  1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shazam_service If you know anyone with an iPod Touch / iPhone or a capable Mobile see if they have i ja?
  2. I'm not. I'm saying that everyone on TIF cares about multiplayer, competitive games. I am in no way a "nintendo dude", I just got a wii because I wanted Brawl and a few other games. I always planned on using PC for gaming.

Guys, we gotta get more talkative in here. I think if theres a tourney coming up I am definitely going to it, unlike SAGAfest. My Link is getting pretty good, I have to get better at Gale mindgames though. (GMG), and timing my DACUS.
  4. Does being a "Nintendo dude" make you a worse gamer? Competitively yes, since the only games that really matter on TIF are competitive. However, the age and most likely also skill in gaming is all in PC. You wont find so many 13 year olds on PC like you do on an Xbox, but that generally doesnt make a PC gamer better, just statistically better.
  5. I'll give you that. But white people and unemployment usually dont go with kids or a family living with them at the time, so they dont screw up many other peoples lives like some aboriginals. But there are alot more white people than there are aboriginal people, as you said yourself. Yes, I still notice I am coming off a little stereotypical, but I really dont intend on looking like a nazi wannabe, nor do I want to be. To be honest, the government shouldnt give such money to anyone who is unemployed. Everyone is capable of getting a job except for mentally ill people who usually have someone looking after them and paying their expenses. But if the government wants to give money out to unemployed people, why exactly do aboriginals get more? Not to mention there are numerous other benefits aboriginal people get over white people. But they would technically have a harder time getting jobs because a lot of people are conscious about having "black people in the workplace" and whatnot. But that doesnt mean they are looking for jobs that much. Sure, I do know some aboriginal people who arent trying to screw up their lives and some of them really want to do well by the looks of it, but the majority of aboriginals I know and most likely are in australia dont really care for whatever reason.
  6. Yes. Jagex has the distinction as the MMORPG with a high amount of skills, but if you look into it they are not really "skills" just things to do when you're bored, quest requirements and the like. There really is not much of a reason to do anything but kill things in Runescape, since Combat gains alot of things you will need in the future. It also gains alot of money too. And Runescape isnt even a very good combat simulator. Sure I may be a litte biased towards skills after being a skiller for like 65% of my runescape career, but really I do like combat, but the items you get from it kinda destroys the point of skills. If anyone wants to go ahead and brainstorm some things that combat doesnt give out that is needed to play runescape normally, go ahead. Infact, I would like it! I can only think of certain fletching things, food, and potions.
  7. Yeah runescape is based alot on combat but if combat gives you everything that skills do then its a bit stupid. It's not that I am saying people shouldnt train combat, it's that I am annoyed at how unbalanced runescape is, and how combat will do 80% of the game itself. Yeah I'm trying to be more creative with posts. Noticing how fail I was 2 years ago really showed me  Yeah, they changed PvP so it didnt have slayer drops. Why dont they change slayer so it doesnt have as many skill drops?
  8. I guess I'm a noob then. Maybe. You never know :o
  9. No problem :P Just remember though, 99 attack is a pretty good goal, and I would want it asap if I was going for it. So personally I would just train accurate and D scim or SS my strength up and whip my def up again.
  10. Go to Video games and consoles subforum in Off topic. People there really have good ideas for console games to play if you dont wanna play runescape, not to mention some free PC games. I dont recommend this but ROMs are great fun. Especially GBA ones!
  11. Smithing isnt hard, it's only 5 levels. Go SC hammers when you can use mith so dont waste them. Summoning = just charm farm and make some cash while doing it. Con = oak larders. No other alternative to be honest. Herb = ewwy. It's not a good idea to train it right now.. wait a while. Farming = easy. Just plant trees and fruit trees at night, get up and re-do them in the morning, then at night re-do them again. And herb runs between slayer tasks (charms in summon) or skilling other things (75 mins per growth) is the way. Agility = just go to Wilderness course. I did, it's not hard and it's pretty fun.. in an agility kind of way.
  12. Sometimes I think of Runescape as a chat site, and I just sit at the G.E talking to people while buying/selling things. But even that gets boring sometimes. Look, if you're bored with runescape nothing else is going to help very much since it's all technically clicking. Take a break for 2 weeks to a month and you should wanna play it again.
  13. The pros and cons are the same. "Shared" is actually "Accurate" training, just with xp in all melee. The only con to 'accurate' is with a whip, its good to train shared because overall you get faster xp than you would if you wanted to train Atk, then def with a whip and str with a d scim or ss. Shared is the same. If you wanted to train only 1 skill you should only train that 1 skill unless you plan on training another skill soon. Training controlled is faster if you want to train your strength up eventually, since whip xp rates are better than d scim or ss xp rates.
  14. Thats quite right, but the idea of Treasure Trails is that someone buried their treasure, so basically getting rune from a treasure trail is 'realistic' enough, in my opinion.
  15. I dont understand what you guys are arguing about? XP per hour heavily depends on how many hits it takes to kill a monster, but the xp isnt any different if you hit three 10s or six 5s. Higher strength increases maximum hit, higher attack increases accuracy. Aggressive attacking style increases likeliness of a higher hit, but overall less accuracy. Accurate attacking style is just equal everything. Has more accuracy than aggressive but less chance of hitting max. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SAYING I DONT UNDERSTAND ANY OF YOU :?
  16. The "recommended" leveling prior to getting melee 99 is 85 in all melee including HP at minimum. So you are pretty safe to just get 99 attack right now, no hesitation, and I would say go for it. But dont underrate defence. It really helps in PvE.
  17. I am guessing that you are P2P? If so, you should just mine iron or coal for mining levels. Unless you really want to get into the technical mining gold stuff. Which is like, place your house at brimhaven, or use the skill-necklace way. ERR, for smithing, at level 42 you should just smith whatever comes your way. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Smithing Rune wiki is a pretty awesome site for leveling costly skills as it shows you the best things to make. From about 60+ Smithing I would recommend Blast Furnace mithril. It ends up in a profit, its pretty fast and at the right times of day you could meet a decent person there. EDIT: I seem to have missed a bit of stuff. You dont profit from smithing. You profit from smelting (not gold!!!) But the least lost in smithing mithril is Arrowtips, but unfinished bolts sell quite easier.
  18. Nah, I would too if I got Jet demons [ ;) ] I dont like cannons, and apparently they are worth killing for crimsons. Anyway, Xano, you're still a noob, but read Robin's guide. [sig]
  19. Hunter is one of those skills you should train to make money, especially at around 65. So if it was up to me I would just do Red chins the whole way. Imo, the xp you sacrifice doing chins over salamanders is nothing since you make some money at the same time.
  20. Youtube or watch Hulu and the like is usually good, since you can have both screens visible at the same time while basically looking at both of them. Reading a book is obviously another good option but its harder to keep your eye on runescape, and you'll get more engrossed in the book. Writing a piece for the varrock library might be cool too, if you're into that stuff.

  24. Ray says hi. I was the noob of off topic in 07.
  25. As a few people have stated, they are lazy and the government babyfeeds them enough so they arent inclined to get a job. But as I also said, the government is stupid. Also, aboriginals around my neighbourhood are usually the ones thieving stuff from shops. I even remember when Iwas like 12, I heard 14 year old aboriginals outside of Target. One said "did you get it?" the other said "No i thought [name] had it". Personally I havent seen any white person do this and I've only seen it 2 times. But you get what i mean.
