Well DUH. Just because time periods and settings are correct does not validate the events that supposidly took place during/in them. If your Science teacher can disprove evolution, I think she probably should talk to someone about claiming her Nobel prize that she will undoubtidly recieve after disproving evolution. I won't make a debate out of that, simply because Aristotle lived long before many advances in modern science. Despite that fact that you put commas in the wrong places, spell numerous words incorretly, and fail to piece together a coherient sentence once every time you post, you still have the nerve to say that nothing I say makes any sense?

Wrong. Your proof was not factual and prooved nothing. Wrong. Having knowledge of ancient civilizations actually enhanced my belief that the bible was in fact nonsense. By the way, something 2000 years old is hardly considered "Ancient", unless of course you believe that the Earth is only 6000 years old. However, as I've already said, there is no reason to do something like tilt the Earth if you are able to change it so that it is not necessary. You present a weak argument which consists of: If you can't comprehend it, then god must've done it! If it's beyond our though processes, it must be the work of god!" Unfortunatly, we know why the Earth has tilt, and therefore god is out of the equation. I said "We", as in everything that populated Earth. Try reading the sentence before you make a comment about it. NOTHING has been physically prooven to contradict the notions of evolution/big bang and supports the idea of creation.

This is not even a coherient sentence. Evolution and the big bang theory totally contradict what is written about creation. What did that "proof" explain, exactly? No, you pick and choose what you percieve as factually correct. It establishes nothing factual about god, nor does it provide any evidence that isn't faith based. "Hearing great things about it" gives you no room to discuss it's validity. I suggest you research this topic, and you'll come to find out that order in nature only exists without human intervention, and even then it is pretty scarcely found. We tend to ruin that which is natural. There is no more symmetry in the human body than there is in the body of a monkey. Also, if god created the Sun and the Earth, why would he need to tilt the Earth if he simply could have made it so the Earth required no tilt? Nothing fell into place. We adapted to what we were given. No, it is not relative, because one theory is based upon highly observed concepts beyond most human comprehension, whereas the other has no more merit than the idea of Santa Claus in the realm of testing.

Order - What order? Everything falling into place - What fell into place? Sun standing still for a day - ??? Science - Supports exactly the opposite of what you believe in. The Bibe - Well, that should be pretty self explanatory after 80 pages of discussion.

If you want me to provide some evidence, I can start with the theory of evolution, the big bang theory, Darwin's finches, and Biology in general.

How is this a "last ditch effort"? Just because you cannot find an answer to the question doesn't mean it's our last ditch effort, nor does it mean that you've answered the question by saying (in essence), "Don't try that on us". People can be both. Democrats are not inherintly idealists. Just like some Christians choose to believe in evolution, regaurdless of the fact that it doesn't logically fit with the creationist stories/beliefs. My mind seems to be fuzzy...Where did you lay out a coherient argument again? I see nothing in the way of factual evidence to support your claim.

I'm pretty sure that we've given a thousand more reasons that simply the fact that we aren't in agreeance with their religious views.

A couple of questions I'd like answered: -Evolution has been proven and tested. It is the most comprehensive explanation as to how we are as we are. What I'd like to know is, if "God" created us in his image, which one of our phases is God? -Is there any other thing you believe in that is untestable, intangable, and not physically existant? Why do you choose to believe that god is the only thing that can be those three and still exist? For kicks, how about a brain teaser: Can god create a rock that is too large for him to lift? If he can, then he would be incapable of lifting it, so he cannot be all powerful. If he cannot create it, then, again, he is not an all powerful creator.

No. It's the most comprehensive explanation PERIOD. Hence the reason it is taught in schools nationwide. There is no other explanation for how we came to be as we are today, aside from a supernatural explanation, which is seemingly more and more disprovable as the days go by. You must teach the one that is based off of observations and facts.

Are you ACTUALLY suggesting that we don't teach the most comprehensive explanation for the way mankind is built because some people don't agree with it? Some people don't agree about a heck of a lot of things, but in the end, they're taugh in schools (especially in Science classes) because they are the most comprehensive explanations for the nature/origin of species as we know them.
