Well it just happens that in the process of killing that man, many innocent civilians died at the hands of the america army, so you can't really say you are all that better than the terrorists. What is there to rejoice over in that? Also, I don't really know what you mean by PC. I like them over macs, but I'm not one myself, you see? Wait, so they START a war, we retaliate and we're the bad guys? I think you need to think about the chain of events here. 1.) We get attacked by Osama and his [bleep]s. 2.) We retaliate by going into Iraq and Afghanistan 3.) We kill Osama Yeah, civilians died. It's not good - nor do American soldiers condone/encourage it. Whereas, Osama ATTACKED civilians. War is an ugly job that needs to be done from time to time. Just remember, Americans were attacked FIRST.

You know what, I'm extremely sick of this argument. :angry: I'm played since that era - yes there was some bots, or as we called it back then - autoers - but did you know how HARD it was to actually find one in game? Everyone talked. Jagex made constant threats that really kept mostly everything in line. And I remember yahooling (yes, this was before google got big) autoers and finding absolutely NOTHING like the organized community of cheaters we have now. And the sad thing is, they're all much larger than TIF or RSOF. (TIF/scapeboard was the largest rs community for the longest time) I'll say this again, botting/cheating has NEVER been this bad - 30-50% of the online population are bots, probably just the same percentage of the playerbase who cheats. I dare you to go out there and find a single MMO that has this kind of rampant, uncontrolled cheating. And back to the topic, YES, it shows a lot of bots - but that was not really my intention at all - I was just trying to find something funny with RS related search terms. As someone very un-nicely put it, a RS failblog auto-complete knockoff. I will be posting new graphs/charts/searches/trends on rs and rs cheating traffic versus other things - but this thread is not it.

This. Also, don't be afraid to level Slayer while farming. You'll pick up various drops that can add up. Slayer DOES get more profitable with higher levels, but it's starting to get dismal even for 85+ Slayers.

I'm not sure if nechs will profit anymore. Herb prices, rune boots and seed prices have essentially nose dived into oblivion. You could still land one of the new rare drops, which would profit. If you had a BoB you could take the ashes, but that would shorten trips tremendously (unless you had Yak). Urns would help with prayer. However, it is still fast experience. At a minimum, you'll be able DRASTICALLY cut the cost of getting those ranged levels. I just don't see profit happening without a stroke of luck.

I'd get 70 cbs. BUT, it is to your benefit to farm. I don't know if it is that profitable with today's herb prices, but you should still be able to make some decent money. And take that as a "do as I say, not as I do" statement. I only have 59 farming. But from whatever level Avantoe is till 59, I've easily made millions. And it only gets better. Summoning is absolutely pro. 52 for TBird is good. From there you'll want 68 for Bunyip.

I think I am only chiming in because I am bored at work. In leadership roles, you have to lead in thick and thin. The admins here have done that. I spent three years co-leading a guild on a different game and I had a similar situation. It is incredibly difficult to be a leader. You don't play for yourself anymore. Members become your cubs and you have to take care of them. Unfortunately, things become more personal when [cabbage] happens. I spent the better part of 6 months grooming 3-4 members of my guild into top tier players. I spent 10-12 hours a day making sure they had the help when they needed it. After awhile, I found out that one had been botting and one had been macroing. It broke my heart in a way. I gave them so much of my time and patience. I made sure they always could afford the gear they needed and [cabbage] like that. What did I do? I reported them. They got banned. My guild administration had the nerve to get mad at me for reporting them. I stood my ground and there was an exodus of players who left the guild. Eventually things smoothed out. Those who left weren't allowed back in. Our guild had integrity and I wasn't going to let cheaters or people who sympathized for them be associated with the guild. I therefore understand 100% the situation on the site. I think the administration acted with as much tact as they could. This site has a reputation to uphold. As much as the accurate information is concerned, there are others who can figure it out. The banned members would say differently, but theyre pretty full of themselves. The manner in which they acted last night is proof of that.

I could put in a bunch of parameters to measure what people look for in a clan, but that focuses this topic in a direction I'm not so sure it should go. So I'll leave it open. What do you guys look for in a clan? Maybe not just Runescape related, but overall. What sorts of things should a clan do? I'll post what I think after we get a few posts.
