I beg to differ, unfortunately. Don't you think Hitler would have been killed and events like Pearl Harbor and 9-11 stopped, if time travel was discovered 1000 years from now? That alone leads me to believe that nobody will ever discover time travel on our planet. People like JFK just wouldn't be dead if someone could go back and fix it. Now, if alternate dimensions exist for every variable of time, there's still a chance that time traveling can be discovered. If not - I'm thinking it won't ever be. Unless you're John Titor, of course. Traveling forward is much more plausible than traveling backwards in time, the reason you cant travel backwards is because you cant have a negative speed,BUT having a speed faster than the speed of light is possible, even though very hard This has bothered me a LOT so I'll voice it here... There's a good portion of the US that isn't feasible to do that in... unless you want to get some massive urban sprawl going (that would probably counter the bonuses of having public transportation). It's about 10 minutes to the nearest town with a grocery store and another 20-30 to get to the next major town with stores like Best Buy, Lowes, and all that. And this is *mid to eastern* Kansas, the west part of the state is even more sparsely populated.

Ditto. Digg actually just links to other sites, they don't actually host any content. The users submit links, and then vote whether or not they make the front page. So you (normally) get the best articles out there. Not really a big fan of Digg, mainly because of the whole freedom thing... after seeing some of the things that make it to the top....... freedom is baaaaaad! :P (That and the comments are horrible from what I've seen)

And every class I've taken where I've had to make a major essay required the thesis statement to state the main points of your essay :)
