I thought the minimum was 16 or 18 people, it's been a year since I played though

Looks like my 99-100% efficiency was quite close to the reality. At least thanks for the experiment, at least now someone can make an informed decision
-
Usually, people are learned in school not to think black-white in this world, some people obviously aren't graduated yet. Anyway, 99% efficient compared to 100% efficient, but I guess my attempts to get that into your head will be in vain You're underestimating the differences between a fury and a glory, which is pretty ironic, Mr. Black/white. I feel like I'm trying to explain Nietzsche to a bunch of children. Well, mister 100% know-it-all-about-efficiency. Come with scientific numbers, tell us the xprate per hour killing with best equipment and a glory and then with a fury. Give numbers about how much less you're hit while you're already 99 defence. I think Morning may have more "efficient" things to waste his time on that to please ignorant people. Anyway even if he does prove that a fury is better you will find some way to "dis prove" it as that is the mindset of the runescape community now days, e.g. Only my word is right everybody else is wrong. I have never disagreed a fury is better. Quote me where I said he will receive worse xp?

Eh, I don't know how good it is if you get stuck on a difficult task before you have access to good equipment. Or if you have to use a weak slayer master because you're trying to avoid getting stuck on a difficult task before you have access to good equipment. In the long run it's the best, sure, once you're using Kuradal and getting all sorts of awesome tasks, but it's considerably worse when Vannaka is assigning you shades and crocodiles. But I guess you have to start somewhere. He said money isn't an issue :P I suppose he can buy neit, rune plate, dragon skirt, dragon boots, barrow gloves (or dragonstone brace), whip, defender, obby cape and warrior ring :P (and glory) i trained to 99 thieving doing only master farmer and made a solid 60m cash and have like 40m cash left over.. Even better, then you can buy better items than I named
-
Most of them bought it when it was indeed still worth buying, when the fury was 4-8m worth. Only a very small fraction of people wearing fury's nowadays have actually paid 10+M for it

Green dragons are -afaik- not rangeable, blue dragons are :)

This. I was contacted by one of those guys recently, and after reporting him I decided to keep him added. He asked for my password so he could upgrade my account for me. I told him I didn't know my password. He asked how I was logged on then, and I informed him that I hadn't logged out since 2002, so there was no need for me to remember a password, since I never planned on getting off RuneScape. Makes me think of a call I had lately from a firm selling alarm systems :P "Hi, I'm from the firm ..... and we're selling alarm systems" "oh but I'm not interested, really" "What? You're not interested in the security of your home???" "no not really, why?" "oh, nevermind then, c ya" She was pretty much owned :D
-
You can play games with him too :D Like saying you don't have an internet browser etc :P

Hard leather body's should be the fastest xp you can get in F2P, until then you can do like gold rings or something
-
It's not real, Jagex contacts you through their inbox when you log in on their own website ONLY. They don't send mails, they don't send links, and for sure not external links.
-
Train slayer, you'll get combat levels and money at the same time. In the long run, slayer is and will be your way to go :]
-
Thanks. I actually haven't come across that many bots while I mine, but there are probably more in F2P. Aren't the skeletons at that mine permanently aggressive because it's the wilderness? I would think they would be more of a nuisance than the bots. At least I won't have to worry about competition. They're not permanent aggressive, after +- 10 minutes they stop attacking. I wear green dragonhide and I'm doing just fine. Also, only revenant orks pass through the mines (and lower leveled noob revs) so if you're 112+ combat you shouldn't worry about revs.

Spending money WISE IS a good advice. You guys would even pay 100M for 1 extra strength bonus. You can call yourself good advicers, but you'll never be good economists in real life. A cost-benefit-analysis is needed, in economy you don't survive with the thought 'I'll just pay whatever it costs to get the best thing on the market, no matter how expensive this is'.
-
I doubt a +2 strength/prayer bonus would have any noticeable effect, let alone 10m+ worth of an effect. My defense is enough that I rarely need to bank for food when training slayer/combat, so while it's not in the "elite" level necessarily, it's enough to give me a lot of protection. Due to your stats, I wont fault you for not knowing what you're talking about. Same can be said for you, really Sorry, buddy, but I don't have low combat stats. I was more talking about the part 'you don't know what you're talking about'. Defense stats of a fury are worthless, you really don't need them. The +2 str bonus (compared to glory) can be handy but I'm pretty sure you won't even save 5 minutes a task with that bonus. The extra prayer bonus, on the other hand, IS useful, but only if you piety all the time. This prayer bonus is the only main benefit of a fury over a glory but one may consider getting a stole instead of a fury if he's using piety all the time.

Blue dragons perhaps

Offline, definitely yes. A few years ago, my Miscelania also kept working while I was F2P but every now and then I hear people saying it doesn't work when you're F2P so maybe they updated that. Anyway, taking your money out of that chest can't do any harm :P

I see you'll be mining. Other than powermining, I can suggest another way of mining. It's not the best xp rate but the xp rate is not THAT bad and it's if you like quietness You can mine coal in lvl 9 wildy northwest of Edgeville, there are PLENTY of coal there and no one ever mines there. It's further walking than from falador bank to the mining guild but at least there's no competition, and no bots! If you take addy ores to the mines, you are able to get +- 20k mining xp per hour and you can mine 150 coal each inventory. You superheat at the mines. If I remember correctly, I also happen to make 100-150k cash per hour but I'm uncertain about that last number. I can recommend this if you don't like competition and are frustrated a lot by bots :P
-
If you're training at the slayer ring tunnel spot, you're very close to the teleport spot. I'd not care much about inventory spots
-
Also alching and/or superheating is possible to do in f2p
