that; balloons = speed, imo.

14 May 2007 For the most part I spent the day Barrowing and degrading my crystal bow. I like how it performs at barrows, actually. It took a while for it to degrade from just ranging Ahrim, so I paid the bloodvelds a visit. I will probably end up using these over Karils Crossbow just in general. Got a D med from Barrows. My first Dragon Drop. Heh. I'll make another attempt at the fire cape after completing the new quest if that comes out tomorrow. After that, I'll give it one last go. If I don't get it within those two attempts, I'll take a hint and do more leveling before I try again. [hide= D med] [/hide]

I talked to Ant in the caves, and he was on like 360-180 I think when we talked. He was running low on racks, and low on supplies. I wonder what came of it? Erg. Well, I died. I might've been alright as far as supplies but I got a bit lazy. At 360 180 90 I had both the 360 and the 90 on me, and the 90 was not playing nice :( wasn't sure where to run, panic = death pl0x. So I tried again with 2 crystal bows, and a couple more sara brews than last time. I went in and wth? Guthans wouldn't heal me at all. Didn't seem worth it to waste super restores or Sara Brews so early in the caves, so I just let them take me and started again fresh. Again. Why can't I heal? Worst luck ever? Must be another bad run, I'll let this one go as well. WAIT. Took a look at my equipment. I had Torags Legs instead of Guthans Skirt. Do'h! #-o What a waste of time =D> Anyway, for the second real attempt: In the middle of it I figured I ought to play it safer and do a lot more ranging and conserve my prayer. Made it to 360 90 90 but by then I was almost out of super restores. Still had all my sara brews though. Yargh. If only I swapped one or two out :wall: So now I've gotta make a bit of money, degrade and recharge my bow. Then I'll go again. Instead of charging one of my seeds I bought a brand new bow from that one fellow. Jeez, man. These cost a pretty penny! Anyhow, yeah...Back to fishing :o

I plan on keeping that cape on my back too :P Celebrated by hitting up Jiggig for some bonesies. Then off to range Fire Giants and finally finish up my slayer task. Not sure what I'll train ranged on after this task is complete :P Hopfully Chaeldar picks a good task for me. heh

Got the Karamja gloves 1. I'll not be going out of my way for the rest of the achievements until I get 100 combat though. New lunar spells next week plz :ohnoes: Anyway, I've been able to settle down and do some fishing. And questies...Glad I've got MEP2 behind me \ The only other quest I'm 'iffy' about is Contact! and perhaps Great Brain Robbery. So I'll get around to doing those next ;)

Just a reminder that when you're calculating the % difference between two numbers, you have to subtract number b from number a, then divide by number a. (a-B) A = "B is % worse than A" (in the case of a negative, A is worse than B) As it is, you're about 100% off on your calculations. For example... to say that B is x% stronger than A denotes this calculation: ( % x A) + A = B (1.25 x 20) + 20 = 45 <- which is not the case for the crystal bow. In this case, 1 Crystal shot = 1.25 Rune shots. Or Crystal is .25 times stronger. Minor oversight, or major, depending on how you look at it. 1.25 times something and .25 times something can be quite a difference. I don't see why you would multiply these two numbers together to find cost effectiveness. Seems a bit lazy, really. Shouldn't it require something like... C bow vs MSB + Rune Each gets X amount of shots Damage w/ C bow @ X shots = A Damage w/ MSB + Rune @ X shots = B Cost of X shots for C bow = Y Cost of X shots for MSB + Rune = Z A Y = M and B Z = U M and U equals the bang you get for your buck. (U-M) U = Rune is on average x% more expensive than C bow shots (in the case of a negative, C bow is more expensive) averaging the max hit and accuracy and multiplying those two together...I don't know...Worse yet is multiplying percentages for two sets of statistics. :? Obviously we won't be hitting at max damage each time. And it won't just be a 'hit or miss.' So [max hit x %accurate] doesn't quite seem right. I'm not sure what would do it except to shoot a few hundred thousand rounds :-k I'm not 70 ranged yet either, but I am a math geek 8-) (not a nerd. nerds are smart.)
