I'd go for the santa. They're (more) affordable and have been going up steadily (like all rares) since they were released (there was a hiatus around 2003-early '04 where they stayed 100-200k for a long time though). Good luck.

Rune, by far gives better defense to melee and ranged attacks, but it gives sub-par defense to magic (negative). Black dragonhide has good crush defense, but functions pretty poorly in the stab section. It gives good magic resistance and decent ranged defense.

K, I'll buy a cooler for it with the money I save dl'ing AVG.

They get you to climb up the ladder into the middle tower, where you'll be attacked from different sides by rangers.

Zenock. Good rsc friend from about 4-5 years ago. Helped me out a bunch ever since i started playing. He just said he was going on vacation one day and never returned. Thank you Zenock, I only wish that I could find you again.

I low alched one of my santas in rsc but that was when they were 80-100kish and I wanted to know how much they went for.

I got a couple santas back when they were 50k (I was on vacation on christmas). I've held on to them since then in 2002, I think i've made quite a big profit. The funny thing was that the guy i bought the hats from jacked the price up to 50k from 40k when I world hopped to him, that was alot of money to me back then so I almost didn't buy them ^.~

I think my best was another loop half, if not it was 3-4 rune bars.

My friend tried it with pies, but it took so long he got fed up and just leveled up his fishing to the required level. It was easy for me to do though ^.^

I'd just range him, it's really easy if you have rune arrows (still easy if you just have mith/addy). Take a couple prayer pots with you as well as a lot of shark.

But the axe has a bonus 105 strength! That's kwazy. I say go for both, use 2h special then switch to axe. When you get bored, sell them for a small loss ^.^
