Okay, I'm planning on tanking aviansies, with 75rng and 75def. And I expect to get decent cash from it and know the inventory, or enough of it. 100+ B2P, A fire staff and 500 Natures. But what about the clothes? I was thinking of instead of using barrows, use dragon, like this: Dragon Med helm, Arma Pendant, Saradomin Body, Zamorak God Cape, Rune Cbow, Dragon Skirt, Dragon Boots, Regen Brace (testing a theory at same time, def is nice too) Obsidian Shield (or should I just get a granite shield? Same def i think) Ring of Life. And how many Broad bolts? Should I bring some enchanted emerald aswell, for slightly quicker kills if my level isnt high enough? And just comments on the inventory, and armour. Thanks.
  3. Bump rly.
  4. Dagannoths in the Lighthouse. great spot.
  5. I had the same problem and gave up for a few hours, this was quite a while back so I'm sorry, I dont remember much. Check the quest ingame popup and see if you've missed anything Nothing else I can remember :wall:
  6. I wouldnt treat trading sticks badly. They own. They arent junk
  7. Well just wanted some of the latest info on these. Herblore - I know a great way, that many people know, yet many people dont, prayer pots, and if you know how, please comment and tell me when something else is better than this method. Farming - I'm kinda concious and dont want to lose 20k from a ranarr seed so should I keep to toadflax until I can do kwuarms? Summoning - I just got 57! Is there anything that I could do other than graahk runecrafting? (which I might try later on) Prayer - Should I waste 1m on 60 prayer and do the quest for chivalry? I dont plan on getting 70 for piety for quite a while since I dont think I'll need it much at my current level. Smithing - Should I go out and get 73? I've always wanted a high smithing level but didnt want to lose so much money. And I sure dont wanna waste forever smithing cballs. :P Construction - Is there really a use to get higher than 50 at the time being? I can put in teleports if I want but I cant be bothered. I know its worth it, but meh. Hunter - Whats a good level to actually start hunting red chins? And does it really matter if someone is near you? *also explain "stealing"* Well, thanks all.
  8. Noticed that the time, and money used getting 70 prayer can be used on pots and items, and time on monkeys for more? meh. Dont say but its better in the long run cause Vulx isnt a fan of slayer.
  9. Sorta annoying how everyone needs people to do things for them when its damn easy enough to just go ahead and look for yourself. Just alch mage longs or yew longs and make your own nats, from bought pess.
  10. Cost is the highest value of determining if a skill is hard. Slayer costs nothing.
  11. 1. Fake 2. Referalls arent alowed. 3. Check the link 4. Go away.
  12. Something thats boring and long doesnt make it harder. Makes it more unwanted.
  13. Slayer isnt really fun. It's only fun to those combat loving people who can stick to a skill even when it gets really boring. And slayer isnt close to a good moneymaker unless you get a rare drop each task or 2 per task.. And it really honestly isnt hard to train.
  14. I think Kent was adding in a little extra for the dose of ___ you get along with it.
  15. Good luck doing it anyway. Hope ma little ignore tip stuff helped \
  16. You're proving that its more of an opinion on how good/hard slayer is. And a skill thats "hard" would be based three quarters on price, and one on length, imo. And btw Kent: "... Nobody says it's hard... well, besides a few tasks..." (earlier) ilovecardj: " ...One of the best/hardest/most respected capes in the game..." Kent: "I didn't say it's the hardest, ilovecardj did." get it yet? @cardj. Runecrafting is almost impossible to lose money in it. Slayer is exactly the same xp ratio as hp, you kill things, so its pretty much just hp with more stipulations. But I do think mining is pretty hard to get imo. The amount of clicking is too annoying. And the xp isnt even good! But the hardest skill to get 99 in is summoning. Close 2nd would be mining or possibly something along the lines of it.
  17. Im pretty sure you dont need the farming level to farm herbs, (and maybe some other things), but need the level to get xp - which I think you may need also. But yeah you can hunt chins kinda quickly, im sure that taking about 15 mins off to check ranarrs would be ok. And if you have to drop over to the ge you could buy some hunter pots / hunter fams to help along, if you think they could help. (they possibly could do alot, not sure, dont think many people have tried). And if you name your clan chat like Ar Ca etc, you might remember which herb spots to go to. Ignore would also help too. Dont forget alphabetical order can keep your mind in position if you keep track of where the places are. Always use the spell Fertile Soil if you can, if not super compost will do it.
  18. I forget cause I dont have any robes, but if they're the DT robes, You have to finish/get most through Desert Treasure and do some things after it to obtain them.
  19. It is an opinion. As length doesnt prove of hardness. Though slayer can be hard if you get a task that takes ages and ages to kill. You cant call slayer hard when its basically the same as HP. Riiight. And I will admit that it is the best way to train combat, but saying its a good way for cash, when there's 900 other better options (exaggeration) is just stupid.
  20. Right, because i am a low level I dont know about anything else? I have numerous friends who slay 90% of the time and use duradel, being level 125+. None of them yet have made enough money by slayer to get even a bgs ontop of their other items. Slayer isnt as good as people say. Even Kent would have to say its kinda overrated by some people. And btw slayer isnt "Hard" its easy. Just the xp rate is low. Not a hard cape, just really boring and long. Easiest one imo.
  21. Someone said to blast furnace mith bars -> bolts/knives. Alot less money made by the alching of the plates. Not sure anyway
  22. jesus people only read the first 3 letters of a sentence. Giant Rock Crabs For GOLD CHARMS And no slayer really is NOT great. Its a combination of xp, cash, and charms. And.. Goats are good. For people who cant merch and all anyway.
  23. Actually if you can 1 hit goats enough, or 2 hit quick enough they can be. And snapes are good money but only if the other ways are crowded, and all. They can be better money than some things. - especially blue drags. And FYI i said giant rock crabs if he needs gold charms :wall: Slayer isnt as good as everyone says it is though. Watch out.
  24. They do drop them, I personally think its a 33% chance of one of the robe pieces though. Sorry. Good luck getting them. :)
  25. If you're low on cash go aviansies for range. Not close to great xp but great money to possibly help with magic and summoning. Slayer for charms ice Bursting rock lobs for charms and mage xp - uber expensive but pretty darn good. Alching is ok but its not too good anymore; when jagex fixed the ge it sorta went way downhill. Daily battlestaves (100 from ge, max from zaff), buy unpowered orbs or molten glass then make to orbs -> charge them, plus staving them and alching is awesome Plus you get like 37k total magic xp enchanting the broom after the halloween quest. And 90 def you should get at least. Then maybe 99 if you want.
