There's no war to be waged anymore, everyone seems set in their opinion which is sort of sad I suppose. All I will say is that some of the smartest people on this forum are known to dabble in soft drugs and hallucinogenics. What's funny is that some people don't realize smoking/alocohol is considered hard drugs, but it's okay because the gov't says it's legal I don't condone weeds and the like, but if people want to do it, let them. I don't want to turn this into a debate on the legality of drugs but are you saying to make marijuana legal? Also I would like to see some statistics on that. Statistics are above. Nope, I do not agree with marijuana being legal until America has a broader, and more open mind about drugs. They've been lied to all these years, which was strongly perpetuated by Ronald Reagan and his criminal gang, so now when all of the sudden they realize this, they might lash out and go use "safe" drugs. America can't handle alcohol right now, let alone marijuana and other drugs. Now, when we're officially educated about it properly without scare tactics and lies, and people understand it, then I do not have any objections with it being legal. Until then, it should not be a crime to possess it in smaller quantities. You wanna know why America has it's alcohol and drug policies, the Christians who run the government. As much as the words separation of church and state are shoved in everyone's faces, how often is it actually separate. Take our marriage laws for example, homosexuals can't get married because it is a christian viewpoint that stops it. In all honesty a lot of students could use this. Many people just have really poor study habits (such as I do, when I ever do study that is) which contributes to poor grades. And if all else fails its an easy A class, right? I didn't say it wasn't neccessary, but why did have to be a separate class and not like a unit in an english course. Sure it was an easy class, but notes and me just don't get along.....at all. I actually do better if I just pay attention rather than take notes. On topic:I think schools need to start making band, chorus, drama, and art courses mandatory. Just one of them that the student selects. I mean if only facts get shoved down their throats eventually they'll snap. It's either that or make marijuana mandatory. I think I'll go with the former for 500, Alex.

The only class at my school that made go "why the heck do I have to do this" was Study Skills. Which was literally a class where you took notes on how to take notes.

I like how people keep saying we're a rich country when we have one of the highest national debts. In all truth all we have is size, but if the other countries came a knocking, well let's just say that another third world country would be born.( I know what yall ment by rich I was just throwing it out there.) Also, I don't see what being a "rich" country has to do with gun control. And now that I think about it, I think gun removal would just give rednecks more time to create our jury rigged weapons.

Oh, I remember this load of bs was forced down my throat throughout my public education. The whole smoking kills thing is way off, it only increases the chances of health problems, not definitively causing them like "the man" wants you to believe. Marijuana... is actually not as bad as "the man" claims it to be. In fact the only way to die from it is smoke inhalation. It also creates urges to eat and drink which is two of the 3 physiological needs. Sex education, at least they actually explained semi correctly if they had added with hookers after sex and before stds.

One shot one kill? I laugh at your ignorance. To be so bold as to say that every hunter hits his target spot on 100% of the time is laughable. NEITHER of the two practices are humane. Shooting something is NOT humane. Humane by definition: "1 : marked by compassion, sympathy, or consideration for humans or animals" You're killing an animal. No matter how painless, or how quickly it's done, it will never be humane. I hunt and i will say that no one ever one shots 100% of the time, and I think he was refering to trying to get a kill in one shot and you took what he said out of context, and even if guns were banned hunting would still go on. 1. Rednecks giving up their guns will never happen....ever. 2. There is still archery, trapping, and the random people who knifes their prey. Even though I am against the banning of guns in its entirety. I do think that it should get a little more regulation, specifically on handguns.
