  1. Yay, farming! Honestly, I don't see why people dislike it so much  Thanks :) 72 farming
  2. Woo, DT and RFD are tons of fun. :o And so is agility :XD: Good luck. I'm jealous of your Pizazz points. *steals your progress hat* :-w
  3. 10 days (750k spent) Approval at 98-100% each day 9 Workers on Hardwood (Teak and Mahogany) 6 Workers on Wood (Maple)
  4. Mtk is heart 10 days (750k spent) Approval at 98-100% each day 9 Workers on Hardwood (Teak and Mahogany) 6 Workers on Wood (Maple) 897k profit from the teak and mahogany alone. 8-)
  5. I'll say it how I like! :o Roffle.
  6. hah, you! :P Thanks, I'll be pestered by you-- I mean, talk to you in-game. :D Updated for today. goodnight, blogscape. :)
  7. Got pked last night. boo. Whilst getting my blue dhides back i got a clue. Kinda junky
  8. If one derives no enjoyment out of gathering, then yes it would be pointless for them to spend much time doing that. I'm sure there are some people that play the game simply enjoying what they like doing. If someone enjoyed only "resource consuming/transforming skills," what's to stop them from doing those things only? There's nothing wrong with using a skill if you pass the level 99 mark. Nor the 200m exp mark. Fletching was my favorite skill, it happened to be my first 99, but I didn't get 99 in it for the approval of others. It's something I liked to do. Who are any of you to appraise the merit in my untrimmed fletching cape? The point is this: If a new player's preference was a secondary skill, sure, they must begin with a gathering skill. But once their skill of choice can pay for itself (and efficiently), it would be 'dumb' of them to waste their time doing something they don't enjoy (gathering). Anyone that gathers derives some kind of enjoyment out of it. Whether it's the money, or experience, or if they just like doing it (it's not so far fetch'd). And there's nothing wrong with that either. Do what you like. Don't waste your time doing something you don't want to do if you don't have to do it. Also, I doubt that the economy would "collapse" without new players or autoers to provide raw materials. Logically, prices for raws would rise and/or "established/legitimate" players would gather their own supplies (or make a killing gathering them to sell). Unless the bulk of RS is truly lazy enough to call it quits if they can't find someone to sell them their p ess (or whatever) :boohoo: [Actually, I think that'd be great.]
  9. If everyone had that attitude, you'd be bound to find an odd one that likes to gather raw materials :P If you were interested in money making (and knew what you were doing) then you would make the money in the most efficient way possible for you and your budget. (lordsoultar's example) I agree, newer players have little choice but to begin with the gathering skills. Duh. At a certain point in your runescape career, you will have aquired a skill (or something) that provides enough income to fund efficient leveling of a "secondary" skill of your choice. These skills are generally faster in leveling, more so when supplemented with readily available raw materials. Again, if either of the 'gathering' skills is totally your bag, then that's cool. If you enjoy picking away in the flax fields aquiring no experience whatosever for your trouble, that's cool too. (I like planking. :D) As far as needing a constant supply of new players (or *gasp* autoers) to keep the economy going: Expand on Manage Thy Kingdom, anyone? :-k teehee. Yes, sir! I bought my logs, p ess, and (some) ores! (I like fishing and mining though :P) So watcha gonna do?
  10. 71 Farming. Hooray. crafting nats today as long as I can sit still :ohnoes:
  11. changing things up slightly. Lately I haven't been able to save enough money to raise con. Roffle. And seeing no real progress here makes things boring. So, here comes a change of blog :P I haven't given up on Construction, it's just kind of on the backburner. After runecrafting, I'll use leftover monies on Con. =] 70 farming and 70 hunter. :o
  12. I haven't abandoned this. I'll be adding more about the barricades (they stay up for AGES now). And waves 7/8-9. For now I give more pictures, and some information regarding an update to the layout of the arena in wave 10.
  13. No one likes to recommend the Wolfy course, but I found it faster, safer, and more convenient than the wildy course (ectophial highly recommended). An inventory of 12 energy pots and 15 monks lasted about 45 minutes to an hour, if I remember correctly. If you bring your valuables, be sure you have over 30 hp before attempting the death slide :P I stayed there til about 68 then moved to Ape Atoll. 75+ is recommended there because you don't fail at that level. But 68 doesn't fail all too often. Anyway, the death slide is fun :) Good luck with all of your goals.
  14. Finished Recipe for Disaster yesterday! I kept hearing I ought to look out for the Gelatinnoth Mother but she hardly hit me. I guess I'm just too cute O:) (99 Beefcake saves the day!) Achieved all the levels currently required by quests. Mourning's Ends, here we go. QP cape by the end of March? :D Racing a friend to a trimmed skillcape. I intended to go for 99 thieving, but I think I'd rather get 99 Agility (and rank 1 pl0x).
  15. wow, flying through thieving :o that's awesome. keep it up. :)
  16. thank you, thank you. On late night and ended up dying and losing my rogue top and mask, and my penance gloves. :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: I'll be at barb assault and rogues den for a while. No more fishing at ape atoll agil course! #-o
  17. not sure what's gotten into me lately. I'm just not feeling up to runecrafting :P Spending some time in the fishing colony while I think of what to do.
  18. Gasp. I LOVE Shades of Mort'ton! (I think it's ridiculous to see so many people going for 99 firemaking using willow logs :-# mage pyres ftw!) Tied for my favorite minigame is Barbarian Assault. Least favorite is Castlewars. I dunno. It just bores me :P So many minigames I haven't tried yet. :uhh:
  19. hey hey hey. we kinda sorta did monkey madness together ages ago. (but not really) :P :P :P Best of luck
  20. Bam. I haven't been here in a while. since I last posted: All Noncombat skillies 60+ is hawt (slayer doesn't count :P) 70 Con. 70 Agility (from 66). I'm taking a liking to farming and herblore. Those will be the next couple 99 capes I go for, I think. For now I'm thinking: get 70+ runecrafting, use about half that money on con, and the other on 70+ farming and herblore. Then Pyramid plunder til 70+ thieving. 8-) and somewhere in there get around to catching a few chins for 70 hunter I'm ONE burnt yew log away from 1600 total. \
  21. Personally, I LOVE Barbarian Assault. 500 points is a breeze with a good team. I like that I don't get any combat exp (skillers ftw). Made some good friends there as well. When your team is HOT, it's great fun. After getting through some of my skilling goals, I'll definately want to hit BA. (Z0mg BA Clan/Team plx?)
  22. Thanks. Grats on 92 updated a bit. Animal Magnetism + Zogre Flesh Eaters = <3
