I figured it was worth mentioning since with the exception of the theme that was likely aimed at mobiles all of them have the same padding "issue", I'd just rather not have to substitute the style sheet if I don't have to.

The big difference is that one is a one-time expense and the others aren't. You spend the money for 96 herblore it only costs you what? 75k for an overload and a special restore for your next pk trip? You use an AGS and die you're out that 100million. 450 million for a Divine spirit shield. If doses of the new potions cost 1-2m cash people probably wouldn't have complained nearly as much as they did, but as things were it would have been a choice not to train up the herblore for them, but would it have been a good choice? Not really :P .

With the new forum it seems pretty much every table cell has some padding. The worst offenders are probably the forum index and thread view for the forums, but also sortof table headers. Any chance of the 8 pixel padding slapped around on them being reduced to 2 or 3?

And everybody said it was a myth when us cw'ers said ip has an effect :roll: Hopefully they can make it work well. The server processing requests in order they are received is pretty par for the course in any MMO or online game. All they can really do to fix it is add a delay in doing things and randomly assigning the task to anyone who tried to do it during that delay. The problem would still exist because it would be possible for Player A to request to grab the flag/the monster, game begins waiting for next tick, player B with a 300ms ping clicks at 0.3 seconds (half way through a tick) and player A will still get it since the action occurs at the 0.6 second tick mark. If longer delays are added it would get annoying for certain things (mainly killing weaker monsters) if there was a 1 second+ delay on everything. So I imagine they'll be implementing more of a mechanic change rather for such things rather than a random-queuing delay.

Buying gold ore is about 55,000,000) Unstrung holy symbols run more: 39,667,674 So minimum you are looking at around 58,969,059 For a total of 11,048,379 Magic xp, and 532,452 crafting xp.

The trips with 35 essence will give more experience than the ones with only 28, so you can't use 620xp for both. You carry 20% more essence, so assuming 20% more xp per trip with 35 essence, it would give 744xp per trip. 9200/35=263 trips 9200/28=328 trips 263 trips @ 35 essence each = about 195,000 xp (744 per trip) 328 trips @ 28 essence each = about 195,000 xp (620 per trip)

I looked you up I think (From a screenshot in another thread) Joe R...... (Not posting full). Either way, compare to mine (Nick231) and give just straight tanking a try. Slayer helmet or Nosepeg Salve Ammy (e) (Regular salve ammy is useless if you have slayer helmet) Salve Ammy if using nosepeg, otherwise fury or glory. Karil's Top Karil's Skirt Dragon Boots Whip Rune Defender Fire cape>God cape>=Obsidian cape/Skill cape For gloves best RFD or Regen Bracelet Ring of Wealth or Berserker/Warrior ring Bring a Bunyip, and I use about 10 lobsters per trip of about 30-35 spectres (I bring 15 and just eat extra to make room for herbs which are more expensive). Enhanced Excalibur would reduce food usage even further, can even use rapid healing prayer to reduce further (Especially if you teleport through house to canifis or pollinech. I recommend the Smoking kills spectres if you've finished that quest and have the slayer helmet, nice and empty so don't have to fight over them. (It's also multi-combat so you can bring combat familiars or cannon them if you wanted (But for tanking bunyip or other healing familiar is probably better)).

What people also forget, if you lose your pouches you are also out the cash you could have potentially made while you spend time getting them back. Someone through out 450K an hour? If it takes you *only* half an hour to get all of the pouches back thats 225K to get them. Now like most normal people, we don't luck out, it took me almost 2 hours when I did it the last time. Thats a lose of nearly 1 million to a lowly RC pker. The only times I've been killed are when TBed. I have personally never seen one actually stay and fight when I've gone back to try and kill them (which I've done maybe 10 times. I'm sure there are some out there who will fight in a fair fight, but the overwhelming majority of them are nothing but bullies who basically just steal candy from babies because they can't take people their own age.

Theres 1 big way to hurt the gold farmers quickly. Make Asian-specific servers, and block Asian-originating IP addresses from joining non-Asian servers. Why try to do damage control when you can prevent the damage? Step 2. Gradually Block public proxies (which they're likely to try and use next). Step 3. Gradually block any private proxies they setup to use. This is a much easier task than anything now, since many of the places they setup these proxies, they can simply have them shutdown directly via the ISP. While changing an IP address costs them next to nothing, having to completely relocate to resume their process (only to be shutdown again shortly after via the ISP again) becomes more cost-worthy than its worth, and they simply move onto other games. Anything short of making it not worth their while, doesn't stop them. The problem is, many of the bans aren't of the actual bots, but the people who buy the gold from the gold sellers. The problem with that, is by the time the buyer has it, the gold seller couldn't care less if the person trading gets banned, as it's likely either well passed around (making it difficult to track back to the bots) or the character doing the sale is meant to be scrapt after one sale (ie. if they sell in 5, 10, and 25 million intervals, have each character with only those amounts, so they can sell, and if they are banned its no big deal). It's an elaborate and very profitable business. Jagex will not take them down by trying to keep them under control, they need to go for the kill, or they are otherwise just wasting their time.

All I can say about their "Make-X" and arrows = horrible. It's not actually Make-X, but rather Make-10, and its slow. 150 arrows every 10 seconds, which comes to 5,400 arrows Max in an hour. Before, you could do that many in a minute or two.

When you had to smelt/smith bronze items using 5 inventory spaces because between everything else you considered valuable, and the lack of a bank for items, those bones, pink skirts, iron daggers, and that sapphire were precious...

Actually, the blood forfiet bolts are the ones I used on Jad. They work quite nicely :) . Unfortunately I haven't gotten to try out the dragonstone bolts yet, but from what I've seen of them they will probably hit even harder still. You should be fine with blood forfeit bolts though, Jad still went down pretty fast with them. Can't confirm this personally, but I had seen somewhere that Dragonstone bolts effects don't work on fire based mosters (which apparently included Jad). Also good to know that blood bolts do work, was wondering about that.

