Given my levels, do you think it would be easier to melee?
  2. Farming until xp weekend. Probably won't do much other than a slayer task from here to there and most likely getting myself a Fire Cape.

What do? Stats in the sig. What are some of the easier methods? How much time do I need to set aside for this? ETC. IM KIND OF A NOOB. I will be waiting to get a Jad task from Kura. The closer I get to 93 Slayer, the more urgent it becomes for me (in my head) to get a Fire Cape.
  4. I think herbs will have a last minute surge before the weekend. I have nothing to base it on, but I have a feeling most people are looking to level skills like Herblore because it is so god awful expensive. Either way, I'm farming herbs en masse. I don't know if I'll hold onto them or sell them. We'll have to see the prices and what kind of mood I am in. :D
  5. God, I remember talking to you the other morning. I went to class, came back, bonus weekend announced. First though "Good thing Blind got those addy bars!"
  6. I would keep my no vote. My No was really more of a "I don't really care...but because you're asking, no" as opposed to a firm "NO".
  7. After eating obscene amounts of that stuff, bought for a tiny sum from the natives, I proceeded to cut down dozens of trees, mined out the natural ore deposits in the area, paid vast amounts of cash to the sawmill to get some planks, killed half a dozen cows for their sinew, smelted a dozen metal bars using unrefined coal, slaughtered 26 yaks for their hair which I spun into rope, then defaced several spots of natural beauty with hidey-holes and rope racks for the convenience of abusing a rare bird species or taking shortcuts through prior undisturbed routes. After all that, I still get that warm fuzzy feeling that I did my part to save the rainforest. =D>
  8. 8m is EASY. Get that Slayer level up and Farm like you're Amish.
  9. This really smells like a troll.
  10. The newest addition to my family!
  11. I somewhat agree. I was able to flip about 10m in total yesterday without breaking a sweat. Hell, I did it sleeping. It feels a little weird. I suppose I'll get used to it, but I agree with another poster that this is just because of the update being yesterday. Once everyone calms down, things will stabilize. I've played another game on both the official and private servers. On privates, money is worth something until you reach a point. The elite in the servers have no real use for money. It's all about items. On officials, since the volume of players are higher and there are PLENTY of items in the game, money held more weight.

  13. Was kicked without warning tonight. I'm pretty sure I know who kicked me. Also, get your mods reigned in. Some like to start [cabbage], then if you DEFEND yourself, they get upset and act like children. However, hyt is fine for the most part.
  14. January 28th, 2011. It is 3 days pre-emptive to be calling this, but I will announce "Grogthurk's Troll of The Month Award". The runnings this month have been very competitive. Between Blind, Renderer, Demby and Vikki, it was hard to decide. That was until I logged in this morning. I was feeling pretty drowsy, despite being up for quite sometime already. With my eyes half opened I typed in my username and password. I select "World 2" as it is the unofficial world for the Wilderness Agility Training Course. The moment I enter the world, Hyt chat EXPLODED with "Grog, you okay?" "Glad to see you're on Grog" and various other comments as such. Then, in my green private chat I see this: "I convinced everyone in hyt that you were in a car accident and at the hospital" I laughed SO HARD I almost passed out. I should've screen shotted this mofo. I can't believe I didn't. But this happened. I had to explain that everything was okay and I wasn't in a car accident. I was fairly confused as to why they would believe this person, seeing as we're 15 timezones apart. They explained "i told them I had your mobile or something" Well played. January of 2011 "Grogthurks Troll of the Month Award" goes toooo BLIND_AUROR Way to raise the bar! Enjoy your trophy!

It wasn't part of my argument. To truly believe you need to have faith. I thought I was phrasing more as it was the flaw of the entire system. I find it charming. It's about finding what's right for you. Look at things without the critical eye. Looking for flaws doesn't help you find answers.
  16. This may be more a rant of frustration than actual advice seeking. Yesterday, while doing homework, I had a massive headache and my fiancée was just bothering the crap out of me. I eventually got a little short with her and the fight that ensued was absurd. We haven't fought in months. I mean, I know it happened because she was tired and I was VERY uncomfortable. She kept me up until 130am and I have a morning class. The part that bothers me the most is that she spent the entire time saying how I started everything and I'm the reason why she was so mad at the moment. I tried desperately to be relaxed and handle the situation and she kept pushing me. I snapped. I pointed out everything she did. I pointed out how stupid she was being. :wall: It was really dumb of me. I know better. I hope she's fine in the morning. I love her and she does love me, but man, it is never fun to fight like that. I should have been in control and I lost it #-o

Latios, I admire your search for answers. I do believe you are being sincere. I would recommend that you look a little more objectively towards the topic. Your posts come off as "A-hah! I gotcha!" I have no idea, and almost doubt, that that is what you truly mean. However, it is how the posts come off. I've been a Christian my entire life. However, it wasn't until five years ago that I actually gave my life to God. I am no Biblical scholar, but I believe whole heartedly in faith. Latios, you will find that no matter the evidence brought forth, believing takes faith. It is something that takes time and no one, other than you, can decide for you whether or not God or gods exist. I found my faith because I found the teachings of Jesus to be perfect. Most Eastern religions (I'm not trying to be a know-it-all or critical) usually focus on self-actualization (Nirvana, in some). While the intentions are good, it is about focusing on yourself. Christianity --in my opinion-- is about giving yourself to others. It is about other people. Treating others how you want to be treated. I've found the less I am worried about myself, the more stress-free my life is. I am a happier person putting other people before me. That's not to say I neglect myself. I sure do spend a lot of time to myself and doing things I want to do. But I put myself last almost always in group situations. Family dinners? I'm the youngest of four. My brothers are married and have kids. I serve everyone their food before I take my own. I don't complain if we run out of something I really like. That's the most clear example I can find, without going into MASSIVE detail, that I can show. Knowing that the world is so much larger than me, it's easy to take a back seat. So my overall advice is to truly understand the fruits of Christianity (or any religion you look into) you need to lay yourself down. Understand you're 1 in over 6,000,000,000.
