  1. Fair enough if you had said: But what you said implies that if someone is pressing charges then they were responsible for it. This bit:
  2. It's life, it happens when two people disagree on a minor issue and don't want to back down. Just be grateful it's a relent from the constant religious arguments.
  3. A physical fight, by definition, must involve an assault. I did not quote your sentence out of context at all, I provided the following one as well, which was the focus of my initial post. You did not explain the circumstances, you assumed them and that was what I was pulling you up on - because the assumption was erroneous.
  4. No, you said: Notice the full stop at the end of it. You never made any qualifying statements about only meaning school fights, only that "chances are the person filing the charges either started the fight or completely deserved what was coming to him". I provided an example of a 'fight' (of the same sort that the OP had) in which the victim was neither deserving of the attack nor responsible for it.
  5. It is related to what you said. Violence doesn't only get initiated by people 'running their mouths'. There are a myriad on different circumstances that could lead to someone getting punched, and your ignorant blanket-post implied that it is always their fault in some way.
  6. Yeah I'm sure old ladies who get beaten up in an attempt to steal their money were 'running their mouths'.
  7. To be honest I wouldn't be trying to start a fight because of the potential repercussions.
  8. ** If you don't give details, you can't expect help **
  9. He didn't have a fight. He attacked someone who didn't retalliate, continuing to hit them 5 more times whilst they just took it. That's not a fight.
  10. You expect to punch someone 6 times without them trying to fight back and not get in trouble for it? You did commit assault and you should be punished for it, and maybe a bit more for thinking it's not assault.
  11. Viktorkrum's bump was a legitimate one for the reason he posted and it would be a waste to lock this topic given it's information content.
  12. It's very easy for people to condemn suicide/euthanasia when they've never faced pure, unending agony for the rest of their lives. To make such judgements without any idea of the suffering someone who wants euthanasia is undergoing is selfish, ignorant and arrogant. I'd wager you'd quickly change your tune and stop preaching were you to be in their situation.
  13. What I was talking about was when tip.it didn't host their forums for a while, I guess there was a problem with doing so. So someone called Ruby stepped in and offered hosting at his/her site, on the condition that he/she was an admin. He/she was pretty corrupt as far as I remember, offering custom titles that gave him/her money ingame. I keep saying he/she since with internet females you have to assume they're not necessarily female.
  14. I think you missed out the period when the forums were run by someone called Ruby on his/her host. I believe it was just before scapeboard. Except scapeboard wasn't called scapeboard initially.
  15. I think the Need for Speed: Carbon messageboard may be of more use.
  16. Wrong. This is why drug threads always go down the pan: there's always someone spreading misinformation and propaganda like Achilleus here.
  17. As far as I'm aware, drugs taken orally take longer to take effect than drugs taken via smoking or insufflation. Eating space cakes also has a different effect to smoking a dooberry too.
  18. I think he was saying which fool would pay for it, implying that someone who's not a fool will not pay for it...but have it anyway. Of course that's not an option for companies thanks to audits.
  19. I've used Maya. Whether it's good depends on what you want it for, I found Maya to be more focused on animation - which I wasn't into. I found 3DSM to be easier to use for still renders. It may just be that Maya has a steeper learning curve.
  20. Well, not got it quite yet - they've got to build it up from scratch then send it to me so it will be a couple of days - I hate waiting :( For those who are interested, there's a good explanation of bike trials and the techniques involved on this site. Some links to action shots from that site: http://www.trials-online.com/forum/albu ... ?pic_id=77 http://www.trials-online.com/forum/albu ... ?pic_id=49 I've got nothing to do with that site, by the way. I just found it yesterday.
  21. I'm not sure if you were referring to the bike I am getting as a BMX. For anyone who didn't know, it's a trials bike and not a BMX. The main differences are the drivetrain (both are fixed gear but trials bikes have much smaller front sprockets), the tyres (they're super fat, almost like motorbike tyres) and the brakes (trials brakes are focused on locking the wheel in place - these ones are Magura HS33 hydraulic rim brakes). I ordered it today, I'm excited.
  22. Were you taking me seriously? If you want to know why there's no seat, watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSxOzbHiRwY For those who can't be bothered to watch the video, the answer is because given the nature of the riding, you'd be smacking your balls on the seat every single manoeuvre. You should be bothered to watch the video though, it's very impressive.