Assuming the prayer pot only gets used for kharil tunnel, theres not much different you really can do, as you are using the one of the best setup.

As not nice as it is, the only way to really stop them would be just to setup a cluster of Asian-only servers and block access from all Asian countries to the rest of the servers. Sucks for people there who would have to deal with it, but its something they're going to have to deal with as time goes on and more and more MMO's do the same.

And when the hell does someone actually bother at that point? Someone who's trained to 99 attack+strength wouldn't be caught dead RC pking as they can easily be making way more doing other things. That aside, I don't specifically hunt them, If I see one there my level after that run I head out with whatever is approriate to chase them off. If I see a guy standing there decked out with melee gear I'm not going to worry about getting hurt bad by a maul wearing leather, I'll be out there to counter whatever they're set for. And since [the large majority are mages anyway, and] they tend to be so lame they're never out there in more than the bare minimum anyway; 5K worth of equipment prior to their DDS which would be taken when they inevitably protect item if they were to foul up. Don't sit here knocking it until you've tried it. We're not talking about hardcore PvPers, we're talking about the pansies of the bunch here.

Oh, I'm sure any charged god mage pker is going to be scared of 7s with iron darts and 71 range. :roll: A meleer is more dangerous than that. By the time you're dead, you cost him what, a shark? True, rc pkers are usually the lesser skilled pkers, but the way everybody is sterotyping them as "lame wannabes that have no chance at killing me" is so completely funny and idiotic. They usually aren't dumb, just unpracticed. I have a strong feeling most of the people here saying "I own all rc pkers" are the people that have been pked half a dozen times, or simply never rc. Mark my words; give this update 2 weeks, and it'll be forgotten. Not worth the money. And personally, I couldn't care less even if every world in existance is filled with RC pkers. I rarely use the abyss - for one, laws using the hot air baloon network are faster and safer, and for two, instead of all this crap about black hides and one click teles and risking 100k+, I think outside the box. What do I do when I abyss? I pack 1 dose of pray pot. That's it. I go nekkid, with nothing but maybe a spottier cape and lightness boots. If I get attacked, I take a sip, drop pouches, and wait. After I die, I tele back with my glory and pick the pouches back up. Simple. Nobody smites an abysser, so all they get are some essence and an empty vial. No lost hides, glories, pouches, or dignity. Brains people. Use them. \ You would be quite surprised, when your hitting 95% of the hits for 5-7 damage on rapid having 2 damage numbers up on the screen at once, health drops very quickly, and I have had much success at chasing them off by doing this, as 99% of the RC pkers, Charge+God spells or otherwise, run at the first sign of trouble. The above just skips well over trouble and instills full on panic immediately.

Any level can easily deal with equal level RC pkers the fact that most are mages tends to make it that much easier. What to take : Highest Dragonhide armor you can wear. Best Darts/knives you can get a hold of (Steel+ Recommended). At least attack potion (Most people have a huge stack of them sitting around, may aswell use some up, either drink+drop or drink+empty to save the vial, other/better potions can help). Any Food that heals 15hp+ per bite, the higher the better. (Optional) One click tele (Just in case). (Optional)Dragon Dagger with best poison you can get a hold of (If you have 60+ attack, otherwise don't bother with it, it only helps if you plan to try for the kill). Most RC pkers are out for easy kills against helpless RC pkers. After an attack or two they generally run/tele and leave. There are two ways of going about getting rid of them. A.) Run up and start hitting with Darts, get them to use their spec on you. If your in good shape afterwards get their hits down a little then just keep at it with the darts until they run/tele, you can also pull out the DDS to try and KO them when they are down a little bit. The dart damage tends to be low so they will usually let their hits drop a bit before they eat, which gives you the edge to outdamage their eating and usually kill them. B.) Run up and unless DDS specs then switch to darts and just keep on them until they leave. Since their armor tends to be low I personally recommend darts/knives as opposed to MSB/Crystal bow. The lower armor means your just about always going to hit them, so you may aswell go for DPS rather than Big hits here. The "Oh crap" factor of having 2 damage numbers up at the same time also helps. The above will get rid of a good number of abyss pkers around your level, with reletively little risk to yourself.

I don't see why they wouldn't honestly. When they try to make the charge extending the subscription it should just be declined or give a no funds available message. There is also no risk of being given subscription time and then banned for not being able to pay, as they don't give you the time until after the charge is made.

Unless its some accelerated heat, just wear desert robes and bring like 10 waterskins and your set for quite a while.

Runescape tends to also lacking in certain aspects of supply and demand. Without having all 4 screws with things greatly. High Demand + Low supply (Rares) High Demand + High Supply (Wood, raw fish) Low Demand + Low Supply (Plenty of these scattered about) That leaves Low Demand + High Supply which is where a lot of problems stem from. The only things really that fall into these categories are Cooked fish and bows. Real world, When demand bottoms out, prices fall so the items sell. Cooked fish prices haven't dropped AT ALL in god knows how long. If the Price of a cooked lobster was 100 each and shark 400 each the supply would fall greatly as people would be MUCH more inclined to buy them other than when they were in a pinch, and the economy would take a step in the right direction.

If they ban for swearing where the swears get censored, there is a problem there. Most cases I imagine people decided it would be funny/cute/whatever to throw some r@ndom symb0l in to try to bypass it which by all means should get you muted, but I don't think you should be banned for it unless you really cross the line and are being racist or something. Then of course there are the majority of people who DO break the rules, just in their eyes it somehow wasn't: "Oh I was just joking when I said 'jagex censors your password see ******'".
